  • How to join two tables and get the supply delivery date next to order?

So there are two tables. One has customer's order no, ordered date, order quantity, available quantity and code of article-
The other table comes form supply side where we have supply order no, article number, ordered qty, and delivery date.
We keep stock so this can not be MOT (made to order) system.
What i need is correct date of arrival to appear next to cusotmers spoecirfic order. The older cusotmers order get's the parts first, second oldest order is next in line etc.

There is actually a 3rd "table" and that sort of connects the two and that is stock on hand per art. code.
The main issue is that stock is assigned to purchase orders only when it actually arrives in the warehouse.
A human can easilly connect the dates of when the stock will arrive and quantities with correct customer's order. In this case the firts order will get 50 pcs in August while 10 pcs will remain on backorders. The missing 10 pcs Will arrive in October. The second order will get 10 pcs in october and 3 will remain on backorders with no delivery date. While the third customer orders does not have a delivery date.
So how to make the SAP do this calculations and display the arrival date next to date of customer's order?

I checked the instructions as i do not have access to this part. It seem this is a query. We had issues with queries in the past as not all codes from orders would appear in them. They never found the reason why that is happening.
However, I think the main issue is that the information here is not connected and is separately provided for supply and for sales. So i doubt it can be connected in this query.
edit: as you can see the only connection is stock on hand.
and total number of various items we have is close to 100.000 of various article codes.

I performed a time machine backup without plugging my labtop into a power source. My computer died and all the settings were changed, ie the clock and date were changed back to 2001. So I tried to restore my computer using a previous time machine backup. (which I now know was wrong). However, when time machine tried to restore it said there was not enough room to do a backup. It seems that it did a half backup because some essential  files such as system profiler are now missing. Can I undo this restore...? What can I do to fix this

You need to do a full system restore, per Time Machine - Frequently Asked Question #14.
If that sends a message, please note the exact wording.

  • Process runs in the background and shown as an icon next the clock (how to?

    Hi guys,
I have a program that runs in the background (a daemon). It refers to a database and make some calculations. If it's not activated, the database will lack some critical information. For this propose, I eliminated the closing option from the user (it's a gui); so if the user wants to close it he must terminated the application from the 'window task manager'.
Question: how can I place this process as a small icon next to the clock on the lower right side? I don't want the process to be shown on the taskbar.
    Thanks for any idea

The JDesktop Integration Components (JDIC) project aims to make Java technology-based applications ("Java applications") first-class citizens of current desktop platforms without sacrificing platform independence.
This demo application demonstrates functionality in the JDIC APIs org.jdesktop.jdic.tray package.
It creates a tray icon on the desktop (in the System Tray Area for Windows platforms, or in the Notification Area for Unix platforms), with a caption (text), an animated icon, and an associated Swing menu containing icons. It also has a tooltip displayed when the mouse hovers over the tray icon.

  • How can I add the date next to time in menu bar?

Hi, I'd like to see today's date next to the "time" on the right-hand side of the menubar. I called Apple tech support twice about it and no one could help. The last guy suggested I post the question here, and someone might know of a third-party app... I don't want a calendar on my desktop, I don't want to click anything to see the date. I want it in the menubar with the time. It would be so handy.

SOOO AWESOME -- THANK YOU! I spent over an hour on the phone with two different tech support people and they said it couldn't be done. Have to admit it's sort of a dodgy workaround, but thanks for the link, V.K, I am SO pleased! I was even able to add a couple of extra spaces to keep the time and date spaced apart. (Maybe the next OS can resolve this in a simpler manner...)

when i boot my ibook the clock and date keep changing?

If the battery is dead (or not installed), this will happen. The solution is to keep it plugged into the adapter.
Also, resetting the PMU may help.

  • How to increase the length of the clock signals on NI8451

I'm using NI8451 to read data from a linear technology ADC chip.
Using a scope, I found the clock signal only lasts for one byte (8-bit) during the read/write process,
ie. the clock signal is turned on for one byte period (8 clocks) and then is off for about 10-20us,
after that, the clock is on again for next byte.
Is there a way to change the length of the clock signal? In my case, I need about 96 clocks to flush out the ADC data.
But it looks like NI8451 only can generate 8 clocks one time.
    Any suggestion will be appreciated.

    Hi JHXU,
Are you using SPI or I2C?
With SPI, essentially the clock stops toggling when there is no more data transmitted. You could try implementing a delay in your data transmission to ensure that the clock runs for time you require. However, to add a delay, you need to use the Advanced 845x SPI functions. In CVI, the command for adding a delay is
    int32 ni845xSpiScriptDelay ( uInt32 ScriptHandle, uInt8 Delay );
More information on the SPI Advanced API can be found in the NI-845x Help or in this tutorial.
With I2C, I think you would just need to toggle the clock line (SCL) high. There is also a delay function in the Advanced I2C functions that may allow you to do this.

I installed openntpd and ran it in the background by putting @openntpd into the daemons array, the problem still persist after each restart
no matter whether rc.conf is set to UTC or localtime. I have to do sudo /etc/rc.d/openntpd restart and restart xmonad in order to get the correct time but even then, the problems comes up again the next time I restart
Rather than just a few hours in advance now, its about 1 day in advance everytime I restart

  • Change sysdate and keep the clock ticking

    Hi All
We wanted to test some reports which gets processed (there are other date based calculations while processing) monthly, quarterly etc and for that we wanted the sysdate to get changed to a particular date and then the clock should go ticking.
Is there any other way other than changing the OS date. Because of organizational issues we cannot change OS dates. We tried the FIXED_DATE, but the clock is not ticking after that.
    Please help
    Thanks in Advance

SYSDATE is taken from the operating system. If you reset the date on the database server's OS, Oracle will use the new date. Of course, anything else that runs on the database server will use the new date, too.

You might replace all references to SYSDATE in your code with references to a user-defined function, that returns SYSDATE plus (or minus) a constant. That will make your code slower, but that might not be an issue for testing. That probably will be n issue in Production, however, so change all the references to your user-defined function back to SYSDATE before moving the code to production.

Here's an example of the user-defined function:
    CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION my_sysdate
    (  in_dt  IN DATE  DEFAULT DATE '2013-01-01'
    RETURN DATE
    AS
--     my_sysdate returns the actual date and time (as returned by SYSDATE),
--     asif today started on in_dt.  For example, if it is actually 12:00
    --     noon on September 27, 2012, then
    --     my_sysdate               returns 12:00 noon on January 1, 2013
    --     my_sysdate (DATE '2012-09-01')     returns 12:00 noon on September 1, 2012
    --     my_sysdate ( DATE '2012-09-01'
    --             + (2/24)
    --             )     returns 2:00 PM on September 1, 2012
    BEGIN
RETURN  SYSDATE - ( TRUNC (SYSDATE)
                     - in_dt
    END;
/If you use SQL*Plus, you can define a substitution variable at the beginning of each sript, that tells whether you want to use the real SYSDATE or your user_defined fucntion.
    For example:
-- Only the last of these next 2 statemnts has any effect:
    DEFINE     sysdate_function = SYSDATE
    DEFINE     sysdate_function = "my_sysdate (DATE '2012-10-01')"
    SELECT     CASE
             WHEN  order_date > &sysdate_fucntion
             THEN  'Future'
             WHEN  order_date > &sysdate_fucntion - 7
             THEN  'This week'
             WHEN  order_date > ADD_MONTHS (&sysdate_fucntion, -1)
             THEN  ...
         END        AS order_date_grp
...When you're ready to move this to Production, just change the DEFINE statement at the beginning. No matter how many times &sysdate_function is referenced in the script, the specified function will be called. This will not hurt performance, because, when the code is compiled, it will be compiled with the actual (fast) SYSDATE when that is what you want.

  • OS X keeps "correcting" the clock

    Hi.
While being an exchange student i Lynnwood WA, i bought a Macbook Pro 13". And now, after moving back to Denmark, I can't make it show the correct time.
    I've tried this: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2538
But at step 4, there isn't a folder called "localtime" but a shortcut to a file in "/usr/share/zoneinfo/Europe"
And deleting the shortcut, dosen't solve the problem.
I've even tried manually setting the time but the next day the clock have reset and is once again 1 hour ahead

Have you tried changing different things in preferences?
In the "Language & Text" preference under Formats, make sure the correct region is selected.
In the "Date & Time" preference try unselecting the automatic option in both Date & Time and Time Zone. Or make sure the proper region is selected in both.
If all that doesn't work, try resetting the PRAM. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379
Other slight possibility is that your PRAM battery has problems. However, I'm not sure how to fix that. I'd call apple for that.

  • "Lisa" on welcome screen under the clock?

Last night, the iPhone had the word "Lisa" underneath the time - instead of the date. It's not the name of the iPhone.
Any idea where this came from? What it means?
This morning, the iPhone was back to showing the date underneath the clock.

Named for one of its designer's daughters, the Lisa was supposed to be the Next Big Thing. Aimed mainly at large businesses, Apple said the Lisa would increase productivity by making computers easier to work with. The Lisa had a Motorola 68000 Processor running at 5 Mhz, 1 MB of RAM, two 5.25" 871k floppy drives, an external 5 MB hard drive, and a built in 12" 720 x 360 monochrome monitor. Apple released the Lisa 2 in 1984. The Lisa 2 cost half as much as the original, replaced the two 5.25" drives with a single 400k 3.5" drive, and offered configurations with up to 2 MB of RAM, and a 5 or 10 MB hard drive. In January 1985, the Lisa 2/10 was renamed the Macintosh XL, and outfitted with MacWorks, an emulator that allowed the Lisa to run the Mac OS.

  • How do I get the clock to tick?

I want to synchronise an activity with the Mac clock. The easy way to do this would be if the computer would audibly tick every second. Sounds simple but I cannot find a way to do it. Can anyone suggest a solution? The answer is probably very simple.

    zanyjudy,
I don't believe there is any way you can set the clock to make a ticking sound. :/
What I do know is that you can set your clock to display seconds...I am not sure if this would help you, but here is how:
System Preferences > Time and Date > check the "Display Time with Seconds" box. The seconds should display in the menu bar next to the time. Hope it helps you!

  • How to 'Stop the Clock' for SLA when in customer action?

    Hi
Does anyone know if the functionality exists so that when a support message goes into 'customer action' or 'solution proposed' status the SLA stops counting down until the message is put back into 'in process'?
The SLA is out of your control when it is waiting for an action from the user so it should be possible for the clock to stop on the SLA automatically when this is the case and the SLA should re-start and re-calculate the new 'completion by' date.
I know that this is standard in many other types of Helpdesk software but can't find the way to do this with Service Desk.  Can anyone help?
    We are on SM7 SP22.
Thanks very much for your help.
