N95 OSX Multimedia Transfer Issue error code 208

Hi I have the latest download of Multimedia Transfer (1.3) and my OSX is 10.4.11 every time I try to transfer files I get the error code 208 device refused the operation. This is very frustrating, this is my send N95 8gb and just after I uploaded my contacts into this one nearly all calls & texts come through with just the number & no identity.
I did not have either problem with my previous N95, can anyone assist please?

on phone, open music player. click options -> refresh library. wait a long, long time. 3.8GB will take a while. during this process you'll see a count of songs found.
you can't close music player while this happens, and it is a much longer wait than you might expect - so be sure you don't need to do anything with your phone for at least 30 minutes. put it on a charger if you can, it's a lot of sdcard access which is a power hog.
once this is done, the phone has an internal database of music - much like the Library.xml file in iTunes. just like itunes, copying music into the music folder doesn't make it show up in the music player - you must tell itunes to import the music into the library database. but after this painful period of waiting... the music player works very nicely and you only have to do this again if you add or remove music.

Authorizations - Error Code -208 HELP!!

I looked around and could not find any info on my particular problem.
I cannot access any iTunes purchased music without being asked to authorize my computer. When I do enter my password, I can access the Music Store and I get a meesage that my computer authorized successfully, and then it's immeditely followed by another pop up that says the Music Store request cannot be successfully completed - Error code -208, and I still can't play my music or access any of my account information - Anybody have any ideas?

I downloaded and installed the latest version of iTunes (6.0.1.3), and this fixed the problem.
yep. the (-208) problem for some PCs running 6.0.0.18 was fixed in 6.0.1.3.

Re: Cd/DVD drive issue - error code 39 on Satellite P series

This is my first request for help.
My CD/DVD drive is no longer recognized and when I go to Device Manager and click on CD/DVD I am informed that the file cdrom.sys is there but cannot be loaded.
An error number 39 is reported.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated but please keep it simple to one line actions if possible.

There error code 39 is very common issue and can be solved easy;

So firstly remove the CD/DVD drive from the device manager.
Then access the registry using the regedit command and remove the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters values completely from the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
Reboot the notebook and wait till the CD/DVD drive was installed again.

OSX DVD/CD Burner Error Code - HELP!

Hey everyone. I hope someone might be able to help me out with a problem I am having.
I just purchased a Plextor DVD/CD burner, and every time I put a blank in it, it gives me an error code (0x80020025). I thought it just might be my burner, but I tried to burn a disc with my buddy's Lacie, and had the same issue. The drive reads all discs fine, it just won't let me set it up to burn one.
Can anyone help, please?! Thank you all so much.

The drive is an external drive. It is a Plextor PX-740UF. I am running it with USB. Just to let you know, I had the same issue with my buddy's Lacie drive when I plugged it in.
The drive recognizes everything BUT unburned discs. When I put one in and I try to open it in Finder, or in iTunes, it gives me that error code.
I have also tried to do the force quit from Finder, and then re-launching, but this doesn't help either.

You could try downloading and installing 7-Zip (free) and downloading a fresh copy of the iTunes installer, unpack the installer into its components using 7-Zip then try installing AppleApplicationSupport again. It may still fail to install but you may get more useful error messages as to why not.

Download error code 208

I see that there have been previous posts on this subject. I have had this happen three times now. The last time I went through the routine of deauthorizing my computer several times and it could not be fixed and Apple eventually gave up and gave me a credit for the songs that would not download. I have had this problem happen now for a third time. I have again go through the deauthorize routine and have had no luck. Any other suggestions? It getting very annoying that this keeps happening.

I purchased an album. 14 of the 18 songs in the album downloaded fine. I then got the error message. I logged out of itunes and back in, same result. Deauthorized the computer, reauthorized, same result. Deleted itunes and reinstalled, still received error msg and unable to download the rest of the album. Deauthorized again, changed my password, and reauthorized and same error message. (as an aside, when I changed password and then reauthorized the computer, it showed I had authorized two computers). I have rebooted the computer several times, no change. This is the third time that I have have been unable to download songs purchased and received error msg 208. The first time it was a single song (one of the free downloads), the second time I had purchased about 4 songs, 3 downloaded, but the 4th would not. Apple had me go through the authorize, deauthorize routine. After several days fo trouble shooting on my end and their end, Apple issued credit for 4 th song. Now I am having the problem of unable to download for a 3rd time

Macbook Pro Retina & Mediasonic ProRAID USB 3 issue - Error Code -50

Hi everyone,
I have a Mediasonic ProRAID 4-bay container (model HFR2-SU3S2) connected to my new Macbook Pro Retina via USB 3.0 (using the replacement pc board supplied by Mediasonic that provides true USB 3 speeds for supported apple devices). It is currently connected through a USB 3 hub but the same issue occurred when I had it directly connected to the laptop.
I've noticed that when the laptop display goes to sleep (beyond the screen saver), when I return to do work and wake the display (a Dell 3011 30" connected using the apple dual link mini display adapter), the drive is mounted and I can browse the folder structure without a problem.
However, whenever I do anything to write to the volume, like to create a folder, I get 'Error Code -50', preventing me from writing. Similarly, if I try to work on an image stored on this volume from within Adobe Lightroom, for example, I get Write error messages as well.
I've found that the only short term fix is to unmount and powercycle the RAID box. Are there any other remedies that I can look into? I have my Macbook Pro configured to NOT spin down any hard drives nor does it go to sleep (other than the display) when connected to AC power.

Custom WebAuth Issues "Error Code 1"

Hi All,
Being experimenting in the Custom Webauth uploads. The main problem I have is my company does not want to issue a username/password to each vistor so we just have a static credentials that change weekly. In the custom webauth this mean error code 1 is issued by the controller "the user is already logged in" Go Figure! All browsers apart from IE ignore this and redirect as normal. IE being the pain it is displays the message but does not redirect. This means the user goes into a constant login loop trying over and over again. But in fact they have already authenitcate and all they need do is browse away from the login.
Does anyone know how I can ignore error code 1 all together. Its funny the built in page doesn't even care about this and when I captured that and uploaded the failed login script stopped working. I guess different error codes are used when using a custom webauth.
Think Cisco need to update the templates anyway for the latest browsers.

I'm not sure if this would help, but could you use this command to stop the checks for multiple logins and hopefully not generate the error code? From the 7.0 config guide:
"config advanced eap max-login-ignore-identity-response {enable | disable}—When enabled, this command limits the number of devices that can be connected to the controller with the same username. You can log in up to eight times from different devices (PDA, laptop, IP phone, and so on) on the same controller. The default value is enabled."

External HD issue Error code -36

I am unable to copy or move files to and from my lacie porsch external hd. I get the following message.
The Finder cannot complete the operation because some date in "grab-drop image.jpg" could not be read or written. (Error code -36).
any ideas? I have verified the drive it is fine and apps work off the drive. ITunes store will not download to the drive.

Sometimes the iSight has been known to hijack the Firewire bus. I'd try to see if the problem persists with only the Porch drive connected via Firewire and nothing else. An error -36 is an input output error. It often happens also when a hard drive is extremely full.

I purchased two songs last night. They both appear on my purchased music file. When I tried to play them today I got a message saying that my computer was not authorised to play the songs. When I click to authorise them it says that it was successful, when I click on ok it then gives me the message:- we could not complete your music store request.An unknown error occurred (-208)
There was an error in the music store. Please try again later.

This possible solution is from a poster named Barbara Hall.
"Go to Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Apple Computer\ITunes\SCInfo. Delete this SCInfo folder. Make a copy of the folder if you are worried before deleting. Try to play your music again. Type in your info and hit authorize. Should fix your problem. "

Got a new computer, now adobe photoshop elements is having licensing issues. error code 150:30

Thats pretty much the jist of it. Im no computer wiz and all of the instructions for how to solve this problem are over my head. I don't know how to enter my start up library to delete certain files. Please help.

photoshop elements 8 - came with my wacom tablet back in 2011. And My new computer has os X yosemite - it was working on my macbook which had recently updated to OS X, but Im receiving error code 150:30 licensing has stopped working messages. ALE and IDocs Relevant Issues (Error Code 51)

Dear Gurus,
I created a Master Data (MD)u2018testmrtu2019 via MM01 in our DEV environment.
Now I want to transfer it into QAS environment via ALE mode. (The ALE configuration work was done.)
The MD was successfully sent from DEV via BD10. (The light was green via WE05 in DEV.)
But Iu2019ve failed when I receiving the MD in QAS and can see error logs via BD73.
Error Log:
Message Type: MATMAS
IDoc Status: 51
Status Grouping: Red Lights.
Status text: Application document not posted.
Double Click 'Application document not posted.' and expand the 'Status Records' of 51, I can see:
'Function module not allowed: AFS_RETAIL_ARTMAS_IDOC_INPUT'.
Have you come across this problem? How to solve the problem?

what process code do you have in WE20 for your partner no for your message type MATMAS?
Is it MATM?
double click the process code.
on next screen you see a identification field
click the button next to it.
there you see which function module is entered to the process code.
For MATM process code it should be IDOC_INPUT_MATMAS01

IPod won't update photos-error code 208

I am having trouble updating my iPod with my photos. It will update my music, but will not transfer any photos. I have uninsalled and reinstalled iTunes, reset and rebooted the iPod, and ensured that my settings to transfer photos are correct: synchronize photos from My Pictures, Copy all photos, Include full-resolution photos. Does anyone have any sugestions?

I am having the same problem, except on a Mac (Powerbook). I just received my new iPod (5thG 60 GB) and it synched all the songs and videos. It won't sync my photos from iPhoto though and gives me a -208 error.
Does anyone know why this is or what can be done to solve this? Thank you.

Secondly when i downloaded the service pack 1 separetly and installed, it got installed without any err.
Basic trouble shooting i have done like
1>reset windows update component
2>Clean boot up option also

I would like to suggest you perform the following steps to troubleshoot this issue:
1.
Stop the Windows Update service temporarily.
2.
Run the following commands to rename the SoftwareDistribution directory.
cd %windir%
ren SoftwareDistribution SDTemp
exit
