N95 - PC Sync not compatible

When I go into syncronise my phone with outlook PC Sync in PC Suite says the my N95 is not compatible. I'm sure it is. How do I fix this problem?

Additional info: yesterday I successfully used the Bluetooth connection all day. PC Suite even recognised and handled me moving out of range and back in range and worked fine each time. I then hibernated my machine overnight. But when I powered back up today PC Suite wasn't recognising that my phone was nearby (other Bluetooth apps worked fine).
So I rebooted, but PC Suite has now decided not to allow Bluetooth (other apps working fine).
So I now turned off Bluetooth on my phone and switched on Infrared. PC Sync has run but is now just sitting showing "Closing databases" on my PC, and "Quitting sync" on my phone.
HELP PLEASE!!!

  • Unable to sync or backup my iPad2 with the new iTunes. I keep getting the error ""iTunes could not back up the iPad because the backup was corrupt or not compatible with the iPad.". I've deleted all the old backups but still get this.

I'm totally frustrated by iTunes and don't know how to solve my problem. Like a lot of people on here I'm not able to sync or back up my iPad2 with my iTunes (version 10.4.1.10). I'm running Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit. My iTunes worked just fine until the 10.4.xx updates came out and since June I've not been able to back up or sync the iPad2.
When I connect and try to sync I get the error message, “iTunes could not back up the iPad because the backup was corrupt or not compatible with the iPad.”
I've deleted all the old backups so there are none on my system. I've deleted iTunes and re-installed the 64bit version several times but it has not made any difference. I've read and followed several suggestions on these boards about how to remove and reinstall everything but none have worked yet. I'm stumped here.

I had the exact same thing with my shuffle - same error message saying that it was corrupt so I restored it (wiping everything in the process) and the same message came up as soon as it reloaded. Thank god I didn't try it with my iPod or iPhone first. So many issues with this new version of iTunes!!!!!!!!

I closed iTunes & manually deleted the file which was still stored locally even though it didn't display in Preferences.  I have vista so I went to
C:\Users\{user name}\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync and deleted everything in the Backup folder (though I left the folder as is).  If you have a different OS search the apple website for the backup location.
I reopened iTunes & Synced with out a problem.  I also got the update to install.
    Good luck.

  • Why will music that previously synced with phone no longer sync, stating not compatible?

Why would music that previously synced to my iPhone no longer sync, stating not compatible.  Had a 4s, 64 GB, that was almost filled to capacity, so when I first got this message I though maybe that had something to do with it.  However, I now have the iPhone 6, 128 GB, and get the same message.  This involves some music that synced to my 4s for 2 to 3 years, and 2 CDs that I downloaded onto my MacBook Pro and into my ITunes library that had also synced previously with no problem.  There may be other music involved also.  Haven't fully investigated the extent of what is not syncing.

    Thank you for your reply,
I checked the songs, they work. The computer was authorized.
Here is another interesting thing, I went to my old computer, and everything syncs (but the library on that comp is old).
I just don't understand why the music won't transfer (because all the other info transfers just fine)
In the phone menu I have everything checked off properly such as (sync all music and playlists).
    Hmm. Any other suggestions?

  • We purchased infinity blade and when we try to sync it on our itouch 3rd gen it says not compatible for this ipod

We purchased an app called infinity blade and when trying to sync it to our 3rd gen ipod touch a message pops up on computer the it is not compatible to this ipod?

Let me guess; you bought an iPod Touch that was labeled as an iPod Touch 3rd gen 8 gigabyte. first off that doesn't exist, apple resold the 2nd gen 8gb when the 3rd gen came out, as it would be a cheaper option for people. the 2nd gen is severely slower than the 3rd gen, and so infinity blade can not run on it, as many current games cannot as they are too powerful and barley work on a 3rd gen already, playing choppily and they lag a ton. Check to make sure the app requirments in the side of iTunes store says your device can work. Many stores labeled the re-release or the 2nd gen, which included the then current update which would have cost money for older devices, as a 3rd gen for some reason, even though Apple did not. If you do not believe me, check on apple for the list of iPod's that exist, labeled "Which iPod do I have?" also, you can check to see if you can update to iOS 5.0.1, the current iOS version, which can only be put on 3rd gen iPod touches and above, without a hack, as there is no more that can be put on older devices, as the new features require a faster CPU and more RAM, again, not enough in a 2nd or lower.

    Hi,
I just bought my new Nokia N95 and I would like to buy a Nokia Car kit that allow me to enable all the features of the N95 so I thought to buy the CK-20W but in the Nokia table of compatibility says that is not compatible with Music with Bluetooth connection (A2DP), I read that Nokia N95 has Bluetooth profile (A2DP) so why doesn’t it work with the CK-20W Music Connection?

  • How can I update my iphone 4 and sync on itunes? All I get is :Could not back up the iphone because the back up is corrupt or not compatible with the iphone. -

Trying to update my iphone to v.5.1.1 however it downloads the version but just at the end of updating my phone I get the message: iTunes could not back up the iphone as the back up was corrupt or not compatible.
    How can I fix this?
    Thanks

The backup and restore from the iCloud was a little unnerving since the restore erased all information from the iPod.  The iCloud backup and restore took a long time, but worked.  I was very grateful.
Trying again to backup to iTunes locally proved to be the same challenging problem.  The same backup to corrupt file was the message.  The status bar showing backup seemed to move faster to start, but then slowed to a creep toward the end before the error.
When trying to restore a backup in iTunes, the "Restore" button is grayed out since it is looking for a local copy.  Any restore would need to be from the iCloud which already worked but isn't the final solution.
Your suggestions were good, I am just in the same boat.  Any thoughts about doing the following?
    1) creating a cloud backup
    2) resetting the iPod to factory defaults
    3) removing all traces of iTunes from my computer and
    4) installing iTunes and setting up iPod from scratch.
This is the next thing on my list.

You can only add songs to your iOS device from iTunes via Wi-Fi sync or via your cable, not Bluetooth.

That's an entirely different issue, unrelated to your iOS devices.
