N95 Music playing at double speed

Hi folks
Recently got the N95 and have tried to transfer music from my downloaded collection onto te phone only to find that it plays at double speed on both the phone and when using nokia music player on the PC.
Music imported from CDs seems to work fine.
Any ideas
Cheers
McGratts

The music manager of Nokia have some hiccups need to be ironed out yet, use windows music player to rip & convert the music to mp3 or wma, then transfer it by use of file manager of pcsuite to the appropriate phone directory(cut & paste).
If  i have helped at all a click on the white star below would be nice thanks.

  • Clip plays at double speed for no reason

When I am in FCP 5.0 I play a clip and it plays at double speed for no reason (captured dv25 from dvd via decklink extreme capture card). This happens when I click on play in the source or keyboard shortcut. I'm certain that I am not putting in to this mode by clicking or keying twice. Then suddenly I will close and open the clip and play motion is normal. This occurs on tutorial clips in FCP not just ones I have captured. I have trashed FCP preferences but this still happens. Any ideas?.....
    Thanks in advance.

Haven't heard of this before, so unless someone else has a ready solution, I'd say you're going to need to troubleshoot. Start by creating a new user account, check the box to allow it to administer, then log into the new account and see if the problem follows. Please report back.

  • Download music plays at different speed on differe...

I have two N70s with different software versions. The same music download plays at different speeds on the two phones. It plays at the right speed on the older one but the music plays too fast on the newer one. The versions are below. Any ideas why this is?

Does the other user account have a third party download manager installed?

  • Is it possible to play video double speed?

    Hi All.
Is it possible to play video file or video stream double speed?
I've never seen the flash player.  Please show me the way.
Thanks in advanced. and sorry for my poor english.
    Kevin.

Is it possible to play back video at double speed, but keep the pitch normal?  How about playing back at a fraction of double, say, 150% speed?
No, not that I'm aware. Yes; try Shift+L (for forward play) and Shift+J (for reverse play). Start playback with L, and then tap Shift+L; that should increase speed in 25% increments, and you get a number of steps before it tops out. You can do it from a paused state, as well, and get fractional slower-than-realtime playback--that's very helpful, as well.

  • Hit Play video plays about double speed

When I play the video I am working on in the timeline, the video starts normal (for about a second) but then starts racing at about double speed. If I turn the external video to off under the "view" pulldown menu, the playback is normal.

Please give your full system specifications, what computer, what drives, what camera or deck, how everything's connected, what settings are on the media, what settings you're using in Final Cut, and finally what version of the software, of the OS, and of QuickTime you are using.

  • Why does my music play at abnormal speeds after updating to iOS 8.2

Since my update, my music will either stop, or play at an abnormal faster speed. It is intermittent and only happens to songs that are purchased from the iTunes store.

Have subsequently tried doing a re-install with the combo updater, repaired permissions, reset SMC and PRAM. No luck. When booting into safe mode, works fine but cursor is 'jittery' and the screen is erratic (like an old tv with rabbit ears antenna.)
Any thoughts or help would be significantly appreciated.

  • Quicktime not playing at double speed

When I try to open any mp3 file in QuickTime and play it at 2x speed, it goes silent.  Prior to the iTunes 12.2 update/Yosemite Recovery Update 1.0/OS X 10.10.3 update, this wasn't an issue.
QuickTime is currently running on ver 10.4
I'm running on a Macbook Air with a 1.4 Ghz processor intel core i5 with 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 with 50 GB of memory left.
    Any help.

  • 1st movie uploaded to youtube plays @ double speed

Using a 4-year-old 13" MacBook with iMovie HD 6.0.3 I created a 36-second video which, when uploaded to youtube, has the video playing at double speed but the audio playing normally until the audio gets cut off since the video now has been reduced to 19 seconds in length.
On the youtube help forum I see others who have had a similar problem are being asked for info obtained from a freeware app called MediaInfo which gives all the particulars on codecs, I guess, but that software is not available for Mac.
Afraid I have not kept up to date on movies—am doing this for a friend and have no idea what to do. So far no one has responded to my query on the forum. Any direction would be appreciated.

There aren't any settings in iDVD that would increase or decrease the speed of a video, so you may want to take a look at the Quicktime movie properties to see if it was compressed by cutting the frames per second in half (eg, 15 frames/sec rather than the standard 30 fps).
If the original is 15 fps, you might try running a sample through MPEG Streamclip, iMovie, Quicktime Pro, Roxio Toast... to see if one of those can add frames back into the video so it's the standard 30 fps. I've not encountered this before, so don't fool around with your original and search the archives here and over in the forums associated with the software mentioned.

  • Why doesn't Quicktime play audio in double speed any longer?

Until recently, a person could click on the FF button to play a video/audio file in double speed and hear the audio. This was especially helpful when watching/listening to lectures. Now when you play in double speed there is no audio. What happened? Is there a glitch in the software? I hope the feature is returned to its former design.

Finally figured it out the solution! (This only applies to Mac users.)
Firefox 3.x ran in 32-bit mode and Quicktime 7.x runs in 32-bit mode, so the two programs worked just fine together. The new Firefox 4.x, however, runs in 64-bit mode, so the 32-bt Quicktime 7.x plug-in no longer works correctly.
Luckily the fix is simple: just switch Firefox 4.x from 64-bit mode down to 32-bit mode. Here's how:
    [] Close Firefox 4.0
[] Highlight the Firefox icon in the Applications folder
[] Click COMMAND-i to open the Get Info window
[] Click on the box marked: OPEN IN 32-BIT MODE and close the window
    [] Launch Firefox
You can now save Quicktime files as before, assuming you have Quicktime Pro.
[] After closing Firefox, you can un-check the OPEN IN 32-BIT MODE box so Firefox will once again run in 64-bit mode.

  • Nokia 3300 video playing double-speed?!! help!!

    Hello
A couple of days ago i recorded a few videos at a concert on my nokia 3300. When i open them to watch them they play in double-time (really fast) but the audio is normal. It's never happened before and i really want to fix it so it plays in normal speed.
    Can anyone help?!!!

Does it play at double speed with no sound when you watch it on the phone or on a computer ?
If it is on the phone, try switching the phone off and on again to see if that helps.
If it is on a computer you might need to get newer codecs for your media player.

  • Spund on Videos and Music is at high speed

My 3 year old plays with my iPad while I'm driving around town, and is surprisingly capable of navigating his way around it. However, this afternoon he started listening to music and it was all sped up, as well as the sound when watching videos. I've searched the entire pad and cannot figure out how this happened, or more accurately what he did to make this happen.
    Any help, someone, please?
    Thanks in advance,
    Ellen

This is a reply from a discussion concerning a problem similar to yours - perhaps worth a try .....
"We had this same problem, in all iPad area's with music. It happened after our son said he had changed the volume. This gave me THE solution, he used the forward slide instead of the volume slide . When I did the same again, the issue was solved. So: Play a song via iPod (on your iPad), use the forward slide/switch to go to the end of the song, and the music Plays at normal speed again."

  • How can I fix: iPad1 plays back audio podcasts (not music) at double speed?

How can I fix: iPad1 plays back audio podcasts (not music) at double speed?

    Hello @GiveHP2ndChance,
I understand that you are not able to get adequate sound from your notebook computer's BEATS Audio, and I would be happy to assist you in this matter!
To correct the sound on your system, I recommend following this document on No Sound from Speakers (Windows 7) or for (Windows 8). This should help improve the quality of the audio on your notebook.
To assist you further, I will need to know:
The Product and Model Number of your notebook computer.
The version of Windows you have installed on your computer.
If your computer has completed all of its important Windows Updates.
If you have updated your HP drivers using the HP Support Assistant.
If this is an on-going, or recent issue.
If the same lack of quality is present when headphones are plugged in.
Please re-post with the results of your troubleshooting, as well as the requested information above. I look forward to your reply!
    Cheers!

  • IDVD playing double speed in PC

I just finished making my DVD in iDVD 5. It works great in my home DVD player, but on a PC where I work, it plays double speed. Everything, the menu's, the footage and audio, etc... Any idea why? I really need this too work in PC's DVD drives with winDVD thanks

Make sure that you have the latest version of WinDVD on your PCs. If your WinDVD was a free download, or perhaps came as part of a bundle package, odds are you are running a lesser version of the app. Start with WinDVD, it's almost always the culprit. You may have to buy an upgrade to WinDVD to get it to work.
