N82 - cut music to transfer as ring tone

hi, i'm having problems to cut some music so that i can set as ringtone. at PCSuite i find the option to move the file, but only the complete music.
Anyone can tell me how i do it???

You can't cut mp3's on PC suite.
I use mp3 to Ringtone GOLD program but there are many others.
Do a google search on Mp3 cutters.

Music as ring tone

I just bought the Nokia 6500 slide phone and wish to know how I can select music stored in the phone music library as my ring tone.Kindly advise.

Use the phone browser to look for any music you like as a ringtone, in the option select make as ringtone. But you have to bear in mine that only the first 30 seconds more or less portion of the music will be played.

HT1386 How can I sync ring tones previously purchases

I purchase a new i phone 4. But I can not transfer 2 ring tones previously purchased. They are not listed under tones. The only way I see them is when I enter my acct info and look at all my purchases.

Resolution
To resolve the issue:
Make sure that "Sync ringtones" is selected in the Ringtones tab for your iOS device in iTunes.
Sync your device and allow the sync to complete.
If still unresolved, deselect "Sync ringtones" and click Apply.
After the sync finishes, select "Sync ringtones" again and click Apply.
If not
Check to be sure they are really ringtones and not just music files that can be converted to ringtones. To check, right-click on the files in iTunes, select Get Info, on the Summary tab they must say Kind: Ringtone. Video clip for a ring tone

Can anyone please tell me of a way to edit a small clip of either a movie or a music clip for a ring tone, so when my friend rings me it plays the clip rather than just the tone.

You cannot have/use a video ringtone. You can extract the audio track from a video clip with shareware, etc., and use iTunes to make that into a ringtone.

Setting up ring tones

I am trying to set up a ring tone that I purchased, it's not of music but just a ring tone. I had it working then I did the new update and purchased another ring tone and now I can not find the ring tone except when I go on iTunes. I can only find the most recent ring tone I purchased under my ring tones and I have synked my phone a few times and no luck? Help this is driving me crazy! I went to purchase the ringtone again from my iPhone and it said that I have this ring tone already so I know it's there, can some one tell me how to find it and set ring tones after purchase if u don't assign it right from the time of purchase. Is it possible to transfer a ring tone from a Sony Ericson 800i to a Nokia N95 8Gb and N96?

you may well transfer all your ringtones from your sony to your nokia, nokia is able to play most of the formats. but if you wanted to do that vice-versa then it could have been a problem(because nokia prevents sending of protected files)but in your case you can do that with a breeze!

There no ring tone on my 4s earphone , when someone calls ring tone only come out from the phone itself n not from the earphone from apple . there only a prompt if there a music playing but not ring tone.

Follow advice in jimmyireland post but you do have to scroll quite a way down this screen to reach "Keypad tones", which is the seventh one you reach!

Ring tone trouble...

I recently purchased about 10 songs from iTunes this weekend that I was planning on turning into ring tones for my phone. Naturally, I made sure they all had the ring tone symbol at the iTunes store. Upon downloading them and getting them in the library, they no longer had a ring tone symbol and therefore I couldn't cut them to make them ring tones. Any suggestions?

There's been a weird bug as of late in iTunes. Just right click on one of those songs and select "Create Ringtone". The ringtone symbols should re-appear.

I can no longer sync music, books and ring tones

I recently updated my iTunes, and something has changed. I can sync music and audio books - but it erases my ring tones. I noticed this, and attempted to sync my ring tones -- only to lose all of my music and audio books. I have the "manually manage music and videos" box checked (though the check keeps disappearing). This is so frustrating! Anyone know what's going on?

I have purchased actual ring tones, not songs or MP3s, RING TONES. They used to be on my Iphone but when I got a new laptop and downloaded new ITunes, they are showing up in Itunes in RINGTONES, but will not transfer to my iphone. They are checked. Help?
