N95-2 restarting when keyboard is used to start WL...

I have had this issue for a while now, but it was not until today when i figured out how it was happening
Every time I use my Nokia Bluetooth keyboard to start the WLAN wizard my phone restarts.
It works just fine when using the phones navigation buttons, even with the keyboard connected. But if I select the WLAN wiz icon and hit the return key or the selection key , the phone just resets itself
*and don't say, "just use the phones selection key"...lol*

Hi! First I would create a system repair disc. If you still have a problem, restoring back to factory will eliminate software and you can start finding what hardware is causing you this problem. Key Board or Mother Board would be good suspects.

Ok, so when I have my N95 8GB connected to either a line-out speaker or a blue-tooth earphone, the strangest thing happens. When I try to use voice-dial, right after I say the name I want to dial - the phone freezes. When I press any key on the phone, it restarts. It sounds like that where the phone stores the voice tags has become corrupt so that when the unit tries to access them the phone gets unrecognised data which in turn resets the handset.
Take the unit to yur nearest NSC for a software upgrade.

My BB Z10 Auto Restart when it isnt used

BB Z10 STL100-1 , software version 10.2.1.2977 / SO 10.2.1.3247 - its restarting when i dont use it, i wiped it, reistaled the software. I already brought it to the service 3 times and nothing happened, just a wipe and resoft. please help i really like this phone !

Based on your brief description, I'd have to surmise that perhaps your battery is somehow causal. To test, please try these items.
Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
Remove the battery
Wait 15 minutes
Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. Note carefully please that "new" and "know good" are not necessarily the same things. While rare, a "new" battery certainly could be defective. Rather, the simplest (and least costly, btw) method to conduct this test is to find someone with an identical BB who has no issues...trade batteries and see what happens.
Failing all of that and given you have already had in-person support, I'd have to surmise that your device is somehow damaged or defective. If you still have warranty, I'd therefore seek support under those terms.

IMac (Oct 2009) keeps shutting down and restarting when not being used.

At least once a day, usually when not being used, I will see a dialog box that say computer had to restart due to a problem. data in problem report does not clearly state problem - many multi-page entries
Have reinstalled OS 10.8.2 once
this morning tried to restart with safe boot and had spinning beach ball for more than 15 minutes. shut down and restarted nin recovery mode. verified and repaired permissions (all seem to be related to Canon Pronter plug-ins- had an error message yesteday asking if I wanted to repair printer software and I said yes). Printer seems to be working. Had one statement that indicated a screensaver issue-see below
a while back, iTunes album art screensaver hung up with just two album covers flipping in all rows and columns.
after a few restarts, it started working correctly again..- yesterday I set screen saver to never, but still had a crash this morning

N80 restarts when try to use uPnP

I have a N80 Internet Edition with firmware 5.0719.0.2 and I installed the Home Media Server application from the CD.
I use windows XP SP2 Professional and a Comtrend CT-536+ router.
But when I try to enter in home network in the Gallery, the phone restarts in 3-4 seconds, I think that when it detects the PC.
Also I have updated the Home Media Server over internet.
What I can do?

Problem is related with phone I think.
Can perform a soft reset or hard reset.

Touch pad buttons disabled when keyboard in use

when a key on the built in keyboard is depressed the left and right cursor buttons are dissabled.
the synaptics touchpad (7.5) menu allows "palm check enhanced" that stops acidental keypad touches whilst typing to be dissaled,but this did nt resolve the issue, this allows cursor movement when typing, but not left/right button press when typing
the settings appear fragmented and the help section useful only if you know the correct term for the issue you are expreiancing, so any assistance woul be apreciated

That normally happens when the person typing has inadvertently tapped the disable area on the touchpad.
I do wish I could have been far more specific, but you only gave a general identification of your notebook instead of the complete product number or product name.

N82 restart when tryine to use speed dial 1

Hi,
When i press and hold 1 to access my voicemail my phone restarts.. It just seemed to happn, no changes were made to the phone. I recently installed the newest firmware but it didnt fix it... Any ideas?

You could try doing a restore factory default settings. It won't delete any data of yours, you'll juet have to redo your theme, ringtone, wallpaper etc. settings afterwards.
Enter *#7780# from the standby screen and then supply your security code (12345 unless you've changed it).
I doubt it'll work but it's worth a shot.
The N82 was one of the first phones to have UDP, so maybe a reset might help.
Back up all your data to a computer using PC Suite and then enter *#7370# from standby and provide the security code when prompted.
Check to see if it works now. If it does, restore your data from the backup.
Try again.
If it no longer works then your data was corrupt. Reset the phone again and then restore everything but your settings. If it continues to stop working after a restore then repeat the reset and restore one less element of the backup each time until you narrow it down to the part that's causing the problem, then finally do a last reset and restore all but that element.
If none of the above work then you'll need to take/send the phone into your local Nokia Care Point.

Self restarting when keyboard opens - V41.2.010 - ...

My keyboard has problem which is when I want to type q,w,e,...,p it appears only numbers from 1 to 0 and I can type capital letter if I want to type q or w or e ... Etc. And others keys has same problem. (solved)
Another problem is sometime when I open the keyboard my Nokia C6-00 starts by itself, it happened at least twice after the update.
It happened after I updated to version V41.2.010 and the first problem I don't remember when it starts but I think it starts after the update too.

There is no thing like update 41.2.010 for nokia C6-00
Check again your software version or think before posting.

IPad restart when keyboard loading

Hey.
When my iPad is going to load the keyboard then it crash.
Spotlite Search crash ios, or in prorams where keyboard loads then the program is crashing...
Tryed to restore it, and it still do it, try also with my logitech keyboard connected, same result.
What can I do to awoid this?

Thats already done, not working...
Installed another firmware (ios 6.x.x) and after that itunes rejected it again.
Installed 7.0.4 again and now its working...

Mac restarts when using either firefox or safari

mac restarts when I'm using these browsers. I'm not sure what's causing it.
Removed add-on themes in Firefox.
Reinstalled firefox using default themes.
I did all these using Admin rights.

Open the Console Application and see if you can find the last messages just before your Mac restarts. Does it provide any details that you can post?

If it is a matter of VoiceOver being turned on when you press Shift-S, you can change the keyboard command key combo for that. Open System Preferences, select the Keyboard item. In the new window, click the Keyboard Shortcuts button.
In the left list, click Universal Acess. In the new list on the right, be sure the last item, "Turn VoiceOver on or off", is checkmarked, then click the command-key setting on the right of that line. A small text box will open - enter the new command-key combo you wish to reset it to.
Suggestion - the original setting for that is Command-F5 (that's the number 5, not the letter S). Unless you have a particular need to use Command-F5 for something else, I would reset it to that. If you do need to set it to something else, include the Command-key as part of the combo - doing so prevents accidental activation when using routine keyboard strokes.

DOA means different things to different manufacturers. For some DOA means it fails to work out of the box and will be replaced but if it worked out of the box and failed the next day it will be repaired. For other companies there is a liberal return policy - for Apple if you buy direct from Apple (online or an Apple store) you have 14 days to return. That means you can return a defective computer and then turn around and buy a new one.
(I had a store manager try to get me to accept a repair on a computer with a bad keyboard out of the box. I refused and insisted on a full refund if she wasn't willing to replaced it.)

I may have already resolved this issue buy removing the device from my computer and re-pairing it. It is currently working just fine.

LED TV 40TL963 restarts when using Sky remote!!

Hello guys, My 40TL963 LED tv has started to shut down and restart when we use the Sky remote. No matter which direct we point it!!!
Its never done it before. I have had this telly for over 2 years now and this has only just started to happen.

Did you try with a RESET of the TV set already ? (if you don't wanna loose your channels you should use the "ToshibaEdit" tool to avoid useless work for sorting afterwards, before you are doing this).
