N95(8gb) Memory Problem (please help)

New here, so I hope I'm posting this in the right area of the board.
I have recently purchased a second hand N95 (8gb) but having problems with the mass memory. Yesterday, while downloading some tracks to the handset (about 2 hours worth of tracks from scratch), a warning kept appearing on the phone saying that memory was full and that I needed to delete some data. I went to the memory section of the phone and by mistake I pressed the 'format mass memory' thinking it would help, but it didn't. I still cannot put any tracks or videos to the phone. Intotal I have only 18 tracks, some 1 hour 12 mins in length. Clearly something has gone wrong.
The phones capacity is currently reading:
Capacity: 7735mb
Used: 1472kb
Free: 7734mb

thats fine but i dont konw is this the latest software for this phone my suggestion would be go to nokia.com, before that switch off ur phone and remove ur battery u will find the product code it will start with the numbers "05" note these numbers i think it will be a 8 digit no i am not 100% sure,back to nokia.com u will find a link download software,there u will have an option "can i update" and it will have a box to enter these numbers enter and click "go" if u find a version greater than what u see on the phone go for the latest

    Use the PC suite to update the phone. That should fix your problem.

    Hey guys, Ive got an ipad 3 (16gb) and I had a look on my memory i have a few games and apps (GarageBand, keynote, imovie, pages, monoply, game of life and a few others) and it said 12.2 gb used and 1.2gb available i think that's counted wrong and I know approx 1000mb is 1gb it's impossible what do I do to get it accurate, even my brain holds more memory than that! Please help ASAP also I've tried restarting it
    Here is a list of apps:
    GarageBand 696mb
    Imovie 531mb
    Ibooks 366mb
    Keynote 362mb
    Numbers 336mb
    Pages 311mb
    And 52 apps are 150mb and under
    I know that I had the same number of apps yesterday and the memory was 8.2gb I want it to be accurate.

    Centipedee, No memory problem, you don't have enough room. It can take at least 2 times the required memory to load an app to the iPod. Once it loads it only requires 1.8GB of memory space but to get it there you'll need at least (maybe more) 3.6GB of space, I know it sounds screwy but it's how it works. Hope this helps, Good luck.

    Just checked my 60gb Ipod after 3 music library loses due to windows, and it is reading as only 55gb available space. Is this normal because I know with external hard drives you lose some memory due to opporating system info, but should I have lost 5gigs from a 60gig hard drive just for this info?     mf: That sounds about right. It's accepted industry practice (sadly) to round up to the nearest big number when describing hard drive capacities. The iPod 60gig is after all a 55gig hard drive
    I bought a Lacie Terrabyte drive on the weekend to discover that it's not 1,000meg but 939meg.....I expected to lose a few gig but a whopping 61.
    So all you lost was a little over a top end Nano in capacity. I lost a whole top end 5G

    Hi, i had the same problem. Try to find the file "apple" or "itunes" don't know it anymore exactly. Ahm well you need to delet any information or just plug in your iphone into an other computer. important is that your iphone never has been pluged in this computer before. This was what i did, and it worked!

    The error is a very basic one - the sapmsPRD service is not known. You will have to go to <NT_ROOT>\system32\drivers\etc and add the entry sapmsPRD 3600 to this file.
    This is basically telling the requester at what port to look for the message server.

    You should make a mapping for the service sapmsPRD in your /etc/services file (On Windows: C:WINDOWSSYSTEM32DRIVERSETCservices). If your instance number is 00 you will have to add the following entry:
    sapmsPRD      3600/tcp

    I would make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store because of the shock issue. I doubt it was caused by the update.

    Don't worry, just follow these steps to fix iPhone stuck on Apple logo
    => First of all Start your Computer and then connect with Internet connection, now Download the latest version of the iTunes application
    => Now install the iTunes application in your System and connect your Device with computer via Data cable
    => Now connect your Device with iTunes application and then Tab on summary option, see in the left side bar of iTunes
    => Now Select restore option from iTunes and then confirm the Restore Message for better results. After this unplug your Device and Restart it

    Hi there Mylenium, is there any way you can help me? My cs6 is doing all kinds weird things lately. The liquifying too stopped working completely, when I try to work with the actions, it starts flickering and changing opacity in color by itself. It starts flickering and is completely out of whack!     Did you check your security software (firewall)?
    A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
    Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.
