N95- most unreliable phone ever.

Had one which had a microphone defect. Then the same one had a problem with battery life. Then the same one had problems with the wrong buttons doing the wrong things. Then that one got replaced with a brand new one. That one now had a problem with the camera, where it will either stay black or won't focus.
Biggest waste of money.

My N95 is now playing up again and it will be the third time in 18 months that I have had to return it for repair. My husband had one at the same time as me and his has never (touch wood) broken down but mine (I am a more regular user of the phone than my husband) has had the screen breakdown on me twice, first time it went multicoloured and I couldn't receive calls or texts, second time it just went black and then this morning it just started to play about 3 seconds of each track I have on the phone. I am very dissatisfied as I need my phone due to being self employed. I have always had Nokia phones and this is the first one that I have been disappointed with.

I have to agree with the OP. The phone DOES have disappointments as mentioned in a few posts including my own. Going back and forth to the HUB is a pain (a message icon could improve that). Staying on the last page you visited (last email message or last text) and not just defaulting to the home screen is problematic. You have to swipe and swipe again to get where you want or need to be.
The alarm clock not working when the phone is off is a pain too. WTF is that about? You have to leave the phone on, reset the sounds to silent so you're not woken up by beeps whenever an email comes in and even the bedside mode doesn't shut down the sounds. I'd think that if I put the phone in bedside the sounds would automatically go to PHONE ONLY mode.
Have double notifications in Facebook and on the HUB is problematic. Why? Simple, why? One message in the app is enough. Why do I have to go to the HUB for that? There's absolutely no reason for this.
No banking apps. I can't scan a check??? Every phone on the planet has a banking app. Get with the program aready! Blackberry developers worked with Facebook and Twitter but forgot Bank of America, Wells Fargo etc etc. I could care less about social apps.
Speaking of apps. Why weren't the old standards included? Password Keeper and the QR scanner were missing and I had to go searching for them and learn how to get my passwords back onto this new device.
My contacts are all doubled and tripled because of the apps. I have one person in four times!! On my Torch they were there once. That's all I need. I could care less about their Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin profiles being on my phone.
The device itself works. It makes and receives calls. It gets my emails for me but that's what BB did back when they first came out in 1999. Nothing really improved in terms of going against the competition and coming out late in the game played against them IMHO.

seriously. I wish I never brought the BT homehub, it's absolutely terrible. It's connected a lot of the time but it's ridiculous for gaming, I constantly keep getting switched from open to strict NAT, I get IP errors stopping me from connecting and it's just ridiculous.

Blackberry Pearl- Why it's the worst phone ever made

Here's why I think the Blackberry Pearl is the worst phone ever made.
1. I can't get photo's off of it. My G1 takes a few seconds. I've worked with this Pear for hours upon hours cannot get my photo's off of it. The Desktop manager really bites too no help there. I really dislike this phone. The software just as bad. I guess they were on the move when Desktop manager was getting written.
2. The phone on occasions would lock on letters instead of numbers. There wasn't an intuitive way to get it unlocked. I found it more intuitive to get a my return from the IRS than it was to get the phone back to dialing numbers.
I'm having my kids dress up as a Blackberry Pearl for Halloween. I'm going to make a Halloween Movie Freddy Kruger attacks people with Blackberry Pearl the topper scene features unsuspecting Pearl user getting tied up and has them attempt to copy their photos off to a PC and the video gets put on Youtube for Christmas.

I want to join the fun here and list all the different reasons why I'm very unsatisfied with this phone.
The actual phone part of this phone is pretty slow. It accepts a phone number almost 3 times slower than I can type it in. Even typing a name on their handy search bar takes forever to get a result. If I type to fast, it just ignores a couple of my numbers so I have to delete and retype, at the same super slow pace. I'm guessing that it searches all sorts of contact and history lists to give me cool suggestions, and that's what makes it so slow. Either way, it irritates me to no end that the basic reason I have this thing is slow as dirt.
All 3rd Party and Blackberry apps require the Blackberry data service. Even though there's WIFI on this phone, you simply can't connect to anything except the Browser (and even the Browser requires some setting changes to bypass the upsell screen). This phone CAN do 3rd party services and other applications without the Blackberry data service, but they just don't allow you to.
Sometimes my phone just turns off. I don't normally mind the 3 minute boot up process, but when I'm in the middle of something and my phone turns off for no reason, it just compounds my frustration.
The keyboard freezes up all the time. After a good 1-5 minute "please wait clock", I finally get a message saying there was an error and my input application had to be reset. Sometimes it doesn't quite reset all the way and I have to pull the battery and again wait for the long boot up process.
Its a little unreliable. Besides the phone turning off at random and the keyboard freezing, I still have problems other problems. My bluetooth turns off and sometimes doesn't come back. Once I had to get a new phone sent to me in order to correct that problem. Pressing buttons doesn't always get a response, especially the green "call" button. If the phone is bogged down, it just ignored commands, which is pretty frustrating especially if you press a button and accidently double enter a command that is both the "on" and "off" options. Also, sometimes the screen fades out (like its suppose to) but doesn't come back when you press keys. Or the external notifications just don't turn on. It somestimes just doesn't read my memory card. The zoom feature on my camera also got stuck.
Other small gripes involve having no caps lock, the SureType never learning from my typing ("Hey" always goes out as "Get"), its overall slowness, the looseness of the back casing, the low quality camera, and so much more.
I don't suggest this phone to anyone.

Droid X: WORST phone EVER

Worst phone EVER. DO NOT BUY.
* Constantly reboots
* Constantly drops data connection
* Totally ignores third-party email for about an hour on its own which is absolutely CRITICAL.
* Will only get email immediately when its powered down, then up.
* 3G coverage blows.
I HATE AT&T and APPLE, but I miss my iPhone already and its only been a week. But it WORKED, ALWAYS.
They should renamer this the ROID X, because it is a PITA ***!

Since then I've resolved the WAP problem; but as the OP has stated, the problems I've had with mine have been far and away more than all the phones I've had in the past -combined!
It fails on calls (I'm paying of the call, but nothing can be heard)..Today my touchscreen decided to go AWOL. and locked up..so I took out the battery, same again..then the battery AND the SIM card. Same again..It wouldn't unlock, the only buttons that worked were the push button ones...Then it decided it would work a little, and auto scrolled (Yes really!) the side bar..The it defaulted to the help screen without being touched (Battery out again)...then it worked as it should..but now...if I try to press an icon, it moves up the screen as I press it, so I can't actually open (for example) messages or my address book. If I hold the menu icon down for three seconds, it will eventually open up, but the rest won't..but it might all change in an hour or two..So yes, i agree with the original message it is probably the worse phone Nokia has released.

Hello people, I'm working at a project that involves a lot of Premiere and after I've progressed with it, it gives me the most killer error ever. How can I solve this? I can't recover my work, so everytime I have to start over from some point it auto-saved. Please help me with this!

So... this isn't actually any help, but I would have to say the most annoying error message ever is FCP's "General Error". Which would then be followed by your system crashing. Has to set a record for least informative error ever, and it used to come up fairly often.
I'd follow Steven's advice, and import either you project or sequence into a new project.

Sending all images from n95 8gb from phone to pc.

how do you send ALL the images on your n95 from the phone to the pc?, because now when i connect it only lets me transfer the ones i took between the last time i did and now. surley there is a way to re-send the other ones that you have sent before but since, lost!

I assume that you are using the Image Store feature in PC Suite, which is not something I use myself as I favour the manual approach.
By far the easiest way is to connect the phone in data transfer mode (sometimes called mass storage mode), which will make your phone's 8Gb mass memory appear in Windows Explorer as an external drive. You can then copy/paste whatever you like from the folders on the phone to your PC.

i too feel its the worst phone ever..i have used all the brands of phone...range starting from as FLY, sony, samsung, nokia and iphone....this is the only brand i had nt used...so i bought it with huge expectation...although withing 45 days of buying the phone...the phone conked...it was restarting itself and then permanently dead...wasnt going ahead of 23% of loading......so had to wait another 45 days to get replacement [so called new phone]and now again on 6th march,2015, i have given the phone to service center..service promises to call back on same day to inform, which they never do...next day when i called,came to know again hardware issue...and again will get phone replacement...now i dont wont Z10 at all....now phone is in warranty they will replace it but what about later...if i buy a new phone...i assume for atleast 2 years the phone shouldnt have problem...if i have ti visit service center ervery 45 days or 6 months after getting replacement phones then what is the point of buying new phone???worst part when i wnet first time, i was never informed by service center that we can get standby phone...45 days without office mails...this time they gave me BB curve, again first trackball wasnt working...and the again another phone was given in which i was told i cant download any apps...and worst again no mails...i though BB was known as business phone so that we can be connected 24X7 with mails....but with such kind of phones where we cant download anything cant use mail or hotspot how will we work????really disappointed with BB

In my office, all of us who use the 8830 Blackberry, get complaints from the people we speak with on the phone that our phones are the "worst sounding phone ever".
We have tried talking softer or louder, re-positioning the phones when we talk....we've tried it all. Changing the sensitiviy in the voice dialing settings does not help... (now I know why I see posts here re: problems with the voice dialing -- its gotta be the mic! )
Nothing apart from using a hands-free device seems to help.
It is as though the phone's microphone is too sensitive and everything is distorting. My calendar is a horrible phone.
This is very annoying.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
Is there a fix for it?

Hi and welcome to the forums!
Quick test:
Go to voicenotes and record a mini conversation.
Play it back and see how you sound, and the background noise.
If it sounds normal, it may not be the mic.
Go to work and have everyone check the DB levels in Options Status .
The lower the number the better the quality -30 is good -70 bad.
You could be having reception problems with a very clear signal.

Most frustrating phone issue I ever had!

This is what I would like to do if possible: Have all my accounts synced through my Iphone, to Mac Mail 2.0, to the server.
Example: I have an email on my phone.....I delete that email, and I wanted deleted from the Iphone, Mail 2.0, and also the server. And anything else I do with emails on my phone to also sync with Mail 2.0 and the server.
Emails I have: Gmail (IMAP), AOL (IMAP), ME (IMAP), Yahoo (won't IMAP in 2.0 without upgrade, just want it on Iphone and server to sync not 2.0), and lastly Comcast (POP, but will probably import into Gmail....Not now though! haha)
Is any of this possible? I tried every setting on the Iphone, 2.0, and server. +(store sent here, move deleted there, do this after a month, do that after a week, etc, etc, etc....it's different every place!)+ I can't get it! The most frustrating thing I have ever experienced with a phone. Thanks in advance.

Yes, however At&T bought Cingular since then. It's not the phone. My husband has the same problem and this is my third iphone. 2nd was an uprade 3rd an early upgrade to the 3GS because I accidently stuck my phone into the washer. I always had the same problem with service and so does my husband. He is on his third phone as well. 2nd was an upgrade which got chopped by the lawnmower. All together we had 6 iphones different sim cards same bad service.
I really want Apple to give people a choice with their service. I also own apple stocks and have done quite well with it. This will hurt them sooner or later. This is terrible service and every day I wonder how much will I take to support apple? I need a phone that can hold a conversation for a few minutes and one that doesn't tell me the number does not exist, when in fact it does (saved contact).
Their airspace or whatever you call it is insuffient here and maybe elswhere, that's why I asked the questions: Is it just me?

I have recently got my iPhone 3GS and it’s and impressive device. The market leading MP3 player and the best mobile browsing device ever - with an innovative and intuitive user interface that is way ahead of its competitors.
As a PDA its OK – but lacks the functionality and integration of Windows mobile devices. Doubtless the apps will come to resolve that and at the moment – there are work arounds.
As a phone though – the last phone I had so basic and functionless was 9 years ago. Apple’s heritage shows in this device – reliable quality computing and audio. A lack of phone experience.

There are no profiles and no way to create profiles. When I go into a meeting I don’t want to have to take my phone from its case and hit the silent button and put it back – and I don’t want to do the reverse when the meeting’s over. The same when I get in and out of the car – I want Bluetooth switched on and voice dialling on one profile.
There is no means to create a shortcut. So to get in the car I have to go to settings, general, Bluetooth and switch it on – the same when I get out.
There are no user groups in the address book –which can share a ringtone for example.
There is no way of filtering calls e.g. when in a meeting – only accept calls from users in the VIP group, or from 'Tom' etc.
I’d like Apple to resolve these issues in a future OS update. What else should they address?

Your post just strengthens the idea that everyone uses their phone differently.
I have a belt case for my phone, and the silent switch and power button are accessible without taking the phone out. So when in a meeting, I can quite my phone without having to remove it from the case.
Other then a shortcut for BT or Wifi, the rest of your needs don't coincide with mine or anyone I know.
Something I would like to see is scheduling of email/sync - Turn it off from 11pm to 6am. Same for Fetch email.
I do agree things are missing, but my needs are different then yours.
