N95 8G and iSync on Mac OS X 10.5.5 with plugin v2...

Question

I have just updated my Nokia iSync plugin to the latest, v2, and not I get no sync with iCal. I have read a bunch of postings regarding this, deleted caches, reinstalled plugins, reset devices, updated firmware, the lot, but I must have missed something.
By the way, everything was working great prior to the Nokia plugin update, and there has been no iCal, nor iSync update in between.
I'm willing to put up with you, if you're willing to put up with me.

It's a permission, or path issue. This is very common on Unix systems where some software cannot find a file, or doesn't have write permission for it. It comes from having a complex file tree, and programmers overlooking details because it worked on their computer. Someone forgot to consider that this file, or the other, may not exist on the target computer. At least, that's my opinion for the moment. More later...
BTW - sapporobaby, saying 'It works' is not more information. Are you just trying to sell the NovaMedia product?
1. Delete the pairing:
Open Bluetooth in the System preferences, select your phone in the Bluetooth device list (if it is there) and click on "Delete"
2. Switch off the phone (batteries out for a few seconds),
3. Quit all other programs (especially the Adress Book), then
4. Pair again:
Choose "Set up Bluetooth device...", select your mobile and pair the Macintosh and the phone. Click through all dialogs by "Continue".

This normally helps. If not, then reset the phone to Orig. phone settings.
Do not forget to authorize your Mac on your phone in Bluetooth settings.

I would also suggest to delete the preferences of iSync, address Book and iCal and then reset the phone to Orig. phone settings.:
1) /Library/Application Support/SyncService
2) ~/Library/Application Support/SyncServices
3) ~/Library/Phones/
4) ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.isync.plist
5) ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.AddressBook.plist
6) ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iCal.plist

Turn off Calendar Widget
/Library/PhonePlugins/*
~/Library/Application Support/iSync
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.AddressBook.abd.plist
~/Library/Preferences/net.wateree.Syncman.plist

The "~" represents the users home directory.
Then reboot your Mac and only then start the iSync (in other case iSync will not start).

Wow. Is going through all of this worth more than $12? What about "they work" is hard to understand. What additional info do you require? If you need more, then I suggest you write NovaMedia and see if they will let you look at their plug-ins. Most people here would be happy to know that there is something out on the market that simply "works". You aren't. With that being the case, I hope you get yours working the same way mine have worked from the very start.
