N95 is not supported by ovi store!

"We are sorry  Ovi Store is currently not available for your device." 
I have N95 NAM.  With recently upgraded firmware - v35.2.001.

All that I can say is that OVI Store (UK) still works on N95 with latest firmware. Last October after "hard reset" on N95 installed Symbian S60 3rd Ed. FP1 Ovi Store Client from here:http://nokiapp.com/2009/05/31/ovi-store-client-for-s60-3rd-edition-fp1/ which updated on opening application

    Apple indeed has not been licensed for any media content - music, movies, TV shows, etc - in India, so the iTunes app on your iPad has nothing to connect to. All you have access to are apps, via the App Store app, or free iBooks (through the iBooks app), iTunes U courses (through the iTunes U app) or podcasts (through the podcasts app).

    i am unable to download anythng from nokia ovi store default application even i hav tried diffrent accounts...cant even click on download....cause it doesn't see highlighted...while downloading works when i download from www.store.ovi.com

    If the download button is grayed out usually it means that the application is still installed on your device although you thought you have already removed it.
    For example if the application is installed to memory card and you reset the device, the application won’t be deleted.
    Also note that some applications may install multiple binaries and you may need to uninstall all of them before application can be re-downloaded.
    Please use the Application manager for uninstalling applications. Application manager can be usually found from Menu -> Settings but please refer to user guide for more details.
    From Application manager select Installed applications, choose the application you want to remove and select Options -> Uninstall.
    In case of application which has installed multiple binaries ( for example Nokia Maps ODML, Nokia Maps Engine, etc) , uninstall all binaries one by one.
    If necessary, reboot your device after the uninstallation and try re-downloading the application from Nokia Store.
    Make sure you have internet connection, better to use Wifi if possible.
    If this did not resolve the issue, download Nokia Suite to your PC and check if there is available software update for your Nokia E5-00, if there's none try to reinstall the software. To download Nokia Suite click here.

  • Not getting the ovi store message!

    I go on the Ovi store on my home computer because it costs to much to go on the ovi store on my phone. I click "send to phone" but I never get the message. I find this annoying and a waste of time for it not to work.
    I would like help to solve this problem so I can download that apps i want.
    (My Phone is a: 5233)

    Anyways you have to use the Phone to download the application.. as there is no provision to download it to your PC.. So.. why don't you go to the OVI Store site in your Mobile browser and download diresctly.. ?

    when will you support the E90?

    That Download! APplikation (or just Applikation) 3.1.736 is the same as the one built into the E90 firmware 300.34.84 on my phone (*#0000# shows FW). Check your phone Menu/Download!/Options/Application/About. There was a stand alone Download! Application which you could download at Nokia when they transitioned between Mosh for Nokia and Download! to the Ovi Store. It is Dowload! Version 3.2.818. It works slightly better* during changes. Of course, the purpose of Download! is simply to supply the Ovi Store Client. And the Ovi Store Client allows you the freedom to download application for your own personal experimentation - an example is Facebook for E71/E72 - unlike the web-based Ovi Store, which tends to block a lot. I wonder what happens with Windows Live Messenger IM because it doesn't show up in Download! any more. You can still only get it at some unrelated symbian site. I have no idea about the sms from Ovi Store. My only guess there is to try to pickout the application from the sms and search for it in the Ovi client.   • N95 8GB not supporting .sis files?

    ...is this true? I tried sennding a few .sis files across bluetooth to my N95 and it says 'Installation of 'xxxx.sis' not supported.'

    Dont worry, it seems I can only install symbian 3rd edition .sis files.

    i always download themes and applications on my nokia n95 without any problem.
    but lately i can't download any of the themes or app i always get "file not supported".
    what is the reason of this problem??

    may be the files you r downloading are in *.rar format thats why "nokia web browser" shows error "filee not supported" try downloading with Opera Mobile, Built-in browser will not download files that are not supported by phone, like *.rar, but Opera will download anything..

  • Can't buy icloud storage. Message says subscriptions are not supported in my store front...

    Same error from all platforms (WIN, MAC, iPhone 4, iPad 2).
    The account I use is Israeli. There is a credit card assigned to the account.
    I could not find anywhere if indeed the Israeli store is not allowed to purchase storage at iCloud...
    Any ideas?

    iTS changes the content available as dictated by the copyright holders/content providers. An item in your cart is not a guarantee that you can purchase unfortunately.
    If it is labeled as 'unavailable' then that is for the current time - try back in a day/week or two and things might have changed.

    - click on the Contact Support at the bottom of the left-hand column
    - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

    Are you referring to accessing OVI Store via browser or application upon device?

    If you are referring to .sis applications sourced outside of Nokia/Ovi Store the Symbian certificate has expired upon a number of these now, you have to reset date upon device to a previous time perhaps start with 2010 and change it back to current date after successful installation; it can unfortunately be a matter of trial and error to hit the right one!

    I have recently updated my Nokia C7 with a new version of Market and now I can no longer update any programs. I can click on markets, which gives a black screen. Nothing happens, regardless of how long time I seem to wait. Pressing the middle buttom, can get me back to idle, checking the open applications (longpress middle key) reveals that "nokiastoreclient" is running.  
    I want to remove this faulty version or update again. How can I do this? (using the link above, just start the "nokiastoreclient", then nothing.

    I am unable to download applications from ovi store onto my mobile. on clicking download it says install/download failed everytime.

    I remember using Ovi store on my N73 some time when the store was launched but later support was pulled off. It goes to download the store and will say its not supported. Less likely N73 would get support to Ovi store.

    Just now I had bought 3 games in Ovi Online Store: Chinese Chess Pro II, Reversi Pro II and Gomoku Pro II. I download and installed Chinese Chess, but two other games gave me 'error' on downloading... The 'error' is in my log now, and only option I have now is to BUY it again! So it seems I lost 2x186 RUR, about 8 EUR on this.
    I report it immediately through your online support form. Soon afterwards I received returned message from your server, means my e-mail was not delivered. You can see it below.
    I have all e-mails confirming transactions made. I can provide it at any time. Nevertheless, I must tell you this is definitely NOT the way of treating customers and doing business. I am waiting for some action to be taken, so at least I'll have the items I paid my money for.

    I'm having the exact same problems!!!! So far I have notified Visa, Digg, and any possible Nokia forum I can find to tell people to stop buying product from Ovi.  I'm even contacting the developers directly.
    This is a complete failure on Nokia's part.  I would not expect this sort of thing from the worlds largest phone maker..
    My next stop is the consumerist and local media.

    Hi all !
    This is my first post and I hope you guys can help me...
    I am trying to install SKYPE in my N95 (running V35.2.001 13-10-09, RM160) and when I try to open the link sent from the OVI Store via SMS directly to my phone I get the above mentioned error.
    I also get the same error message if I try to open the OVI Store app icon in the phone.
    I am connecting via WIFI which works fine so it is not a connection issue.....
    When I tried to download the SKYPE app directly from the skype.com/m site using my N95 I receive a SKYPE version S60_ V5.0  1.10(7) which would appear to be not compatible as the N95 is S60 V3
    Any help in trying to solve these two issues will be much appreciated.

    1. Make sure that the phone runs the latest software version. You can use Nokia Suite to check if there's software update available for your phone, refer to this link: http://www.nokia.com/global/support/software-updat​e/belle-asha-symbian-software-update/
    2. Check the network quality. If the connection is poor the Store application or downloading applications may not work correctly. 
       Try to use alternate connection types such as WLAN, 3G or GPRS/EDGE. If there is still issues with network coverage, you must contact the network operator for assistance.
    3. Clear the cached memory on the phone 
     Go to the device Menu
    Select Web
    Choose Options -> choose Settings
    Click on Privacy data
    Choose Clear Privacy data -> Choose Cache.
    4. Uninstall and reinstall your Nokia Store application. for Symbian^3 devices can be downloaded also from http://lr.ovi.mobi/store/new-symbian-3 directly to phone or download the package to your PC and install it via Nokia Suite.
