N80 Bluetooth has stopped working?

Hi
I was using my N80 3g Connection via bluetooth for my laptop. This was working fine no problems. I lost the signal due to bad reception then I found that since this time I can not get my bluetooth to work. The small icon on the screen says that it's on, but the blue light is no flashing. I have tried to turn off bluetooth and back on but still no joy. Turned phone off and on, but still no joy.
The phone can not find any other bluetooth device nor can any other device find my N80.
Any help would be very much appricated as bluetooth is very vital to me!

Maybe I should read

Are you absolutely sure your phone is 'discoverable' in the settings? Because it sounds like your phone is set to hidden mode, in which it can initiate and keep open connections, but it can't be found by other devices.

  • My Bluetooth has stopped working

    Please help.
My bluetooth has stopped working, I have the bluetooth icon in the menu bar but when ever I go to turn it on it stays off. I have looked at my bluetooth preferences to try and pair my phone to it, when it prompts me to turn on bluetooth it still stays off and grayed out in the menu bar.
Is there a way that I can check if my bluetooth is still functioning on my macbook?
    Thanks

Try resetting the PRAM as described here:

  • Unfortunately, Bluetooth has stopped working message

Hello, Two weeks ago I bought a pair of wireless headphones to use with my Samsung Galaxy S5. Up until Saturday night everything worked fine. On Saturday night I received a message stating ‘Unfortunately, Bluetooth has stopped’ this message appears every couple of minutes and I can only stop the message from appearing by turning the Bluetooth off. I have tried clearing the Bluetooth cache and restarting the phone but the message continues to come up. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Interested in how this turns out. My Bluetooth started playing up on Saturday as well, so very odd they all started failing around the same time. If I was to take a stab in the dark I'd say it's a glitch with the OS that Samsung/Telstra need to get on top of ASAP.
So far, so good. Bluetooth is working correctly with two of my devices, namely my car's head unit and my Pebble watch. As a side note, Samsung's Smart Switch leaves a lot to be desired as a backup and restore application.  All up, I think it took me about 4 or 5 hours to reinstall and resync all my data - maps, podcasts, ref material.  I trust that the reset has solved the problem once and for all, but reading some other forums I note the outcome is good for a limited time before it needs doing again.  Other forums also suggest it's a known issue with Samsung/Lollipop that requires addressing. I thought an earlier poster was on to something when I saw the last update date of the Telstra app was 29/7, but that's probably coincidence.  I think I average about 4 or 5 app updates on any given day, making it hard to pin down to any one app. Needless to say, I shall be monitoring the situation more closely for a while.

  • Bluetooth has stopped working on iPhone 4S

For the past week I have tried all scenarios and it didn't work for my bluetooth.  Today I have updated to the latest iOS version 7.1.1 and still no result.
My bluetooth is not finding any devices and is running always on search mode but nothing happens and no devices found although I have two devices in range that I used to connect to for the past 2 years. I am wondering if it could be a hardware failure? But the thing is that on my other device the iPad I can see my phone device but can't connect to it. Please help! Thank you.

If the devices that you used to connect to are not listed in the Bluetooth device area, then you need to put them back into discovery/pairing mode to connect to the iPhone. Find the user guide for whatever devices you are working with and find out how to put them into discovery/pairing mode. Once you do that, see if they show up to connect to the iPhone. Many times when you update iOS on the iPhone it will remove the ability to connect to past devices. All you have to do is put them back into discovery/pairing mode and connect again. After pairing again, they should always connect when in range.
I missed the other question. The iPhone will not pair with the iPad in Bluetooth, except under specific circumstances, such as Personal Hotspot.

    Hi
Did you try to reinstall the Toshiba BT stack?
Usually this should help to get rid of this error message.
Here you can download the newest BT stack:
    http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/
Remove firstly the old BT software from the system and after new reboot install the BT downloaded from the Toshiba BT page.

  • My Apple Bluetooth keyboard has stopped working. The top row of keys works but the rest of the keys do not. I was carrying this in my computer bag without turning it off and that is when this started.

My apple bluetooth keyboard has stopped working. The top row of keys works and the iPad sees the bluetooth keyboard (the bluetooth icon is active) but the other keys do not work. For the past coupld of days I have carried my keyboard in my computerbag without turning it off and I am thinking I have done something to make the letter keys to stop working. Two days in a row I did turn on the music as I carried the computer bag into work so I know that some keys were being activated.

    *UPDATE*
I have been able to use the Zoom function to zoom in and the keys on the top row no longer are in the non-responsive strip of area.

  • Satellite U300-130 - TosBtMng has stopped working after Nokia PC Suite installation

I've got the same problem too... with Toshiba Satellite U300-130.
Bluetooth had worked pretty well before I installed Nokia PC Suite for my mobile on my PC (the newest version 7.1.26.0 from website).
To be correct, at first I even managed to maintain a Bluetooth connection between PC and Nokia and ran syncronisation of contacts. I made several attempts but each time syncronisation run ended with message "PC coudn't get answer from your Nokia".
After rebooting, my PC went crazy and started issuing message "TosBtMng has stopped working" and it restarted every time I ask it to close.
Installation of new version of BT Stack (6.40) didn't fix this error.
    Please help

    Hi there
I answered an existing thread with the same problem, but no-one can help apparently.
Anyway,,, I can at least help you with getting rid of the looping setup. You need to rename the directory with the Toshiba bluetooth stack.
I also have Nokia syncing and it worked fine until recently. - I have to say I think the problem relates to a Windows auto upgrade.
How to solve this is a different matter. At this moment I have given up. The Toshiba bluetooth stack disabled.

  • Re: Pressing FN+F5 message: IGFXEXT module has stopped working

When i press Fn F5 i get the message IGFXEXT module has stopped working and i cannot change my monitor configuration. I briefly see the icons but when i cancel the error message they disappear.
I have downloaded and install ed the 09/10/08 Intel Driver from the Toshiba download.
What is the problem and how can i fix it. It has been present since i bought the machine.

    Hello
The fact is that all drivers, tools and utilities must be installed in the right and defined order. Toshiba people do exactly the same and later made recovery image. For your own installation the principle is the same. All offered stuff on Toshiba support and download page should be installed following Installations Instructions document.
Unfortunately this document is not available for this Portege. So, try please to install and configure Vista following this installations order:

  • Apple Bluetooth Keyboard stopped working letters Q thru I.

My Apple Bluetooth Keyboard has stopped working on letters Q thru I.  Any suggestions.  Is it worth repair, or just buy new?

Sorry....I assumed that the KB was attached to a Mac
If you are near an Apple Store, you might take it in for testing.
From what you describe, I suspect the KB has failed.

  • CRASHED: Microsoft has stopped working error!

    Dear all,
Recently, I have installed Microsoft Lync 2013 32-bit on my Lenovo K2450 Windows 7 laptop. It has never been run before on this laptop. When I tried opening it, the following message "Microsoft Lync has stopped working" is displayed and closes unexpectedly.
Other Microsoft programs like Excel, Powerpoint 2013 works fine. I have looked up similar topics on this forum and tried the methods below but still encountered the same error.
    E.g. - tried disabling/uninstalling Bluetooth driver
          - uninstalling Microsoft Lync 2013 and reinstalling it back
          - repairing Microsoft Lync 2013 and restarting
Any help will be greatly appreciated! Any suggestions I will be happy to test/try it out. Thank you in advance!

There are almost always driver related.  Try booting in safe mode with networking and see if you can get it to start without crashing.  Also try using generic video/audio/webcam drivers one at a time to see if you can identify the culprit.

  • TosBtMng has stopped working

I keep getting the following message whenever I boot the system:
"TosBtMng has stopped working" - A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
I have downloaded patch and the relevant drivers, even then it is my blue tooth is not working and a small window pops up with the same message.
How to fix this problems? - Plesae help

I get exactly the same problem.
I have a Satellite with Vista 32 bit and the Toshiba Bluetooth stack. I only use it with my Nokia phone and it has never worked very well. - But it HAS worked.
A few weeks back, it stopped working alltogether and I decided to check for an upgrade on Toshiba's site. I've found "Bluetooth Stack-6.10.10" which supposedly is the most current.
I have removed the complete directory and even used regedit to remove all keys pointing to the dir, before rebooting and installing from scratch with no luck.
The PC was originally delivered with several languages, but I have chosen to install the English version of Vista. For some reason, the bluetooth stack insists on installing in Danish (and there is no way to change that). I have a feeling that this is at least part of the reason for the problem.
Since the problem suddenly occured. At one time, I had some kind of a loop with 20+ active TosBtMng.exe icons in the system tray. Every time I start it I get the following:
    Problem signature:
