N95 2 e-mail account auto retrieve limit

Hi,
Does anyone out there know if there is a way around the 2 account "auto retrieve" limit on the N95 e-mail client. You can have more than 2 e-mail accounts but only two can auto retrieve..!!!! if you try to set a third to auto retrieve it says maximum "auto retrieve" reached.
Very strange!
Steve.H

Not sure, I don't use the auto retrieve, can't see any options though.
I guess most people don't need to do that for more than 2...
You could set them to forward to another, then just check that one? Maybe :s

Any body else having this problem?  Any fixes?

In mail, if you click on window, then connection doctor, what does it tell you about your mail accounts? If there's an issue, the receive and/or send status will be red .. green if OK.

  • Mail Auto Retrieval - Nokia 5800

    Hi,
Im having a problem with Nokia's Email App on my 5800XM. I just set up 3 mail accounts, but i can configure automatic retrieval only for 2 of them. Is it limited just for 2 account (auto retrieval)? Is there any way to increase this value?.
Hope you can understand my English.

Hi I'm sure someone can give a better answer, but I always thought you could only set up 'Mailbox in use' for auto retrieval ? You can , at least with hotmail, add other email accounts to your hotmail account, so if you did this then all your email would be retrieved on the one feed.
    Good Luck

How do I set up my Mac to auto retrieve mail from icloud?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
If you can't get your mail to work on Snow Leopard after June 30, you might want to try one of these approaches
    1. Configuring Mail in Snow Leopard
    2. Delete your mail account from Mail preferences and set it up again using the Mail Server Information.
Some users have apparently encountered issues using this information in pre-Lion set ups (I haven't), Roger Wilmut has kindly provided instructions for those who find themselves with this problem.

  • Cannot retrieve email from Mail account on iCloud

SInce Tuesday, Sept 11th I have been unable to retrieve my messages on my iCloud mail account.  Mail doesn't work on my MacBook Pro or any of my devices (iphone or ipad).  When I try to log on to iCloud I can see my calendar and contacts, however I cannot access my mail.  When I ran Connection Doctor I get the following message:
"Trying to log in to this iCloud IMAP account failed.  Verify that the username and password are correct.  Also verify that the server supports Apple Token authentication.  If it does not, choose an appropriate authentication setting in the Advanced tab of the Account preferences."
Mail continues to place this email account in an offline position moments after I click to take it online.
I've read some reports of others having this problem occur on Tuesday as well.  Is this an iCloud issue?  Please advise.

You can try deleting the account on your iphone and setting it up again.

  • Maximum limit to the number of e-mail accounts that can be setup

Does anyone know if there is a maximum number of e-mail accounts that can be configured on the iPhone 4?
I am trying to reorganise my e-mail accounts (also by creating some new ones) and would like to know if I can introduce all of them on the iPhone or whether I have to select just the most important ones. I am looking at 25-30 e-mail accounts.

I'm not aware of an email account limit.

  • HT4859 After the i-cloud server issue Nov 26, 2012, I had to change some mail account settings to get my i-cloud mail to work again.  However, all of my received e-mails are gone.  How do I retrieve my e-mails from the server?

After the i-cloud server issue yesterday, November 26, 2012, my i-cloud mail account on my Macbook Pro stopped receiving mail.  I changed some mail account settings to fix the issue, and was able to start receiving e-mails.  However, all of my historical e-mails are gone.  How do I retrieve all of my old e-mails from the server?

What settings did you change, what were the changes, have you visited www.icloud.com to see what mail is actually there? and do you have a backup?

  • Config  mail accounts in difference OUs have difference limit message size

Mail Server is installed by Netscape Messaging Server 4.15.In Directory Server have alot of Organizational unit.I want to config mail accounts in difference OUs have difference limit sended and recieved message size.
Ex: OU 1 ( acc1,acc2...) : I want these accounts only sended and recieved mail limit message size is 1MB
OU 2 ( acc1,acc2.....):I want these accounts only sended and recieved mail limit message size is 2MB
    Pls help me,Thanks

It's not truly obvious how to do it, but by configuring different channels for each OU (using rewrite rules), you can configure maximum sizes for sending/receiving messages. If it's quotas you're asking for, 5.2 doesn't do "domain-based" quotas for enforcement, but 6.0 does.

  • 5230 - why only 2 email accounts with auto retriev...

    Hi all.
Got a new 5230 Nuron a few weeks ago. So far: quite pleased with it.
With one exception: I have set up 4 email addresses. I'd like to set them all to auto retrieval; but the phone only lets me set 2 with that option. If I select a 3rd it tells me "maximum amount of mailboxes already automatically retrieving e-mails".
Is there a way around this?
    Thanks,

  • Mail hangs upon retrieving last mail from POP account

    Hi,
I have a problem with retrieving mail from a POP account. Mail seem to hang after the last new mail has been retrieved from the account. E.g, the activity viewer shows "Fetching 7 of 7", the progress bar indicates that all mails have been retrieved, but never completes. Pressing the Stop button next to the progress bar does not have an effect. Mail then indefinitly hangs in the "STOPPING" phase. In that state I cannot retrieve mails for other accounts, either. I have to force quit Mail.
Has anyone experiences similar problems and found a solution?
    Thanks,
    Sascha

Does your account have webmail capability? If so, log into your account that way, and deal with the offending message.

  • Multiple mail accounts hangs at retrieving

I have four mail mail accounts, one is my ISP mail and the three others are No-IP.com mailboxes. When retrieving mail and there are incoming mail, the No-Ip.com mailboxes hangs, the little spinning things next to the mailboxes stops spinning and Mail hangs and I have to force quit. I have to do this for every other incoming mail and they get retrieved at least twice.
When I only had two mailboxes this wasn't a problem. I have repaired permissions and run weekly scripts.
    Thanks!

If the HD is not partitioned, then this is certainly enough free space.
It may be a good idea to refresh the preferences. Quit Mail, and in the Finder open Home/Library and locate the Mail folder. Control-click over the Mail folder, and choose Duplicate -- then drag the resulting copy to the Desktop for temporary backup. Next, open Home/Library/Preferences and find the com.apple.mail.plist file and drag it to the desktop.
Relaunch Mail, which will open as though new, and when prompted to import anything DECLINE. Instead, re-enter your account info for each account, and Mail will re-discover the account folders for all your existing accounts.
Ask any needed questions, and keep us posted.

  • Installing a Google Apps mail account as an Exchange cause Camera FaceTime and Photo Booth to disappear from the Deskotp and are not retrievable. A deletion of the mail account returns the functions immediately

Brand ne iPad 3. Installing a Google Apps mail account as Exchange kills my Camera, Face Time and Photo Booth. They disappear from the Desktop and are nowhere to find or retrieve. Deleting the mail accoun t brings them back immediately. I have already full reset the device and updated the software with no result.
    Is there a solution?

Yep, Meg, you were right and here are the steps which cure the issue. Disable camera is actually a basic Google Apps setting .
Log in to your Google Apps Control Panel.
    Click on your 'Settings' tab.
Under the 'Org Settings' tab locate 'Mobile Settings/Device Settings'
    Enable 'Allow camera'.
    Save changes.
    Re-Install Google Apps E-mail account
    It works perfectly fine now.
Footy, my cat, sends you nice regards as well.
