N81 - doesnt work,white screen :((
Hello everybody!
I have a problem with my N81 8Gb:
When i was speaking - the phone turned off (battery was low). And dont turn on :-( When i try to charge the battery, the screen flashed - 20 second its white, then 5 second - black.
I already try to change battery,... nothing :-(
when i push the botton for turn on the phone - the vibro works one second, then screen become white for 5 second and thats all! :-((((

Try a hard reset.
Hard reset. Turn off the phone. Press and hold three keys together, the green key, the '*' key and the number '3'.Then, turn on the phone and don't let the three keys before you see the Nokia hands logo.
For 5800 XM hard reset need different keys. The green key, the red key and the camera button. The process is the same.Warning!Hard reset deletes all your phone's data!

New Installation not work / White screen.../ iMAC
Hello , i hv this iMac : iMac 12,2, Quad Core i7 , 3.4 Ghz , 8 MB Ram , SMC Version 1.72f2 , HDD 500 GB , Serialnumber xxHJW.
I make a new installation snow leopard with the gray DVD ( no backup because all my datas on a server ) include all updates . Yosemite runs one time.
After reboot i see white screen . Nothing more. I reboot . Check with safe mode and a lot more… nothing happened .
Than i put out the hard disk and format ( i take this how to Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard: Löschen und Installieren - Apple Support )
them on my macbook . After I take it back in the iMac . I Test Internet Recovery (CMD + R ) , boot from DVD / USB boot Stick Maverick...
Nothing , every time is see the apple + rotating circle , after than a white screen and nothing happened. I check them with a new

ALT +CMD+ P+R , ALT +CMD +N +V --> i do…
I installed WIndows 7 Professionell --->> all ok , no errors
I make a USB Start Stick for maverick , when i start with them i see a blue screen .
I do a --> OS X Recovery Disk Assistant v1.0 from here -->> OS X Recovery Disk Assistant v1.0 -->> nothing happend --> apple symbol , rotating circle,
after than white screen …
Any person has an idea ??

My macbook doesnt work ---- blue screen
i cant get in my macbook air because ther us a blue screen ! please help me!!!
Had exactly the same symptoms: Normal start but instead of the desktop building up just a blue screen!
Repair via disk utility was one measure but did not solve the problem. Sould you have a second Mac start the Mac Book as fire wire HD ( press and hold T during start), connect it via firewire to the other Mac. It should appear as an external HD on the desktop! With "command + i" you can check the HD infos and the user rights!
Make sure all say read and write! The box next to "ignore owner..." should be ticked!
To make 200% sure that everything works on the next start up you can create an additional account for user "unknown" with read and write permissions!
After that pull the HD (i.e. your MacBook) into the trash bin, disconnect the fire wire cable and shut down you Mac Book by holding the ON/OFF for about 3 sec.! Now you are ready to restart! Good luck!
PS: If you don't have a second Mac - find a friend with one or try a store selling Apple equipment! -
2nd display won't work - white screen
I know this is an old issue, but I cannot find the answer anywhere on this or other discussion boards. I fixed the problem last year, but I have't had the second montior hooked up until today. I know there was a "sudo chown" type fix for this in terminal mode, but I can't find it.

G4 Desktop 500 Mhz Mac OS X (10.3.9)so do you have 2 different video cards driving two different monitors? or is it One video card with 2 displays?
the info you listed isnt very detailed but it does tell me you got an ATI video card with 16MB VRAM.
I assume that thats the Stock AGP 2x graphics card that came the The PowerMac G4 AGP graphics model.
why is your display set to 8bit depth? a stock 2x AGP card with 16MB VRAM should be able to support 16bit or 24bit depth even at 1024 x 768 res.
the info says also Core image not support as well as Quartz Extreme no supported. Which is significant because it could be why the 2nd Monitor doesnt display properly with Tiger.
under 10.2 there were less stringent requirements for driving video.
OSX 10.4 Tiger is much more advanced OS and has higher graphics cards requirements now.
I could be wrong, but I think you may need a newer video card that supports Quartz Extreme and Core image.
hopefully someone else will run by this topic and offer some insight aside from my own. -
Ipad is stuck with the pop up of:
Not enough storeage. This ipad cannot be backedup because there is not enough iCloud storage available. You can manage your storage in settings. Gives the option to click on close or settings. Neither option I can click on nor can I power off.That behavior occurs from time to time. If you fail to backup your iPad with iCloud on a regular basis you may also get a message to that effect and that message may also freeze your screen and prevent you from using the iPad. When that happens, you have to do the same thing that you just did, reset/reboot the iPad.
You can prevent the "you haven't backed up this iPad" message from popping up by backing up on a regular basis. The only way that you can prevent the other message from popping up is to purchase more storage.
What can you do to prevent those messages from "freezing up" the iPad, As far as I know - nothing at all. It seems to be some type of quirk in the settings that affects some users from time to time. Read the "More Like This" box on the right. There is no setting that you are missing. -

- Try another cable
- Try on another computer

Delete Airdisplay, iScreen, etc to solve drag and drop, white screen, etc issues
Deleting the screensharing program (in my case iscreen, guess airdisplay, etc are the same) did solve all my issues -- as mentioned before drag and drop did not work, white screen in several programs, not menu bar in full screen, etc.
Lion is now running smoothly - so everybody having the same issue just delete airdisplay and co :-))))))I would:
a) check on the email provider's website to check if it had copied there, and deal with it. Your mention of bandwidth implies this is an IMAP-connected account.
b) close Thunderbird, open its [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-tb?esab=a&s=profiles&r=1&as=s profile] and delete the offending folder there. You need to browse your profile for a while to understand its structure before doing anything rash.
On the whole, I discourage users from dragging folders about as you have done. By all means drag the ''contents'' (better yet, use multi-select, then right-click and "copy to" or "move to") but moving ''folders'' is IMHO an undefined operation with unpredictable outcomes. I've heard of users moving a folder from one account to another and finding that it still associates with (i.e. "belongs to") the original account. -

Let the battery fully drain. After charging for an hour try a reset (may not work).
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Then connect to your comnputer and try to restore.
- If the screen is still white then it appears yu have a hardware problem and appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -
