N82 newbie issues on music, w2k etc..

Hi, Im happy owner of my new N82, but wonder about this:
1. How do I turn off the "phone" while playing music ( using rca cable to stereo/PA system) I dont want it to interrupt the music for ringing or sms coming in.
2. Why does it say " cannot connect" when I try to send stuff via bluetooth to my pc? It is recognized and I can freely move files workin from the pc. Its more handy sometimes to just turn on the bt-dongle and send the picture or whatever..
3. I finally found PC Suite version 6.85 on a download website out there,since I have W2k in my pc and Nokia dont provide anything at all that works on that OS anymore (which is pretty bad of them I think!!) Any of you guys have tips on more stuff that may be useful and works on w2k?

hi,
1) you can set your phone to "offline" Mode, the fastest way to access this is to briefly press the power button scroll down to offline, but do note that you won't be able to receive any calls or sms when on this mode...
for 2) & 3) i would suggest that you get the Nokia PC Suite 7, this is the latest one, and make sure to install the BT dongle driver 1st before installing the Nokia PC Suite. you might also want to have a clean installation of the NCPS...

I had this problem as well. This is what I found by searching online. I tried the fix on my nano 7th gen and it worked. I hope this helps you. Make sure to use two fingers for sliding and double-click the icons to get into settings. Good luck.
It would seem that Voiceover has been enabled on your iPod Nano. The following article contains information regarding Voiceover, and how to disable it once it's been enabled.

We have two iTunes accounts on one computer. Why is my music, apps, etc showing in my husbands account? Home sharing is NOT selected. This recently became an issue when we added additional devices. Now we keep getting each other's apps!

I have this same issu over the pass few weeks and it's getting on my nerve very badly. I've been trying to fixing and finding solutions over for weeks. This is terribly disappointing!

TS2776 Updated iPhone software and lost all my contacts. Previous updates worked fine. Phone backed up, installed software and the music, apps etc, but no contacts. Have tried several times but no data at all. Any ideas?

Contacts are made to be synched to your computer or a cloud service. There is therefore no NEED to include them in your backup. Same reason iTunes media is not part of the backup. It's already on the computer.

Hey guys. I bet this sort of question has been asked so many times, but i really have spent a long time searching google to get an answer. I have had no luck. I found many things on the subject, but nothing about this exact situation.
Okay, I have a Macbook 4.1 which has 2gb of ram, 2.1 GHz Intel core 2 duo processor, and a 111 gb HD with a rpm of 5400.
I have been having major CPU overloads whilst using Logic 8, And it is much worse when using Pro Tools 7.2 M-Powered.
Now, im not that knowledgeable with computer stuff, but I have a plan.
Im about to upgrade my ram to 4gb, and im getting a new hard drive that will be 320 gb and will be 7200 rpm and 16gb cache (whatever that means).
I believe that having a hard drive at 7200 rpm is pretty essential for music programs like these.
Now hopefully this will help me with the CPU, as i have found out I cant upgrade the processor as its soldered on.
Will this machine be able to handle Logic Pro 8 after the mod??
The real question i guess is: Is a "2.1 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo" processor enough to happily run logic 8?
P.S I will not be recording audio. I use the synths etc included.

111Gigs is a small disk
How much free space in your system disk?
when a disk contain files from over than 80% and only about 20% is free the speed of the hard drive goes down... some disk can loose more than 50% of fast addressing speed
Leopard require at least 50GB free space for run without problem!
for better performance up to 1/3 of the disk size should be required...

you use Logic with a Digidesign Drivers?
try to disconnect the Digi device and use Internal Audio of your Mac...
maybe only that can solve your issue.

I suggest you a 500GB at 5400 RPM
the 7200 Hard drive are not so good for stay inside Macbook chassis
the working temperature in a 7200 RPM disk should be cause slower speed than a more cool/fresh 5400 RPM
The temperature rise up if disk is full over than 1/3 of its capabilities...
(this rules are related with Disk performance but can be affected also CPU power in the real time processing because the system run on the same disk)
The hard drive temperature is strictly related with disk speed performance
and logic use a lot of streaming from to disc access for the EXS24 virtual memory and other Instruments and Synths...
*this can be the primary cause of CPU spikes*

Hi. I am having an issue with music on my IPod. It would probably be easier to explain my specific issue: I have songs by Band of Horses from Cease to Begin. When viewing my albums through cover flow, it shows Cease To Begin as two separate albums, one with only Islands on the Coast, and the other having Islands on the Coast with 3 other songs. If I delete the album with only one song from my IPod, it deletes the song from the other "album" as well. If I go to "All Songs" by Band of Horses, it only shows one Islands on the Coast, so it is not a duplicate issue. Also, in Itunes, it only shows one album. I just recently updated to iOS5 on my 4th Gen IPod Touch, if that helps.

Go to Settings/icloud. The Apple ID at the top of the screen is the only one you need to be concerned about. That one MUST be a working ID, and you must know the password for it, or you will be unable to use the phone if it ever crashes, you want to update it, or you want to sell it.

Hi, I recently updated to ios7, and am facing issues my Music app. I tried creating a Genius Playlist from my existing playlist, but unfortunately I could not create one as it keeps saying "the song does not have enough related songs to create a Genius Playlist". And now I am unable to undo this option and revert back to my normal playlist.

On the online tutorials I've seen it shows that when you create a new iTunes library it should open as a blank account, but that isn't happening.

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar

I have a desktop that operates using with Vista.
I downloaded 10.5 and sought to sync my two iphones and two ipads with the desktop in order to use ICloud. However I got warning messages that if I synced with this computer that had none of my extensive library of apps, music, podcasts, etc. would be on it, I would lose it all.
I did authorize the computer. I knew enough to do that but am terrified that I will lose everything that I have accumulated and still won't be able to use ICloud.
Isn't there a way to do this? Shift my library FROM my devices to the desktop?

This is a tedious solution, which is stupid! And some users report an inability to reauthorize a computer after an "en masse” deauthorization. I can’t believe Apple doesn’t provide a list or menu to find out which computers you’ve authorized! Obviously, APPLE knows (or else they couldn’t tell us how many computers we have authorized)--so why can’t they give us access to that information about our own computers??!!!
And for an already-authorized computer with a hard drive that’s since been replaced and upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite, would it be recognized as a “new computer” and require authorization? Would its previous incarnation (i.e., with the old hard drive and OS) be considered a separate computer? Some users report they can’t authorize a computer after an OS upgrade because of that. Can’t believe we have to do such a bass-ackwards kludge!
