....................................................i wanna know becuz i wanna buy a n81 8GB and thinking of putting another memory card? Is the 8GB hard drive or a memory card. And is there any Wi-Fi?And is the screen bigger than N72? And one of my friends is saying that there is a problem with the buttons(the numbers) like they are messed up and when he puts it in his pocket the button get pressed.

the 8gig is internal memory (hard drive) and you don't have a slot for another memory card...only the new n96 has that accessibilty and it has 16 gig internal hard drive...the screen is quite big...and the keys are not a problem 4 me....

Okay, I did my best searching and I couldn't find anything that matched all your descriptors. I did do a search on both decoder numbers. SB0256 returned very little results, but with SB0466, I was able to find this ebay listing:

This card isn't a Champion like you suggested. And with my complete lack of knowledge, I don't know what I/O dri've bay means. But since it is PCI and the decoder matches the number you gave me, this card should be adequete, right?
Whether it works or not, my search indicated it might be very hard for me to find that card (or any PCI card for that matter). Everything I saw was out of stock. I know this is a forum for Creative, but are there any other manufacturers that will allow me to accomplish my goal, either with current cards, or discontinued cards? Thanks again

Maybe the wrong port or the wrong kind of memory card? You didn't say what version/year of Macbook Pro you have. Below is a photo of the newest one.

Since the memory is not removable from the phone, and the phone does not have user serviceable parts, and it voids the warranty and post-warranty support if you open up the iPhone.....................I would say no. That does not take into account a number of differences in the internals of the phone either.

All it says is SanDisk MicroSD to Adapter and has two other small parts with it.

Typically, cell phones have MicroSD/MicroSDHC slots.
Most cameras have full-size SD/SDHC slots. I'm assuming (not time to look it up) that the SL202 fits in this category.
If you place the MicroSD memory card into the adapter, it should work in the camera.
Beware that MicroSD cards tend to be slower than full-size SD cards, are 25-50% more expensive, and also some devices don't like MicroSD cards in adapters for some reason - while they work, they work SLOWLY. (Some MicroSDs and my Dell's built-in reader just don't get along...)
Not sure what the iPhone has to do with anything, to my knowledge it does not support memory expansion of any sort.
Unless you REALLY need to be able to send pictures taken with the camera from your cell phone, I would reccommend just purchasing a full size SDHC card. With many phones, the software is limited enough that doing such a thing isn't even possible despite the memory cards being compatible - a fullsize JPEG would choke the MMS system.

N95 8GB Isnt reading/detecting any memory card.

My N95 isnt reading or noticing that a memory card is inserted, I tryed formating it it wouldnt let me, a message comes up saying "Drive not found". Even when i create a fold inside it a massage comes sayinf "Param error".
Clicking Open says empty.
I tryed to formating on the PC, but nothing changes, its still says the same thing.
I tryed 2 new memory cards and both gave me the same messages.
could I have some help pls.

I remind you that if you have something calling itself a Nokia N95 8GB that has a memory card slot, then it most certainly isn't a genuine Nokia device.
This being the case, all bets are off when it comes to hardware compatibility and you will receive no support here. All I can say is simply that the µSD card reader in your phone is most likely not an SDHC reader, meaning that it won't accept cards greater than 2GB.

It may..It may not.. but NO harm trying as you will just have to reset the personalisations.. Though taking a Data back-up before the Factory reset is always recommended..

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. If the card does not come out of the optical drive when you turn the iMac on its side and gently shake it you have a problem. Some users have reported success by inserting a thin piece of card into the drive to dislodge the memory card but you risk damaging the optical drive mechanism/optics or pushing the card in further.
It will be an expensive repair as it will not be covered by warranty. It may be cheaper to 'write-off' the internal drive and by an external OEM USB drive. Do not buy an Apple Superdrive as it will not work.

you mean to insert? Slot is located on the left side panel , upper one being for sim and lower, memory card. Once inserted you can view it in applications >office >file manager >memory.
Or you meant something else ? Make it clear.

The specifications are correct... however, among Mac users the Kingston "value RAM" has earned a reputation for failure.
In the US I recommend Mac users buy memory from OWC / MacSales or Crucial. I also recommend you avoid Kingston.
If you cannot buy from them see if you can find a source for Hynix memory.

Transferring 6610 map to another memory card.

Apologies if this has already been asked before however I can't seem to find it.
My 6610 came with a UK map pre-loaded onto a 256MB memory card, which is great however I'd like to transfer the map onto a new 2GB card which I have bought so I dont have to swap memeory cards if I want to listen to music or use the SatNav. The route 66 software says the map is locked, so does anyone know a way of transferring the map between 2 seperate memory cards?

Connect to pc using a card reader.
Ensure you have hidden files set to view.
Copy all contents of old mem card to folder on PC.
Insert new mem card.
Copy all files from the folder on the PC to the new mem card.
If you use copy and paste, you'll also have the original info on the old mem card in case things go wrong.
The best way to get a quick response is to use the boards. Please do not be offended if I don't answer emails immediately.
