N95 in-car use - what are Nokia playing at?!
I have for some time been using a Nokia 6680 in my car, using a ck-7w car kit and a cr-27 holder. This works great, I have handsfree calling, I can charge my phone whenever I get in the car by putting it in the cradle & I have tomtom 5 mobile which works great, even muting the radio to give directions etc because it all integrates nicely.
Now Nokia have brought out the N95 and I thought great, satnav and phone in one device. So I have upgraded.
Guess what? Nokia N-series devices are "consumer" devices which don't get a special in-car holder. You what?!
The N95 works fine with the ck-7w using bluetooth, but it doesn't have a pop-port so you can't use the ck7w cable. The only way to use it in the car is with a generic holder and a cigarette lighter charger. There is no custom holder for it. To be honest I would be happy even if all the holder did was charge the phone and hold it - I'm happy with bluetooth connection to the car kit.
This has to be the most brain dead thinking from Nokia I have ever seen. I have been using Nokia phones with car kits since the 2010, 2140, nk702 (6130), 6110, 6210, 6310 & 6680. Like I said, my 6680 has tomtom mobile 5 sat nav installed. But guess what, the N95, a phone with BUILT IN SAT NAV has no in-car charger cradle, so you can't use it neatly in a car?!?!

Hi, I've got this working. I have a holder for the 6680 in place using cable connection as well. Haven't tried to connect them both at the same time, but I guess that's not what you want.
To get this working. In my situation, the carkit when using my 6680 always works. I don't need to have the keys. For the bluetooth connection I do have to have the power on (turn the key until you can play your radio, onboard lights turn on, etc.). After you turn on the power, let your N95 search for a new bluetooth device. In my situation, it found the CK-7W in just a few seconds. What are Nokia playing at? N96 Upgraded
I upgraded my 1 month old N96 to the latest firmware 4 days ago after it kept "White Screening" on me and freezing etc etc.....
Now my Battery will not last 24hrs, it used to last 8 to 9 days, this is so annoying, also I cannot use the # hash key to put the phone into silent mode.
Has anyone else encountered these problems?
Any advice would be great.
PS I have nothing running, ie Bluetooth, Wireless etc etc....Yes there are other posts on this subject. If you do a search on N96 you should come up with other discussions on this subject.

Right now I am playing Final Fantasy X... yes.. an old game..... it's taking a long time to complete it. Before it, I played Mass Effect 3. Very nice game! Love the story! A lot of action and drama too. Recommend it to FPS and RPG gamers! Love the graphics too! Lady characters are very sexy! I think I'm in love with Miranda :p I'm also playing a little BF3 from time to time. I'm planning to go back playing MMO but can't decide what to play yet. Yeah StarCraft 2 looks awesome. I think I did play the first installment before I started working. I would like to finish the story. Been a fan of it since the first StarCraft... I'm kinda in a need of advice right now. I'm tired of playing single-player games right now like Final Fantasy, ME3.. I still have Alan Wake and Max Payne 3 that I haven't touched yet.. I feel like going back to MMOs.. any good suggestions? I feel like playing Guild Wars 2 but I'm reluctant since it's kinda old now and getting on top of the ranks should be harder for anybody entering the game right now.. Hmmm.. any other suggestions? -

I know there are aleady countless threads about the battery life but I really want a proper response from anyone on here who can speak for nokia?
WHY are you washing your hands of "battery issues " after this latest update when there are clearly so many people still with issues.
9 hours since last charge now on 52%. That's with email checking every now and then over 3g and some facebook and some whatsapp. Few minutes of listening to music too.
It's clear the latest battery update just changed the calculations so it showed there was more time estimated left...... (reckons 18 hours left but I'm more concerned about how much has gone in the past 8 hours rather than how much it says is left)
Diagnostics tells me the full charge capacity is 1354mAh.....:/
I'd also LOVE to know how you can claim these figures

I can't even get 55hours max 3g standby time let alone listening to music for that long.
And I don't even want to hear "turn data and wifi and location off when you're not using it"
I shouldn't have toI have to agree with the OP - in that I feel that the battery life on these Nokia's is very poor. The fact that this is Nokia that we're talking about, the same Nokia that built it's kingdom on bullet proof dependability and huge battery life, maybe compiles the problem.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 - 1650 mAh and this new Lumia 800 (1450mAh). I charged both last night and then used the SGS2 as my main phone all day with the Lumia along for the ride just to compare.
Both phones had WiFi turned on and the phone set to 2G. I installed a couple of apps on the Nokia and had it checking emails every 30 mins.
The Nokia has just died after less than 18 hours - of basically being on standby all day only. No calls, no maps, no GPS, no screen use, just emails and twitter check twice. Stone dead.
My SGS2 is still showing 54% charge after much more demanding use. Even taking into account the extra 200mAh of the android battery, that would still equal around 48% remaining.
Although others may feel that this is acceptable, especially if they simply don't use the phone very often in a day, for people that actually need to depend on their Lumia for any level of productivity away from a power source, this is terrible. Throw in the fact that it's a sealed unit....pretty ridiculous. My old N8 lasts vastly longer than both these phones.

As a long time user of Nokia phones and more recently Android handsets, coming back to Nokia feels a little like they've taken 2 steps forward and 3 steps backwards with the Lumia.
I would like to return this handset to Nokia and try something else...maybe the N9 has a better battery life? -

harithaIn BI 7.0 if you load data from Source System it will go to PSA.This is still done by Infopackage.Here Infopackage can't push data beyond PSA .
so loading will be like
Source System>DataSource>Infopackage--->PSA.
Now once the data comes to PSA ,it can be further updated to a Cube a DSO or Infobject using a DTP+Transformation.
Here DTP and Transformation are parallel to each other .Each Transformation will have its dedicated DTP.Now whether your request is init or delta it will matter only while you are loading till PSA,so its only the concern of your Infopackage.DTP will not care much about that .Its main job is to push the request of the PSA to Target or to Push the request from One target to another target.So data flow is like this
PSA>Transformation+DTP->Target->Transformation+DTP>Target1
Now ,the important question is then what is Delta and Full in DTP.If you have setting as Delta in DTP then it will only pull the unloaded request from PSA and ignore the request which have been successfully loaded to the Target.It very important point to be taken care of.For loading between Data Target to Data Target (Data Mart scenario) delta option will bring only those records to Target1 from Target which have not been present there.
If you have full load DTP ,it will pull all the requests from PSA irrrespective of whether they have been loaded or not ,causing you sometimes duplicate records issue etc.
Please let me know if you have any doubts .

Just to elaborate on the question, i have a number of adverts designed in photoshop and saved as hi resolution jpgs however when opening them in acrobat and using OCR i noticed that either none of the text is picked up or partially picked up. are there fonts that are better or settings for the fonts that would make the recognition better and more reliable.
Thankstried that today, was a little better, somewhere around 40% words get picked up although sometimes far less or none. tried so many settings, i think its just one of those things, its not really designed to handle all that well.

What a nasty looking cheap skin apple has given us. I'm really disappointed in this. I really feel let down by apple now. I paid lots of money for my apples and end up with a cheap looking phone. Get rid of this nasty looking look. Darren
I, however, prefer the new look and would disagree with any attempts by Apple to change it back to the old skeuomorphic hash. Different strokes for different folks, and nothing pleases everyone.

you can find all those details in transaction variant,
go with SHD0 ( numerical 0) and then enter your transaction code and enter transaction variant name and then select that
Select the program SAPMV45A and go CHANGE WITH PROCESSING (F6),
there you can find the list of fields and field names.
