N82-music player stops!!!!

when I tried to listen my music via my earphones from Nokia it stops and no key works even power key!!!then it restarts itself!!
Help me plz!!!

Nokia music player stopped working

I have a Nokia 5500 sport and I have recently put a 2 Gb micro SD card in it. Before I had a 1 Gb micro SD and everything worked just fine. But since I put in the bigger card the music player stopped working. It just closes and does not start up.
If I look up the music files in the phones exporer I can start the music from their but I cant enter the library from the music player. Whats wrong? I tried to remove the memory card and then it worked. Is a 2 Gb micro SD card too big for the phone?

I've the same exact problem! I can see new songs I added on file mgr. but I cant see them on music player and it SUCKS!!!!

NOKIA N82 MUSIC PLAYER BUG

IN FIRMWARE 35.0.002(N82) ->i start the player and he is blocking....and i need to restart the phone after that...in the screen of my phone after accesing the music player...he gives me something like "reparing corupt.......",after that sam thing!!!
I reminde my others problems whit this firmware: I had the older version and it was ok for my phone N82 (first version was good,i mean the first but he had bugs in other programs,and battery life,rotate speed sound....)i instaled the latest 35.0.002...and is full of bugs...i am so sad...because my camera doesnt worck on video...i press the buton and nothing...and to take a picture...i press the buton...he is starting the red light...auto focus....but no picture...(no xenon)!!when i select time picture(2sec,4sec)works to make a picture.....this is my mode to take a picture...and i have a frien with same phone....whoo has the same problem.......i don now what to think......i am proud about this phone...n95 five is litle child in face of 82/...!!!i love this phone.........make a new firmware for this phone....i cant takeit anymore....to use my camera like this!!!bugs on rotation screen..10-15 sec to turn back (normal),battery standby time is very low...i mention my phone is new.......!!and the flash player doesn integrate to work with the web browser to see youtube videos and others!!why nokia....doesnt make a NSU who permit to rollback to a older version of softwear(in cause the new one doesnt work corectly)!!!!

I have the same problem. "General: System error. Refresh stopped. 0 files added" after I try to refresh media library.

Just select all contacts (Options -> Mark/unmark -> Mark all) and copy to SIM card (Options -> Copy)

Howdy. My Music player has stopped working, but regular sounds and iTunes samples still work?? Can anyone help.
Push the orange music button and the player opens, but when I push the play button nothing happens other than the pause icon comes up.
Both side volume and the onscreen volume read at full.

-restore ipod to latest ios if problems still happenes then it's a hardware problem nothing like a good old appointment at genuis bar would help.

N82 Music Player

Hi,
I had a nokia 6233 earlier and the music player there was able to play all the files from a particular folder.
How do I do that here in N82?
Can somebody help?

If you have a memory card reader then copy all the contents (remember to include hidden and system folders) from the old card to the new one using your PC and you will keep all your downloaded maps and other data etc.

Music player stop while traveling (Lumia 535)

I am new in this community. I bought lumia 535 last month. I am quite satisfied with it, no touch issue, no heating issue. It's a good product. But for last couple of days I am facing a new problem, when I am travelling my music player getting stopped frequently. At home it's working perfectly. Am I missing something or it's a bug. Please suggest.

Installed OS6, and the music player stops when opening the web browser...

I downloaded and installed OS6 on my iPhone 4 last Thursday. It seemed to be working fine, and then at the gym while listening to music, the player kept stopping whenever I opened Safari. When I got home, I backed up and reinstalled the operating system. It seemed to be fine, but then today, the same issue reappeared. Has anyone had issues with the music player crashing when opening Safari or other apps on OS6

Hmm, looks like launching iBooks shuts down any background audio. Once iBooks is running however you can switch apps, restart the audio and return to iBooks. Provided you don't open a multimedia book like the Beatles Yellow Submarine freebie then you can read without disrupting the audio playback.
I've tried choosing different titles in iBooks, or just the library, then quitting the app, running some audio and starting iBooks again. It repeatedly pauses audio even when iBooks doesn't have any immediate use for the audio channel. As long as you don't actively shut down the iBooks app however you can choose some music as background when you are reading.

[N95] Music player stopped adding mp3s

It just happened, I normally add mp3s via mass storage and then rescan collection.
Now I tried to delete "private" folder, reformatting memory card, but music player is not picking up music anymore.
I don't want to format it again - are there any other solutions?

Unfortunately, I've tried that. However I don't know how to acces phones "private" folder, it's just one if you use it via usb cable. Maybe bluetooth?
I did reformat phones memory - it is the only thing that helped (still it is not fun reinstalling everything - backups are not perfect).
And also I'm using it for work now, I cannot really afford reformatting and setting up frequently

Music Player Stopped Working

I use the simple Quicktime Music Player to play mp3 music on my website.
However, when I was prompted to update Quicktime, the music player quit working. I think I have messed up the MIME association.
How do I fix that?

It could be corrupted data on the memory card that's causing this.
Does it behave in the same way if you remove the memory card?
If it works ok without the card you need to format the card and reload the music and try again.
If it still fails to work try a factory reset from the settings menu. If that fails then you will have to take it to a nokia care point for repair.

N82 Music Player Broken :(

Recently I accidentally pulled out the USB cable whilst transferring music. Since then the music player fails to add music on the micro SD card to the music player (though it can still be played through file manager).
Tried reinstalling the firmware to no avail.
Also, does anyone know why I can't upgrade the firmware on the phone from 10 to 11 (can't remember the other numbers). I've heard one thing about it being O2 and another about it being in the UK

Your memory card is probably corrupted. You need to format it.
As for the firmware it's because you have a network branded model. Most networks are very slow to approve new firmware for use, thats if they bother at all. O2 UK is one of the worst offenders.

Music player stopped working on 6085

It used to work just fine but now when I try to start the music player the darn thing freezes for a while then beeps then eventually....after a looong time goes back to the main screen. I have tried updating the firmware...it is now 5.03 and still does the same thing....ideas?

Nokia N96 music player stopped working?

I recently put some new music onto my n96 and then i went to play it on the music player but the music player won't work at all, i can't even open the albums,artists etc. I went to file manager and selected on of my tracks and opened it and it said unable to play file? It seems that my music player has dissappearred, can anyone help??

28days is your maximum for a replacement after that it's a repair. I know cause I've had the same problems spent over three days doing all the same things. just take it back & get your new one before it's too late.
I bought mine before christmas 18th Dec. took it back to Phones for you on sunday 31st. jan. we can only repair it.
even though it had never worked properly & i had proof of my emails to nokia the answer was still the same & that Phones for you should have been contacted not nokia as that was who i bought it off! now I'm without my phone for 2 weeks while nokia looks at it for me then i have to wait for Phones for u to get in touch to go pick it up.
Go change it if you have this problem.

Ovi music player stopped working after 2 weeks. Ca...

Dear all,
I have had the Nokia OVI player with comes with music feature working fine for two weeks now.
I am using a Windows 7 o/s.
All of a sudden when I try to open Ovi I am greeted with a blank screen sign in screen. All I can see is the Home icon, comes with music, sign in and join now options.
When I click on one of those buttons absolutely nothing happens.
I have tried reinstalling and reinstalling after deleting the MDataStore.db3 from the dataApps folder on my hard drive but still the same thing happens.
Please someone help! I feel cheated that I cannot download music when paying for this service.

I am having a similar issue. However I've had my airport express for over 3 years. Yesterday we had to reset the router as it wasn't broadcasting.
Today having same issue so we reset the router again. And now still blinking amber. When I go to the Airport Utility I can't even go to the Manual Setup as I'm getting the Error 4. Internet works fine as the router and modem are hooked up to my computer via Ethernet cable.
I did a factory reset and the AE is broadcasting again. but I can't get in to protect the network. And it's still blinking amber.
Any thoughts would be great.

No there is no way. The phone has priority over accessory functions. This is common knowledge to all that have these kinds of phones. If this is going to be an issue then get a dedicated media player without a phone. ALL devices do this, to include the iPhone.
Show the KUDOS button some love.... Hit that bad boy.... It don't hurt....
