N86 & bluetooth connection to Audi Car

I can successfully connect n86 to car and use phone to talk etc. However, when n86 connected to car bluetooth, I loose nokia maps voice instructions. Is there a way to have phone connected to car and be able to hear maps navigational voice through car bluetooth as well?

I have a 2006 A8 and had similar problems until I loaded the last iPhone update; Bluetooth is now rock-solid. Check with your dealer and make sure your car has the latest Audi updates. On my car, Bluetooth settings have a delay setting. Make sure that is turned on.

  • Iphone 3GS with bluetooth connection with Audi car kit

I connected my iphone 3GS to my Audi car system through bluetooth connection. The Audi system recognizes the iphone and his address phone and all works well.
The issue comes when I disconnect the iphone from the car kit. After, even someone calls me, the call ringtone rings only two times and after switches off during the incoming call. This issue is random, sometimes the alarm rings well, sometimes not by working in the way described above. Someone has the same issue and knows how solve it? Is an issue linked to hw or only sw?
    thanks

    Hi.,
Can I check with you if you have this problem..
I assume you have paired the iPhone 3GS to the Audi carkit.
First, play something on the iPod.
Then go to the Bluetooth settings page where you can see all the paired devices.
after that, make a connection to the carkit.
Is there any stuttering or audio breaking you hear from the carkit?
I have this problem with my iTech BluebandR headset and iSkin Cerulean RX. I only found this problem with iPhone 3GS but it worked fine with 3G.

  • Bluetooth connection with audi MMI iphone 4 drops after software update 5.0.1

    Hello,
After uptdating my iPhone 4 with software 5.0.1, I have problems with my bluetooth connection in my car (2006 Audi MMI). When I make a call or someone calls me, after a minute or so, the connection is lost for 10- 15 seconds, and then reconnects again. Pretty annoying.
    Someone got a solution?

I got the exact same problem. Noticed in the morning while hoping to check out the extra features.
Taking my lunch break now to research solutions...

  • I have an Iphone 6 plus. Can the bluetooth connect to the cars speaker system and a Garmin HUD unit at the same time?

I have an Iphone 6 plus. Can the bluetooth connect to the cars speaker system and a Garmin HUD unit at the same time?

    Hi,
Normally yes, Bluetooth can connect to multiple devices at the same time, so yes.
The only thing is that you'll be able to send sound/music to only one at a time, but I understand the Garmin HUD doesn't play sounds.
    cheers

  • Bluetooth connection to Audi A4 still drops after 2 months of trying everyt

I have a 2007 Audi A4 and paired my iPhone to it. The Phonebook transfered over and it works for the most part. However 9 times out of 10 the Bluetooth connection drops about 5 minutes into driving. It then picks up the connection a minute or so later. I do have it connected to a charger (which reduced the problem a bit).
I really don't want to buy a Bluetooth headset since I already have what is a perfectly working (and expensive) car system that paired fine with 2 other phones (Sony Ericsson T616, Motorola SLVR).
I'm becoming increasing frustrated, especially after a near accident when I had to pick up the handset and lower the stereo during a recent dropped Bluetooth connection.
The iPhone is brilliant, but this dangerous glitch is a deal breaker for me. I'm now seriously considering a Blackberry instead.
I tried everything over the past 2+ months including:
    - Bought and used 2 different iPhone car adapters
    - Installed all iPhone updates
    - Turned off auto locking
    - Kept the iPhone on the Phone screens (Contacts, Recents, etc.)
    - Turned off WiFi
    - Disabled Bluetooth until just before pairing
    - Restarted my iPhone prior to pairing
    - Restored my iPhone prior to pairing
    - Factory reset prior to pairing
Interestingly the pairing worked for the first day after each of the past 2 iPhone updates, but the problem came back on day 2. That's why I performed restores and resets (which didn't work).
    Any thoughts?

  • Ios 5.0.1 + Iphone 4 bluetooth connection issue with car stereo

My Iphone 4 will not connect with my new JVC car stereo I have spoken to JVC customer support and they say its an Apple issue that they need to fix (changed something with the bluetooth connection scripts in the latest update update, as they have done before).
The phone finds the stereo and then tries to pair with it, however half way through the pairing process the phone losses connection with the stereo and the pairing is then deleted.
I have deleted all the existing pairing in the phone memory and ensured that the stereo has been rebooted to ensure no conflict of previous installs would effect the process
Does anyone know if Apple are going to fix this glitch in a new softwre update (and if so when is it being released) as at the minute i have an expensive stereo which is cant use to its full ability?

Similar problems occured when Apple released iOS 4 last year. It was NOT fixed with an update from Apple. It was fixed by the system vendors and automakers releasing updates for their equipment. There are ongoing complaints from people with some Toyota built cars (Toyota and Lexus) with some systems as well as some BMW drivers.
I'm willing to bet money that the head unit you have is not fully standards compliant. Unfortunately, getting JVC to admit that is going to be nearly impossible. I suspect they will just quietly issue an update sometime in the next few months. Assuming the head unit can be updated by the end user at all.  You may have to resort to an inexpensive visor mount speaker phone in the mean-time.

  • Bluetooth connects fine to Car but no sound.

    Hi,
I had that BB pearl 8220 for a while now. Bluetooth worked fine in my car for about 6months. (Since I have the phone I guess...)
But now for some reason I can't hear/can't be heard when using it.
The radio works fine, I have tested it with another phone so its not the issue.
The phone is paired fine, I can make/receive calls but like I said, no sound on either end.
Pulling out the battery did not help, I have checked the volume when in a call, it is at max and not muted.
I tired unpair/paring again... No joy.
I pretty much checked every setting I could think of and for once... google did not help.
I am puzzled as it worked fine for a long time, I would test it with another bluetooth device but I don't have one and I doubt it would work either since the radio is just fine...
I don't really want to try a full wipe but I will if no one here can help me.
Anyone has any idea what the problem could be?
    Thanks,
    InFlames

Ive experienced exactly the same issue with an 8900 pearl.  The handsfree bluetooth connection has worked fine in my Nissan Navara, but just bought a new vehicle and had a Clarion nx509e stereo, sat nav unit installed.  The blackberry connects to it with no problem, when receiving a call the stereo cuts the music and shows 'telephone interrupt' but with no sound.
No-one has been able to help other than say that Blackberrys are troublesome.
    What next?

  • Bluetooth connection with my car OK but receving time asking hand set. it should go direct bluetooth

I am using bluetooth in car and call incoming time it is asking to connect bluetooth. It should automatic goes to bluetooth and if don't want that time i can slect to heandset.

Fortunately, my S3 has no problems pairing, connecting and reconnectiong with my Acura MDX (06) Handsfree Link and a Dual BT aftermarket unit I installed on the other car. Also, both my cars have generic OBDII BT adapters adn the Phone connects simultaneously to both the audio, hands-free and the OBDII (via Torque) without any issues or hiccups.
WiFi and Cell signal are another story  - where other devices have no problems connecting, the S3 struggles to maintain WiFi and Cell signal. Hopefully, they will fix that with a software update.

  • Bluetooth connection issue with car stereo

    Hi,
I have a N8-00, with the current belle software on it.
With my car Bluetooth it will connect and function properly when I first add the device (N8) to the car Bluetooth, but if I turn the ignition off and then back on again it won't pair, if I try to manually do it, it just comes up with error without a code.
Deleting the device and trying to re-pair it wont work unless I restart my phone, and I am unable to turn Bluetooth off on my phone until after restarting it.
    This is getting very frustrating.
    Please help!!

  • 6730c Bluetooth connection to SAAB Car bluetooth

Hi, I've just got a 6730c, which I've tried connecting to the SAAB hands free car kit via Bluetooth. My old Nokia works fine, but the 6730 appears to connect, but disconnects again within seconds. I've tried several times, clearing the connections on both the car and the phone. but the result is always the same, yet the older Nokia connects first time and works well.
Am I missing something obvious?, surely it should easier than this!.

In case anyone is interested, I've managed tofix the problem.SAAB have an upgrade which when loaded has resolved the problem. I managed to get under warranty, but apparently its £50+otherwise.
I would like to thank Nokia technical support, who I emailed. The only response was the automated email promising contact within 48 hours, obviously must be in a different time zone to me, thanks guys!
