N95 Video and image Issue

Hey Buddy ,
I have been using N95 for past couple of months , I have few queries if sumone can help will be gr8:
1) The images i take are very blur the edges are all mixed up in an image i tried changing the sharpness to hard , normal as well as soft but the edges of a wall or a person all seems to be mixed up ...
2) In video mode am not able to find the option to turn on the flash ..

i once made a post here on taking photos search for "tips on taking photos" if these tips dont work maybe you need to update your firmware if this also doesnt work take your phone to a service centre

Place video and images in different folder? N73

Hi All,
Once I go: gallery/images and video, all images and video will display together. There is no way to create new folder so that I can put, or hide some private images there.
I've try using PC to do the job, created new folder and place some images in, does't work...
There is no problem on my previous Nokia phone, can anyone care to share or advise?

Unfortunately, some software designer decided that it would be better for users to see all videos and images in one long list no matter where they are, and then require you to use the "Album" feature to organize them.
In other words, the Gallery simply ignores different folders and shows everything in a long list.
There's nothing you can do, except use a different app.
I can only hope that the behaviour returns to something more sensible in future devices.

N72:Videos and Images lost, when updating "phone r...

I had bought N72 1.5 months back. Recently I bought a mem card (1 GB)and copied some audio and video file. On a holiday recorded some videos and images. But suddenly all my audios and videos went missing.
Then again I recorde some, after some time the previous recorded things again missing.
I am residing at a remote place in India where net connection is available but care centre is far from here.
So when I started updatin my s/w through PC and Net. I got all kinds of errors like:
Internal Module error (so I tried regsvr32 C:\WINDOWS\system32\msxml4.dll)
then not done.
Then continuously I am getting phone recovery remove battery and charger, connect battery and charger and retry. I did this too but in-vain.
I even hard reset it "*#some code 7580 or so don't remember#" but also not working
Please help me.

HT1479 DVD with video and images

I need to burn a DVD that contains both video AND images for viewing at another location. My video is not burning correctly, as in the audio drops out and the video gets choppy. I've tried several times on my new souped up iMac w/ OS 10.8. Any ideas?

I have to send the DVD in the mail to another state to be viewed there. It's for a job application, so I need all of the material - both jpgs and .mov files - to be playable on another Mac. This should be cake, but for some reason the .mov files are not transferring in the burn.

Apple TV slideshow with video and images

I want to make a "slideshow" with alternating video clips (from one movie) and pictures.Can I tell the movie to play for a certain amount of time and then switch to an image and then go back to the movie, repeating until the movie is over and then have the whole thing start over? Or can I use iMovie to break up the video and insert the image and make a movie to sync with the AppleTV? Is there an easy way to do this?

Try unplugging all cables for a few mins then try again, if no improvement it's almost certainly had it.

Video and webpage issues since upgrade to Mountain Lion.

I recently installed OSX 10.8(as an upgrade) on Macbook Pro(circa2008) with 2.5 Intel Core Duo processor and 4 gigs of RAM. It had 10.6 on it. Since the upgrade ,video has shown blue squigly lines while playing and web pages show squigly yellow ones. The screengrab is playing a file in quicktime over a Chrome (Safari has same issue) showing yellow lines. The blue lines are there when watching Youtube video as well as while working in iMovie. It does not affect the qualityof video when uploaded. No issues with Jpegs or text files. Only videos and webpages. I'm baffled.

Video and Audio Issues

I am having troubles with playing videos and audio on my macbook pro. When attempting to play videos, the video generally stops playing after 2-3 seconds. The audio starts out choppy and eventually doesn't work at all. This issue persists on all browsers (safari, chrome, firefox), with both flash and HTML5 players. HTML5 players generally seem like they are fast forwarding for 5 seconds then stop. I have tried re-installing flash player and clearing the cache, but that does not fix the issue. I have also logged into a guest account and the issue still persists. Any advice on how to fix this would be welcomed, thank you.

Video and Image Share resize

As a Z10 user I do not find an easy way to share my video by mail. I had to upload it to Box and send it from my computer.
Do you know a way?
As a Cascade developper I'm thinking about developping an open source app to do this:
My app would be registered as a sharing application
It will just crop/resize the video, the image, or zip the file/folders according to the user need and redirect to another sharing application with the same attributes, except the new downsized sharing data
Any guy would be interested to use it or to tell me about a already existing app with similar features?

I think that app would be quite popular. I've seen the video AND picture res-sizing request many times. Some of the photo editing apps will resize, but not easily share from the app.
A simple image/video downsizing or reducing file size function > Share would be nice.

Safari Sluggish on Videos and Image Search

Safari seems to take forever to open videos. On the ABC news site, a video took so long to load, I opened Firefox, loaded the video and watched the whole thing before Safari even started. Also, when I search for images in Google with Safari, the search return is quick, but the images take forever to load. This is not true when I search to Firefox.
I'm not trying to boost Firefox. I love Safari. It's just lately the web surfing experience in Safari has been slooooow. It seem to have been the more recent updates.
Any ideas?

Empty the Safari cache more often. Either from the Safari menu bar, Safari / Empty Cache or press Command + Option + E on your keyboard.

Concatenate / assemble videos and images

Hi all,
I'm trying to concatenate some fotos and videos in one video file.
I'm using Vision Development Module but it's my first experience with it and I don't know if this project is realisable.
I found an example to generate an AVI file from a photo. It works good.
First, I tried to write photos and video (with different sizes) in the same AVI file (like the example in the VIs attached). This gave errors, all datas must have the same size...
The result is that I have to generate an AVI file for each photo an video and after I have to concatenate them...
Is it possible and how?

Yes I have.
It's works but this involved to deform the photos and video.
The must would be really to concatenate diferents files with diferents sizes.

Music Video and song Issue

Hey I was wondering If there is an Option That I am missing or a bug but for my iPhone i have one playlist that has some songs and music videos combined in it. On my iPhone when i click on songs all of the music videos and songs come up but when play a music video i don't get the video and i just get the Sound. but in the video section i just get the Music Videos. is there a way to get rid of the music videos in the songs section.

You would need to remove the music videos from the playlist in itunes and re-sync the iphone.
If that does not help, there is a checkbox, called include music videos, on the music tab in itunes, when the iphone is connected, that you can uncheck.

Is this possible ? And if it is how ? Do I need the latest firmware ?

No, the gallery is not a folder, it uses a database of all image and video files wherever they may be stored on the phone to display the list that you see when you enter the 'images/videos' section.

Sony DSC-RX100 Video and Images supported?

I was wondering about if anyone has a DSC-RX100 that they have successfully used with iPhoto. Successful = imported video & images by connecting their camera to iphoto and clicking import.
I had a dsc-hv9v sony camera which was great until its demise. The issue was the images came over fine but the videos did not. (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5251) Sony uses a MTS (AVCHD) format. Which seems to have issues importing to iphoto.

"more info" in Get Info showing "--" instead of actual infos for newer videos and images

I've just noticed that when I click on "Get Info" on my newer pictures and videos, the "more info" section is now showing "--" instead of the dimensions of the images and videos. However when I go to my older files, the info is showing. Also if I search any of the newer files (those with the missing info) in Spotlight, it doesn't show up. I've done some research and some people suggest reindexing Spotlight, but that never worked for me. In fact, even if I exclude a folder in my Privacy list, it's still showing as a result when I search them. I'm sure this is a problem with Spotlight as it stores the dimensions info, but since reindexing it is not a solution, can it be solved in some other way?

It takes time on newer things, but might have to be opened first or something.
If you want, you can clear the caches with OnyX (#12) and that would rebuild and repair the entire sub-system.

Windows 8.1 Upade video and screen issues

After installing the windows 8.1 update on my very new HP desktop computer I was nothing but dissapointed. First the update messed with my screen and shrunk it. I fixed this problem later. My current unsolved problem is that now I cannot watch youtube videos any higher than 360p at maximum and sometimes this resolution still goes pixalated and choppy, stalling the video. As well as youtube, my sims 3 game now is conciderably less clear and the image quality has been reduced from when I first bought this computer. I was told that this computer (with graphics card) would play my sims wonderfully and it did, until a month after i got it and installed windows 8.1. I am not very good with computers and i would appreciate any help.

I am going to recommend reverting to Win 8.0. I had nothing but problems with my HP computer when I updated to Win 8.1. I blamed the problems on everything but Win 8.1. I finally came to the realization that it was the culprit. I did a full System Recovery using the Recovery Discs and my computer runs far better. I am going to wait a bit to try it again. I am not certain that it is ready for prime time at this point.
