N95 8GB - Devicescape: Hotspot Framework Not Avail...

Hi
I was cleaning some applications including Demo games, etc., on my new N95 8GB.  By mistake I deleted Hotspot Framework. Now, when I restart a phone I am getting message: "Devicescape: Hotspot Framework Not Available"
How to reinstall it?

hey, the only way you can install a new language pack is by going to nokia care or talking to your provider about your issue. nokia care will change the language pack for a fee as your phone was not inteneded for the particular region that you want the language from namely poland. it will cost you a fee as this is not generally done, now every time you will update your phone and or reformat it you will lose your langague pack and it will default to the original language pack that the phone came with for your region. make sure that you have receit of purchase if you go to nokia care to get that done but first talk to rogers about your issue.
about the other issue i still have no clue. ..did you try to take the battery out for a few mintues and putting it back in and turning on the phone ? see if something changed?

  • E65 Devicescape:Hotspot framework not available

    Hi,
Since two days, mt phone had got locked up with this error
    "Devicescape:Hotspot framework not available"
The mobile switched off as it didnt have any charge. But strangely when I switched it ON after charging, I started getting this error message and the worst thing is that it had locked up the keypad... nothing seems to happen...
I am using three network 3G.
Can anyone help me out in this one?
    Thanks
    Harry

@chiefoo1 did you try to delete Devicescape and re-install it, already? By the way, the latest version 3 is called Easy WiFi. Not sure, if that is still supported in their discussion board because the whole website got removed. For which Wi-Fi network do you want to us that anyway? Because that app did not enable Wi-Fi tethering but made logging into existing Wi-Fi hotspot infrastructures ‘easier’. If you need that, did you consider HandyWi+?

I already tried to update software hoping it will reinstall Hotspot. I removed battery and inserted it back. Still now luck.
I think lack of Hotspot will restrict my access to wirelles network (which I have at home and in the office).
Is there manual process to reinstall Hotspot?
    Any ideas?

  • N81 8GB Phone memory is not available !!!

I am using N81 8GB. So far I know brand new N81 8GB has 16MB of free internal memory and somewhat 8GB of free external memory (where internal memory in the phone memory and external memory is the memory card.
Last three months it was asking me “Phone Memory” is out of space whereas I used only 2GB out of 8GB mass memory.  I installed everything in Mass memories. Recently it was asking me , Phone memory is not available. I used “OVI suite” with  cable and found 24MB already used 0(zero) space available. Then I deleted all programme, music, video and  and others from “Mass memory”  and formatted it. Even deleted everything except default program. Then I flashed the Mobile from OVI update suite. Version has changed but found 21MB is occupied out of 24MB. Now tell me what’s the solution to free the spaces?
I can’t receive more than 3 or 4 music (small) files via Bluetooth. It asks me to free the inbox space. So far I had total 10 text message (SMS) in inbox. Why it should ask me whereas I have enough memory( 6GB) in “Mass Memory” ?
    Is there any solution?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

At last my N81 8GB  Phone memory problem is solved by using the command
    First Step: Format phone (R E S 0 ?)>>>
    *#7370#
    Second Step:    Factory Reset (R S T 0 ?)>>>
    *#7780#
After contact address sync from OVI.com , Now Phone memory is
    7.48MB used
    16.9MB free
    total = 24.4 MB
Usefull help for N95 and N81 codes:

  • N95 8GB - Default Code 12345 Not working

I want to reset my phone to original factory settings and my phone does not accepts default code 12345, how can this issue be resolved.

post007, that is the case for some models but not all. On some FP1 based phones the hard reset actually reset the security code, I believe the N95 8GB was one of the models that this could be done on.
So it is worth taking grschinon's advice and giving it a try.
If it fails to solve it the only option is to contact a nokia care point.

  • Facetime and HotSpot features not available.

Got an iphone 4 as a gift from UAE. I cant find the facetime and hotspot features in settings. I am currently in Pakistan. I have read that UAE govt does not allow facetime so its not available there but there is no such restrictions in Pakistan. What do I need to do to bring those features in my iphone 4 now?

In chile is available because I have seen others Iphone4 from Entel or Movistar working properly with facetime. I have a Claro Iphone4, I have requested the solution directly to claro, they say the phone number is not reconized by apple so they keep sending an email to some support external area (from apple I guess) which suppouse to activate my phone number to work with facetime.. so far and after waiting more than a month still activation is unsuccesfull.
On the Hotspot issue, is not even listed in settings eventhough I have version 4.3.2.

  • N95 8GB WLAN PROBLEM (SERVER NOT FOUND)

HI, just got my new n95 8gb and tried connecting it to my home network,i find the access point and define the access point but when i try start web browsing i get error mesage "server not found".
    any ideas anyone?

That error message tells that your phone can't connect to a DNS. There are lots of causes for that & one is if your WIFI been configured with hardware address fitlering as a security measure. Try if you could put the primary DNS & Secondary in the configuration of your phone & check if it will work.

  • N95 8GB My phone does not recognise some stored co...

Hi somebody please help ! When receiving a text message from some of my stored contacts, instead of their name being displayed at the top of message, only their number is displayed, preceded by +447. I have tried deleting & re-entering correctly but nothing works. A clue maybe is that the problem contacts have 'syncronisation : private' added to the contact information but I do not know how to remove it (only to change it to 'sync : public' or 'sync : none'). Could it be anything to do with PC Suite ? I 've loaded the new N95 version recently. C'mon all you gurus, put me out my misery !

    Hi pj2008
Do you mean that you have re-entered a contact in international format (+44) and still get the same result when they call?

  • HT3574 do you know why hotspot is not available for ipad 2

ı can not do hotspot for ipad 2, how can ı enable it.

Apple chose to not make it a feature of the 2nd generation iPad.
There is no method that can be discussed here to change that.

  • Personal hotspot is not available in IOS 8.0.2

    Hi
I have a big problem with using my iPhone
When i was updated my iPhone's software to ios 8.0.2 , i can not create a personal hotspot point and share it to use 3G or LTE internet in other devices such as my iPad Air

    Hi sweetbrier13,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
To start troubleshooting this issue where you do not see the Personal Hotspot option on your iPhone, please follow the initial troubleshooting steps below.  If the issue persists, then please click on the link for further troubleshooting steps.
    Basic troubleshooting
See if your iOS device, computer, and wireless plan all meet the system requirements for Personal Hotspot.
Make sure Personal Hotspot is on: Tap Settings > Cellular > Personal Hotspot.
Check the Internet connection on your iOS device: Tap Safari and load a new webpage.
If one connection type doesn't work, try another. For example, instead of connecting using Wi-Fi, use USB or Bluetooth.
Turn Personal Hotspot off and on: Tap Settings > Personal Hotspot or Settings > Cellular > Personal Hotspot.
Install the latest version of iOS.
Reset your network settings: Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
If you still see the issue, restore the iPhone.

IIn ma I phone 5s personal hospot is not available

One possibility is that your cellular carrier plan may not support it. See the following and note that for some of the carriers you may have to pay an additional fee: Wireless carrier support and features for iPhone - Apple Support

  • To People Who Migrated from N95 8GB to N96; Are yo...

N96 has been on the market for a while now, and I just wanted to know, the N96 owners WHO USED TO OWN N95 8GB, are you happier or more satisfied with N96?
Especially, in gaming, are you more satisfied with N96's gaming experience?
    Thanx.

I'm far from happy with my N96 and wish I'd not bothered 'upgrading'. It's more a down-grade to what can only be seen as a cheap version of the ever so popular N95 and N95 8GB.
I'm not entirely bothered that non of the UK networks support DVB-H but it's the basics where the N96 is a complete let down... Firstly the build quality is shocking, cheap thin plastic which means the battery cover feels like its going to fall off at any second then there's the extremely poor battery life, sluggish text messaging, slow application opening, poor colour quality of the camera - not to mention the old System Error that pops up every now and then (even with up to date firmware) - well worth the £480 Nokia are charging for a sim-free version eh?!
If you do a spot of Googling you'll find thousands of unhappy N96 users!
