N800 - How to get the pipe symbol AKA vertical bar...
Hi... the N800 is one slick device. But I have Xterminal installed on it, and I just can't find the vertical bar needed to construct a UNIX command line with pipes. I've checked the screen keyboard, shifted, and also the extended symbol selection. It doesn't seem to show up anywhere. Has anybody found it?

Muthuraman.DSpeak to the Basis guys, you need the necessary code pages (I think they're called). I'm still not sure if you can copy and paste from Word but the Basis guys may know. Depends on standards used by SAP v MS (SAP tend to be good at following standards).
You also need to consider the knock on effect on programs e.g. reports that output text may need conversion to work with special characters.
It's not a quick fix type job.

You have to check the system variable &NEXTPAGE&, if it's 0 it means you're in the last page.
From SAP Help:
This symbol is used to print the number of the following page. The output format is the same as with &PAGE& .
Note that on the last page of the output, in each window that is not of type MAIN, &NEXTPAGE& has the value 0.

I recently noticed a dramatic decrease in my Blackberry Curve 9300's battery life. Several days ago, it went from lasting all day to only lasting a few hours. I have also noticed that I get the "clock" symbol appearing on the screen even if I'm not using the phone --- and it stays on the screen for up to 10 minutes or more at a time ! I will look at the phone to get the time and I see that it hasn't updated for 10-15 minutes and the clock symbol is running the entire time. When it finally does disappear, the phone seems to work like it always has ---- but I'm worried that I've either picked up a virus or have somehow activated something that is draining my battery and memory resources rapidly. Any thoughts or suggestions will be greatly appreciated ! P.S.. I'm a relatively new Blackberry user --- switched from iPhone about 6 months ago......so still learning about how the device works and how to troubleshoot ! THANKS !

I have encountered the following problem with the following JSP code:

The value of s is alway the filename. However I want to get the full path in addition to the filename, so that I can read the file. Does anyone know how to get the pull name of the file?

thanks a lot for your reply. Please let me explain what I intended to do: I want to upload a file from the local machine and then read the content of the file. Therefore I need to the fullpath of the filename like /var/local/file.java instead of file.java. The latter is what I got.
The problem I have with your code is that the function like "request.getServerScheme()" is not recognized. Maybe is it because I didn't install servelet package? I only installed javax package btw. J2SE Sender File adapter --- XI Adapter --- XI pipe line
So the File reaching to XI pipelane via J2SE File adapter--> XI adapter.
When we are using the dynamic configurator in the XI to get the filename
we are not able to get the file name becasue it is coming to XI via

How to change the Field Symbol, so Adobe Forms takes it as a Table?

I created an Field Symbol, in a Interface which I use for Adobe Forms. The type of the Field Symbol is STANDARD TABLE, and this field symbol I fill with data from another program.
But the problem is that in adobe forms, this Field Symbol is taken as TEXT FIELD and not as Table... and this shows me a Dump because it can't convert Internal Table to type C (the dump is like that).
What I need, is how to change the Field Symbol, so Adobe Forms takes it as a Table?
I looked at Adobe Form, and found this:
The Type Category of the Field Symbol is DICTIONARY TYPE and I think I need to change it to Internal Table as shown in the right picture.

To what i understand your requirement, you need to pass data from Field symbol to internal table in Adobe form.

VS2013 / Team Explorer vsix - How to get the currently selected build definition?

My goal with a simple extension is to right-click any build definition and if my "Show Build Def Stats" menu item is selected, pop a message box with some summary details I plan to pull from the IBuildDefinition interface.
I'm missing something fundamental I'm sure, but I cannot figure out how in the menu handler the actual build definition that I clicked on.
The menu command is added where I want it successfully:
