N82 Battery failure!anybody help...???

Hi ,i bought a N82, 2 days bfore.the battery charge is very poor.i have to kept it for charging evry day.that means one full batteery will last for one day only!!!!!!is this is a common problem of N82??can any body help me in this matter?

Battery needs in N82 needs a thorough overhaul given the phone is feature loaded. Lets hope with firmware fixes whether Nokia is able improve the power management and increase talk time & standby time.

try contacting your carrier and see if they can resolve the issue.

Place the iPod Touch into DFU mode. This will be similer to what the factory would do to install the iOS onto new iOS devices.
Placing it into DFU mode will allow you to "format" and install the current iOS for that device.
To place your iOS device into DFU mode.
First connect you iOS device to you computer.
Open iTunes if not already open
Now turn off your iOS device using the power swipe.
Press the home and sleep button on your iOS device for 10 seconds.
Release the sleep button but carry on holding down the home button. For another 10 seconds.
Your iOS device should now be on DFU. Click on restore and iTunes will download the lastest iOS for your device.
Hopefully that sorts it if not, you will have to go to a sevice centre or call Apple Care up and get them to collect it and repair it. (replace it)

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

It's just the battery sign - nothing else. I've tried to reboot by holding down both power and home key for 10+ seconds, waiting for the apple logo - but nothing happens. It's plugged into the imac at the moment. I tried to recharge it overnight using the normal charger - but no luck. It went dead during a Skype call with a friend - even though it was powered into the mains - albeit at a low battery level at the time

Happy, Happy Day! With only the opposite of help from Apple Inc., and in reality thanks to the assistance and encouragement of my BFF IRL and your good self, my grand old MacBook Pro Kallisti has risen from Hades once again, and sprung back to life – and this reply is coming at you from her very own keyboard and net connection.
My non-Apple replacement battery and a second-hand power adapter from TheBookYard.com in Liverpool arrived on Tuesday, and with the swapping in of an unblown 3A fuse, all is as well again as it was before Apple’s design-flawed A1189 battery killed Kallisti for the second time.
What I’ve neglected to mention so far is that in early 2014, the screen began to fail intermittently, then with increasing frequency, until only via a DVI-HTML cable to my 50-inch TV could I see what I was doing at all. Yesterday the screen was working again initially, but only for a couple of hours, before failing to black again.
Seems this is yet another well-known and well-documented fault with all the MacBook Pros that use the NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics processor – see, eg: Apple’s (also prematurely terminated) ‘MacBook Pro: Distorted video or no video issues’ » http://support.apple.com/kb/ts2377 . I’ve a shed load of reading up to do on this issue from all over the web, including what appear to be some possible DIY fixes. There’s plenty of free web-based help and advice on reporting dodgy traders like Apple to the Trading Standards authority, and pursuing reparations from such lawbreakers through the small claims track in the civil courts. So now I’ve Kallisti back up-&-running again (albeit with a dead screen), on which to document my anti-Apple legal research, I’m taking my time to ensure I’m following due process, and relishing the irony of developing a suitable regulatory/legal punishment for Apple on the very ‘vintage’ flagship MacBook Pro which their offending policy has all but written off as obsolete. Plus, since it turns out its “Super”drive won’t eject a freshly burned DVD-R, I’ve ordered an Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 32-bit DVD to do a fresh unibooting install on my 2001-design backup PC notebook, to add some non-Apple computer robustness to my resources, until such time as I’ve saved up enough for to buy a purpose-built touch screen Ubuntu 14.04 LTS notebook, such as the System76 Darter UltraTouch (» https://system76.com/laptops/model/daru4 ); and that leaves plenty of time ahead to compare the long-term customer support reputations of potential Ubuntu PC manufacturer companies, to ensure that I don’t get taken for a fool by another Apple-like mobster-type corporation.

Have you attempted to reset the SMC? That would be the first step. Hold the left control, option, shift key and the power button for about 5 seconds and release. Then try to reboot. Might as well reset the PRAM as well. Hold command, option, P, R on start up until the machine restarts. If that doesnt' have any affect we'll have to dig deeper into a potential hardware failure.
If this method doesn't work, check the webcam that will tell the problem is on the iSight & WiFi cable. If your webcam is ok, then it'll be the WiFi card problem. Hope it can help ;-)

IPhone won't turn on... possibly a sudden battery failure?

Hi,
So my iPhone was working fine, i received a call, put it down... but next time I go to check something I push the home button and nothing happens.
I've tried turning it on - nothing, charging it - nothing, taking the sim card out etc - nothing.
I tried calling too, and just goes to voicemail.
I bought it off a work colleague as a replacement for a lost one, so I have no idea of the serial number, and its definately out of warranty.
Any idea what the problem is? Feels like a sudden and total battery failure, but I don't even know how I'd get that sorted/replaced!
Please help me someone!!

Does it charge if you connect to the adapter? If yes, let it charge for about 20min. then connect in recovery mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

You could always check to make sure itunes is updated to 10.7 but im sure gdgmacdude is

Premature CMOS 2032 Battery Failures

There have been many reports in this forum lately concerning premature CMOS 2032 battery failures.
If there truly is a common CMOS battery problem with MSI systemboards
we need to start to find the solution by identifing what vendors battery is failing and on what boards.
My mobo is MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum (G52-M7125X1)
My original CMOS battery was a KTS Lithium CR2032
It lasted about 1 month then the systemboard failed to POST.
I replaced it with a Energizer Lithium 2032
It has worked for a week so far.
The 2032 is a Lithium-Manganize Dioxide 3.0 Volt Button Battery.
It is designed not for recharging.
Life expectancy is least 2 to 4 years
A new 2032 battery unused and right out of the package measures 3.26Volts DC.
The new 2032 battery in the motherboard with AC power on, measures 2.97 Volts DC.
A defective KTS CR2032 battery out of the motherboard for days measures 2.97 Volts DC.
A defective KTS CR2032 battery in the motherboard with AC power on measures 1.41 Volts DC.
I used a Fluke Series 77 Digital Multimeter for the measurements.
My Phoenix-Award BIOS Version 1.4 - PC Health Status of the good Battery = 1.66 Volts
I have no idea what that means other than the BIOS is not reporting accurate battery voltages.

I have the exact same problem. I have not changed anything. This is probably a bug or something that has gone bad with Mac OS X (10.7.2). I have not found any solution for this on the web.
