N900 not updating Hotmail account

Hello,
I have successfully set up my hotmail account to send and receive emails but I cannot for the life of me get the following to work...
Sent email from N900 showing as sent on PC
Read email on N900 not shown as read on PC
Deleted email on N900 not shown as deleted on PC
Folders not shown
It looks like there is no synchronization between the 2 but it works whichever PC I use!!
I have been through the different topics and although a few people have mentioned the same thing I cannot find a definitive answer.

I believe Hotmail is not IMAP so you won't get folders. You only get folders with Gmail or AOL who are IMAP capable. Gmail with IMAP is working flawlessly through the N900.
I can't get POP3 for Yahoo to work either and Nokia did call me (I submitted an email request.) It's busted and they are fixing it - should be in the next firmware upgrade. So you can send/receive mail with POP3 (which I believe is Hotmail) but that is it until it's fixed.
As far as "deleted messages" from the N900 being deleted off your computer - that isn't going to happen unless Nokia changes the settings. Right now (and currently not working) is when the N900 pulls mail into your N900 inbox they will be deleted off Yahoo/Hotmails server - if you select that box. It will happen for the inbox pulling of the mail... so keep that in mind. NOT after you delete them off the phone. I understand that is a bummer because Outlook and Windows Live mail ALL have the ability to "delete off server when deleted from trash"... but right now that setting isn't available.
So in the end... managing your mail with a POP3 setting from the N900 will be diffiult - if they stick with the current settings - even when they work.

Territory not updated in Account even account data satisfy Territory Rule

Hi,
I am working on territory management and am able to successfully establish relationship between Accounts & Territory. I can see the terrtories to which account is assigned under 'Territories' assignment block on Account overview screen.
But now if I create/ change any account data(which was not satisfying territory rule earlier) to match the territory rule, the territory is not updated even after running the report 'CRM_TERRMAN_PROC_REL'(delta).
E.g. Suppose We a territory 'ABC' with territory Rule for all accounts as- postal code between 20000 & 30000. and this rule is already released.
Now when i create an account with postal code 20569(or change an existiong account with some other postal code to a number between 20000 & 30000), It should be assigned to this territory ABC. But this relationship is not established at all even after report 'CRM_TERRMAN_PROC_REL' is executed.
Please suggest if need to implement any SAP Note or any configuration/customization is missing to achieve this functionalty.

Please be advised that when territory rule contains sales area attributes, ONLY sales area relationships are build up an NO accounts relationships are built.
To build up account relationship you need to use BP attributes in your rule, so please check that you have done this, and then run the report again.
Account relationship will show all accounts that fall under thisterritory and it will not consider the sales area attribute, therefore
it will not be filtered based on the sales area attribute that you mention.

HT1694 iPod will not verify Hotmail account. Please help!

Hello! I am trying to add my MSN Hotmail account to my new iPod Touch. However, every time I try to put in my address and password, it says it cannot be verified. I don't know why. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Now by "remedies", do you mean what the apple people say, or what we say? Because i know that i fixed mine by just hitting it a couple of times on the bottom and side. but PLEASE be careful. i just hit it into my palm. dont slam it on a hard surface - you could risk breaking it or moving something in the iPod that shouldn't be. Hope it helps. If not, then you will have to pay $30 shipping to send your iPod in. Instead of doing that, i suggest getting the Apple Care Protection plan. Yes, its more than $30, but it will help you in the long run.

Cost Center not updated in accounting documents generated in SAP RE-Fx

Hi Experts,
I'm facing an issue wherein I don't see the cost centers getting updated in the accounting documents generated from RE postings.
Pl. note that the appropriate cost center (relevant to the cost center) is maintained in the rental objects.
What is the customizing settings I'm missing out due to which I don't see the cost center updated in the accounting documenmts?

HI Shantanu,
As far as I know, in RE-FX we can post the cost to the RE object directly. All the objects in RE-FX (i.e. BE, BU, PR, RO, RECN, SU, etc) are cost objects in themselves. However, to post the cost to Cost centers you will need to run the CO settlement. Again CO settlement rule is available in all these objects.

Yosemite did not update my accounts using iCloud on MacBook Pro Retina

I just did a full restore with Yosemite. All went smooth until it came time to look for all of my email/calendar/messaging, and contacts accounts. Only Apple's iCloud account, not my Gmall, Yahoo, etc showed up to the dance. I had to manually reenter them . My Safari passwords were present though. The accounts on my iPad remained unchanged after the reentry. I am wondering why this occurred and how will this affect my iPad in the next day or so if at all. I never had this problem before with any other Mac OS.

Spoke to Applecare. They said Yosemite is losing the data stored when migrating from Mavericks to Yosemite regarding other accounts. The other accounts are not populating when moving to Yosemite in many cases, not all. They know it is a problem.

How to delete emails on BB Z 10 and not on Hotmail account?

So I have been trying to figure out how to delete emails on my BBZ10 so if I let someone use my phone they will not be able to snoop at my emails. When I delete them from my BBZ10 they are deleted from the server too. Is there a way to delete them on the phone only? Or is there a way to just password protect just the email account? That would be neat, password protect just one or two applications instead of the whole phone. Password protect Facebook only, Twitter only or an email account only.

deleted emails are also deleted from the server (no more BIS).
I don't believe that you can password protect email access. The password gets stored at account setup. If you change the account password, I believe that the Z10 will ask you for the new password. I don't know if you will have the option not to save it though.

Unable to open any folders in my HOTMAIL ACCOUNT inspite of logging in it

I am able to log in to my HOTMAIL ACCOUNT, from the mozilla firefox. But unable to open or read or forward or delete any of the emails from the inbox and all the other folders. It seems there is a problem on the mozilla and not the hotmail account. Appreciate your quick help to access the emails.

Most folders not updating from hotmail account

Recently installed Outlook 2013 as part of Office 2013 Pro.
Have tried to set it up with my hotmail account. Only the Inbox, Sent Mail and Deleted Items folders sync. The remaining folders do not sync and display the message "We didn't find anything to show here."
Can someone please explain! How is it possible that Outlook does not or cannot download all my hotmail messages?!

How did you configure your Hotmail account in Outlook 2013? Generally, we configure Hotmail account in Outlook 2013 via Exchange ActiveSync protocol. We should type the following server in the Mail server field:
m.hotmail.com
Please first make sure you have configured your account correctly in Outlook.
If you have configured your account correctly, please also make sure the "Mail to keep offline slider" is not set to a short period. To check this, click File > Account Settings > Account Settings > double-click your account and check
if the slider is set to 1 month. If so, change it to All to see the result.

What type of account did you set-up on the iPad, POP, IMAP, the items on your iPad could have downloaded off the server or you will need wait awhile for the message to update to the iPad.

Aperture wont start , it needs an update and is telling me to log onto a hotmail account that no longer exists so I am stuck .I would even re-purchase aperture just to get up and running again but I cant do that either - help, I need these photographs !

Aperture wont start when I booted up this morning . There is an upgrade that it needs to install and I am being directed to log onto a hotmail account that does not exist to install it . I cant get any sense out of hotmail and the account has been deleted because I have never used it .

APERTURE was bought via the Apple On Line Store .
I kew there is an update cause when I clicked on updates , there was an update that I needed cause Aperture was not running as it should ie . it would not load
I am running Mavericks OS.
My Apple ID is the same as my email account but I have discovered that I have two Apple ID accounts and I could not remember my password on the one that I used to download the original Aperture - I have since contacted Apple and they have merged the two so Ihave sorted it out that way .
When Aperture would not start , it wasn't asking me to log onto my email account, it was asking me for my Apple ID which was the same thing but it was my emergency ID and I could not remember the password . Being enturely thick where computers are concerned , I got very confused and remain confused because having bought a new MACBOOK AIR , I find it wont recognise my back up hard drive or my AIRPORT so I am not having a great time with MAC products to be honest - cant get my business back up and running after nearly three weeks so Apple and MAC are not my favourite words !
Anyway, I did get it sorted finally by ringing Apple but thanks for replying anyway - it turned out that Aperture was the very least of my problems when my hard drive failed installing Mavericks - wasnt Mavericks fault, my drives have to work hard and it just died .

Ever since i installed mountain lion to my imac, I have not been able to update my iphoto. I keep getting software update alert, but when I go to update, I am asked to log into a hotmail account which does not belong to me, and which I obviously do not have a password to. Fortunately i was able to find a solution from a thread where someone asked the same question. I did what they Said, which was something to dó with spotlight, and Bingo it Worlked.

I asked a similar question earlier, and cannot find my thread. I had to chat with someone regarding an order and when I was done I discovered that I could log into my hotmail account, but could not to open messages.

I did all that was recommended by everyone that responded, as well as uninstalling firefox, running updates, then reinstalling firefox. My husband discovered that hotmail and IM are linked, and that IM never finishes loading in firefox. In IE8 hotmail and messenger work fine. I have found where these are linked in my hotmail account, but not how to unlink them. Any Ideas?

HT1430 My hotmail account can not receive on iphone 5

my hotmail account can not receive new email on iphone 5.
i added my hotmail account 1. then i receive a email which welcomes me. then i did some test, i was able to receive and send email. so i added another account 2 which is also hotmail.
This morning i realised that i did not get an email that i supposed to receive. i login my hotmail account 1 on safari and then i found out that i did not receive any emails for a few days.
i use sent a few emails using account 2 but my account 1 receive nothing. i did the same thing using account 1 however my account 1 received in a few seconds.
so i login my account 1 on safari again, and i received all the emails.
i restart my iphone but still can not.
i reset my iphone but still can not.
i delet my account and add again, but also can not.
i update my inbox , also can not.
so in conclution, my account 1 can not reveive email on my iphone app " MAIL" but can reveive when i login on safari.( both my macpro and iphone says that my browser doesn't allow cookies when i tried to logout on safari. i allowed cookies on my macpro but i dont know how to do it on iphone, but i think cookies is not the main problem.)

After a windows 7 update this past week, why can't I open emails at my hotmail accounts like I could before the update?

Up until a recent windows 7 update last week, I could access my hotmail accounts without a problem using Firefox. I can get to the hotmail site as before, but when I click on any link, e.g. emails, nothing happens. How can I resolve this problem? I can open the same emails using IE or Google Chrome (booooooo).

Same problem and I found a temporary solution download IE. Mozilla won't let me then someone else will . I am really sick of these crappy supposed upgrades that just make things worse! At this time Firefox, we need stability and dependability not another disposal piece o crap!
