N95 turned off during software update. No sign of ...

Dear forum user,
Yesterday I tried to update my Nokia N95 with OVI Suite. During the installation I find out that the battery is getting law, so I connected it to the adapter. Then, suddenly my phone turned off and does not start any more. He doesn't show any sign of life (no lights, sounds etc.). OVI suite showed an error message 12052. Is it possible to repaire this kind of problem?

Sorry to hear about the issues your phone is facing. Firstly try removing the battery for a few minutes and then replace and see if that makes any difference (make sure your device's charger is plugged in as well when you put your battery back in)
If this doesn't help then try the "3 finger deep reset". With the phone powered off, depress and hold these three keys simultaneously * 3 green phone and then power on phone using the on/off button whilst keeping the three keys depressed until you hear start-up tone.
This should ONLY be done if the device doesn't power up normally anymore and it wipes everything in the phone memory. Again make sure the the device is plugged into the charger.
If none of this helps it looks like a visit to Nokia Service Centre is called for. You can check this at the below link:

How do i turn off automatic software updat

Every time I turn around, the little icon that wants me to update my creative software on my computer is running. I can't stop it until it tells me my player isn't connected and then I can turn it off. Thing is- I don't want to autoupdate any software and especially not the firmware. I'm worried that the software will start updating when I do have the player connected. The player works just fine at the moment and I really don't want any firmware or software updates, so I need to find out how to turn off that autoupdate feature.

Iphone 4s off during software update in recovery mode. Normal?

My iphone4S crashed during the latest software update. I tried rebooting. Now itunes is completing a software update before it can restore. However, my iPhone is off. Nothing on the screen no matter what I press. Is this normal? I am too afraid to unplug it from the computer. The software update needs 3 hours. I briefly had the itunes/usb logo but it went away the minute itunes started the download. Any advice?

Hi all,
am facing a problem i was updating my mob software version .suddenly,i did lost the USB connection with the Mob cause the connection it self was littel bit lose.
then it stopped updaating.
since that time till this moment am unable to open my mob it gave me balnk screen with nokia word only..

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.
3. Repeat the process if necessary.

they are a priori all in your backups: wait that Link won't be in Beta anymore, and then restore.
P.S.:
You make backups and don't register your contacts on SIM, is it possible ? Personally, I rarely register contacts on SIM. If there is a malware, it can be charged from the SIM to the Phone, this is why.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Freezing up during software update

I just installed loin on one of my hard drives on my early 2008 Mac Pro. During software update the OS either crashes or freezes up.

I was eventually able to correct the problem. It first started because the phone's battery got completely discharged - thought the USB cable would keep it powered but that wasn't the case.
Anyway, tried to reboot the phone by removing and reinstalling the battery and the phone would not turn on, so this is how I understood what happened. Disconnected it from the USB cable and got the following message:
Your BlackBerry® Device Software is updated and you can safely disconnect your device.
Warnings were encountered during the loading process:
Application data could not be restored to the device. The backup data file has been saved to "file name". You can use the Desktop Software Backup/Restore tool to restore this information.
Recharged the phone, did the restore and the phone is back to life !

Try to force your phone into recovery mode. Disconnect it from the computer's USB cord. Turn it off if you can by holding the sleep/wake switch until you see the red slide to off. How does one turn off link auto-update?

When we have an ID file open in CS6 and make a Photoshop edit, the link seems to auto-update. We don't like this as we'd rather 'watch' the update so if comes in as expected, etc.. Can one turn off link auto-update? Thanks!

Are you making the edit by selecting the graphic frame and then choosing Edit Original? This will always auto-update.
If that's not it, you might try clicking Preferences > General > Reset All Warning Dialogs

You can't do much else besides pull the plug. If it causes further problems you should be able to restore as below:
Get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
On the other hand you may be able to simply start the update again. If however the update continues to fail, you should try the restore routine above.
