N80ie login prob on webservice "unsupported conten...

I sent a link to my phone for plaxo mobile, and from there I can login successfully. Subsequently I saved the link as a bookmark, and whenver I try to log in from the bookmark, I get an error message "unsupported content type." From the original email I can still login successfully, but never from the bookmark.
From Y!go I'm finding that I can't login either, it claims another application is using the Internet, please stop the other application, but there is no other app. using the internet.

i get "unsupported content type" if I try to visit wap sites with the S60 browser. Visiting normal web sites is fine.
No issues with Y!go2 on the N80 for meMessage Edited by iggy23 on 30-Apr-200704:05 PM

  • Login details when Webservice is called from Interactive Adobe form

    Hello Experts,
    Can you please suggest me the procedure to overcome the below issue.
    I am calling the Webservice from my interactive adobe form.
    When ever i click on the Submit button on my form, it is triggering the webservice but asking for the login details for authentication in the popup.
    In the real time scenario i will not be having any user id and passwords. So, I don't want this popup.
    What do i need to follow to get this done.
    Regards,
    Ram

    Turn off security on your web service.

  • Messages interfaces doubt in Webservices and BPM design

    i have a requirement where SAP sends data to some web application.. so we are going to use Proxy to webservices.. in this we are also using BPM.
    SAP sends the data to PI ..in PI BPM triggers it will check some login credintials with webserices application and response will be sent back to PI .. in PI it will have to append the login session id with SAP data and then finally PI pushes the data to target system(web application).
    SAP--SAP-PI (BPM)web services.
      1. SAP sends data to PI
      2. PI checks the login credentials with webservices
      3.Sen back the session id
      4. session id appended to SAP data
      5. Final data will be sent to webapplications
    So how many msg interfaces that i need to create.?
      1 DATAfrom SAP_Outbound (Asyn) ---
      2. Data from SAP_Abstarct(Asyn)_BPM
      3. Data webapplication to SAP- (abstarct )-Sync   ( which gets the session id)
      3. FinalDatato Webapplication(Asyn)-Abstract
    Please correct me if i'm wrong...
    Regads,
    Deeps

    Hi Shabarish,
      Proxy call is Async
    Prateek,
       can we make it with SOAP lookup? which one is best the option BPM or SOAP lookup..
       i hope it is always good to have a interface without BPM right ?
      Can you tell me how to approach SOAP lookup.. ?
    Regards,

  • Basic authentication call webservice

    Hey,
    I'm making a Flex webshop and uses a webservice on XI as datasource. Now, each time I start the webshop, I need to login on this webservice. I want to hard code the credentials or another solution so I don't reveive the authentication screen anymore.
    Anyone an idea how I can do this?
    Thanks in advance!

  • Running WebService using already authenticated user

    Hi,
    I am using as a base, the Avitek Medical Records application.
    I log into the patient web app, by using the username "[email protected]". I can see with that the Security subject has been created with that principal.
    Then I go to another web app, in another ear: Physician. From there I sent the username to the WebService in order that WebService run with the Subject of that already logged in user.
    My problem is: it does not accept only a username, with NO password.
    QUESTION: Is there a way to run a WebService using the username if that user is already logged in the realm, without re-authenticating him.
    Here is an excerpt of my web service client code:
    ...webservice client {
         WebServiceSession session = serviceContext.getSession();
         UserInfo ui = new UserInfo(bup);
         session.setAttribute(WSSEClientHandler.REQUEST_USERINFO, ui);
         // Add the username token to the SOAP header.
    SecurityElementFactory factory = SecurityElementFactory.getDefaultFactory();
    Security security = factory.createSecurity(null);
    security.addToken(ui);
    session.setAttribute(WSSEClientHandler.REQUEST_SECURITY, security);
    Here is an excerpt of my WebService server method, in order to see under which Principal it is run:
    ...webserviceMethod() {
    javax.security.auth.Subject subject = Security.getCurrentSubject();
    logger.info("WebService Subject =" + SubjectUtils.displaySubject(subject));
    logger.info("WebService Subject username=" + SubjectUtils.getUsername(subject));
    RESULTS 1
    If I do NOT have any <security> branch in my web-services.xml, here is the exception I get:
    Got a Web Service Request at URL: '/ws_medrec/MedRecWebServices' for web service 'null'
    Got a Web Service Request at URL: '/MedRecWebServices' for web service 'MedRecWebServices'

    Hi Frank,
    thanks for the quick reply. I got the code for how to use FacesContext...but where should i implement the code? do i have to create a backing bean or something? how to use a backing bean if i have to display the same information across every page during a session? where, for example, should i use the following code fragment?
    FacesContext fc = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    ExternalContext ec = fc.getExternalContext();
    userName = ec.getRemoteUser();
    Please explain how to go about it. thanks

    OK, here's what I've tried - any comments or suggestions?
    1. Create async token, set it equal to ws1_send(), set
    original parameters as dynamic properties
    2. In ws1_onFault, pass token as property to the loginPanel
    3. loginPanel raises a loginEvent with a property equal to
    the token
    4. ws1_onLoginEvent gets token, calls ws1_send with stored
    parameters
    Thanks.

  • Class visibility problems in deployed OC4J application

    I have an entity, autogenerated from a database table by JDeveloper, which has the form:
    Entity.java:
    package a.b.c;
    import ...
    @Entity
    @NamedQuery( ... )
    @Table( ... )
    public class Entity implements Serializable {
        @Column( ... )
        : etc.
    }Then I have a stateless session bean, also autogenerated by JDeveloper, which has the form:
    SessionEJBBean.java:
    package a.b.c;
    import ...
    @Stateless(name="SessionEJB")
    public class SessionEJBBean implements SessionEJB {
        @PersistenceContext(unitName="Simple")
        private EntityManager em;
        public List<Entity> queryFindAll() {
            return em.createNamedQuery( ... ).getResultList();
        : etc.
    }Then I have my client (again, largely autogenerated):
    SessionEJBClient.java:
    package a.b.c;
    import ...
    public class SessionEJBClient {
        public static void main(String [] args) {
            try {
                final Context context = getInitialContext();
                SessionEJB sessionEJB = (SessionEJB)context.lookup("SessionEJB");
                List<Entity> entities = sessionEJB.queryFindAll();
            } catch (Exception ex) {
                ex.printStackTrace();
        private static Context getInitialContext() throws NamingException {
         : etc.
    }The above code works fine, however I now want to experiment with the oracle.toplink.essentials.tools.sessionconfiguration.SessionCustomizer interface. To this end, I create a bare-bones customizer class:
    Customizer.java:
    package a.b.c;
    import ...
    public class Customizer implements SessionCustomizer {
        public Customizer() {
        public void customize(Session session) {
    }and make corresponding updates to the persistence.xml file:
    persistence.xml:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252" ?>
    <persistence
      xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
      xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/persistence
      http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/persistence/persistence_1_0.xsd"
      version="1.0" xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/persistence">
      <persistence-unit name="Simple">
        <properties>
          <property name="toplink.session.customizer" value="a.b.c.Customizer"/>
        </properties>
      </persistence-unit>
    </persistence>Now, when I redeploy and attempt to run my client application, I'm told that the customizer class cannot be found:

           Configuration: <code-source> in /usr/oc4j/j2ee/home/config/server.xml
    This load was initiated at oracle.persistence:1.0 using the Class.forName() method.
    The missing class is available from the following locations:
         1. Code-Source: /usr/oc4j/j2ee/home/applications/SimpleApp/SimpleApp.jar
    (from <ejb> in /usr/oc4j/j2ee/home/applications/SimpleApp)
            This code-source is available in loader SimpleApp.root:0.0.0.
    This is the current thread's context loader, and it appears that Class.forName()
    was used to load the dependent class. If a loader was not explicitly passed to
    Class.forName(), try passing the result of calling
    Thread.currentThread().getContextClassLoader()So, my question is: what is the correct way for me to configure the system so that my Customizer class is picked up?
    Apologies if this is obvious - I'm still rather new to working in this area (so if anything else I've written doesn't make sense - please don't be afraid to point it out!).
    Regards,
    Alistair.

    Hi, you all seem highly intelligent so I'll give this a shot.
    We're having a similar problem, but TopLink is not involved. Axis2 is, but in our case, the Axis2 application runs fine, it's the other applications that fail.
    We have three applications, Login, Candle, and Webservices (the one with Axis2). When we first start up the applications, they all instantiate fine. We can run Login pages and Candle pages fine. We can also run non-Axis2 Webservices servlets without breaking Login and Candle. But when we run a webservices servlet that uses Axis2, something happens that causes all future Login and Candle class loading to fail! From the error message, OC4J indicates that it is trying to load classes for Login and Candle using the classloader for Webservices.
    So, to summarize, once the webservices app runs an Axis2 servlet, OC4J tries to use the webservices' classloader to load classes for the other applications instead of using their classloaders. The example error message I give below is for the Candle application, but the same problem occurs for Login.
    Please help, even if it's just a suggestion for something to try!! We've been trying to understand this for 2 days and we're still as stumped as ever.

  • How to transform complex types

    I am trying to use the tranformation tool to map a internal 'SalesOrder' object to an external return object that has a slightly different structure.
    My SalesOrder object has a property of type Set which holds one-to-many SaleItem objects. In the transformation tool I don't see any way to map the objects within the SalesItem set to a similar Set in my output object.
    Without mapping the child objects (SalesOrder.SalesItem --> SalesOrder.SalesItem) that are within this SalesOrder I will end up with a ClassCastException when the client accesses the Set of SalesItems within it's returned SalesOrder return parameter from my process.
    What am I missing?

    Hi Johan,
        Thanks for the valid response.
        And one more question:
            How to maintain session in CAF Application Service?
            My scenario is:
                     I have used a webservice as external service in CAF, which contains several methods.
    suppose, If I call login() method in webservice, the user session should be maintained through Application Service even if I call another method in the web service.
            I have now directly using the external service in my Application Service.
    When using Entity service the session is maintained without any problem.
    But session is not working in Application Service.
           What could be the problem?

  • Alerts as adaptor engine level

    Hi
    I have configured the alerts  and they are working fine like "mapping error" . Now i want to configure the alerts at adapter engine  level like login prob , communication prob, JDBC adaptor error etc
    Any clues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    Vijay

    Alerts are triggered for adapter level errors also, if you are on SP 14 and above. No spl config required for this.

  • Cold Fusion MX and Windows 7

    Hi,
    has anyone had experience with installing CF MX on a Windows 7 system?
    I had trouble with Vista. I am planning to buy a new computer and they are all on Windows 7. I want to make sure if I will be able to have my CF MX installed on it without having problems.
    Please advise. any help is greatly appreciated in advance.

    CF was CFMX until CFMX7: CF8 was the first without it.  But, yes, you're right: knowing exactly what the OP is talking about would be helpful here.
    I haven't had any problem installing CF8 or CF9 on Win7 (just the Starter version of Win7 for me... it's a netbook).  Then again, I had no problems installing or 7, 8 or 9 ( simultaneously) on Win Vista (Home Premium) either.  So the difficulties you encountered installing on Vista were not down to CF, so if it's an idiosyncracy of how you're doing the install, or the environment when installing (eg: not being logged in as an administrator), then you're quite possibly going to have hassles on Win7 too.  Still: the easiest way isn't to guess, or to ask other people: it's to try it.
    If the question is simply "is it supported", then there's a web page for that:
    http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion/systemreqs/ (or for CF8: http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion/coldfusion8/systemreqs/)
    (note that clearly the "supported" matrix is a subset of the "will run on" matrix, given I've had no probs on the unsupported versions I list above)
    Versions of CF earlier than CF8 are being end-of-lifed, and are not actively supported by Adobe.  This is not to say they won't work, they're just not supported.  One should not be running a version of CF older than CF8.  Not least because earlier versions are pretty bloody slow and less stable compared to CF8.

  • Maintaining session problem... Save and send cookie?

    Hello,
    I have recently switched to programming in Java after programming for a while in C++, so bare with me if I ask dumb questions :) ... In the company I work I have a situation which requires me to connect to a webservice.
    I have used WSDL2Java successfully to generate the stub from the WSDL. I can connect and login to the webservice, but for some reason I cannot keep the session active. I send the login request, I receive the correct response, together with the cookie. The thing is I don't know how to extract it and send it along...
    I have tried to myStub._getServiceClient().getOptions().setManageSession(true) but that doesn't seem to work. Is there any way to extract the cookie string from the response I get to the login request and then pass it to the following data request?
    Thank you very much!

    Thanks for the reply... I've tried to find a way to inject it, but I can't really find it... This is what I have got so far:
    X1OrderServiceStub stub = new X1OrderServiceStub();
    X1OrderServiceStub.Login request= new X1OrderServiceStub.Login();
    request.setEmail("[email protected]");
    request.setPassword("thanks");
    System.out.println("Request : " + request.toString());
    X1OrderServiceStub.LoginResponse response= stub.Login(request);
    System.out.println("Response : " + response.toString());
    X1OrderServiceStub.AccountsList request2= new X1OrderServiceStub.AccountsList();
    System.out.println("Request : " + request2.toString());
    X1OrderServiceStub.AccountsListResponse response2= stub.AccountsList(request2);
    System.out.println("Response : " + response2.toString()); // Result is session expired or not logged
    Could you please give me more hints? Thanks a lot!
