N95 with Fido Caller ringback trax

Hi, every one my service provider is Fido with my own N95. This morning I subscribe with there caller ringback trax service then I setup everything on there website but now its not working. They said N95 is not there company phone they don't no how to configure it beside Rogers have N95. They called I have to set up WAP in my phone,  the helll I dont find anything like that in my phone. Please is there some one can help me about this. 

I found something on the Nokia site that might solve your problem:

Click on the "Download Standard Settings" button
After accepting the disclaimer and clicking on "start" choose your phone from the dropdown menu
Click on "WAP/GPRS"
Choose "Canada" from the dropdown menu
Choose "Fido" from the dropdown menu
Follow the instructions

  • Passport not working with Fido SIM

    I received yesterday my new BB Passport (directly from BlacBerry). I was excited, however it is frustrating now. My passport is not detecting Fido mobile network. I did lots of troubleshooting with Fido on the phone but nothing worked. I tried the SIM on an IPhone 5 and it worked. Clearly, the problem is the Blackberry device. Now since I bought it directly from BB; only BB can fix the problem. However, no phone support is available from BB. I have to ship back to them. It is frustrating. The WiFi interface is working fine

    So, I just got off a long call with blackberry at this phone number: 877-644-8405. 
    I was also provided another phone number by that agent which is more specific to the passport: 877-255-2377
    They have confirmed for me that this issue is the fault of blackberry, not fido. 
    They have confirmed that they are currently 'working on it' with 'no estimated time of completion'
    So, that isn't really a good deal. Its to the point where I have to look at porting my number to a different provider whose sim card is actually recognized without issues by the bb passport. Needless to say, this is a huge hassle for me on a phone that I purchased outright for $700.
    The good news is that when the issue is resolved, blackberry withh use a push notification to send the updated firmware for the device, and this will resolve the issue. So, if you can live without your phone until the fix is completed, then you're golden.

  • Problem with SPA232D + SPA302D ringback tones??

    I recently installed a new SPA232D ATA and SPA302D DECT handset onto our office network, which already uses a trusty SPA525G2 desk phone. Both the SPA525 and the SPA232 register with a hosted SIP provider on separate lines. I don't have any other phones (analgoue or otherwise) connected to the SPA232. After configuring the device and entering a bunch of regional settings, most things with the new phone work as expected.
    However, when I use the SPA302 handset (via the SPA232) to call the SPA525, I hear an odd ringback tone that sounds only once followed by silence until the call is picked up or goes to VM. The destination phone continues to ring and can be picked up as normal to initiate the call. Also, the tone is different from the ringback tones entered into the regional settings of either device. Calling other phones and other numbers (outside my SIP account) result in ringback tones that are correct for our region. I did a very quick syslog capture with wireshark and I see a 100->183->200 SIP sequence on these calls, whereas other calls seem to show a 100->180->200 sequence. I didn't see any 182s. Not sure if that is important.
    Any idea what might cause this?
    Also, a couple of other minor problems reagrding the SPA232D + SPA302D combo:
    - The SPA232 will not automatically register to the SIP service after a reset or power cycle, and makes no attempt to reconnect after the intial failure. It will register immediately, however, if the voice component is restarted after a config change in the http GUI. I have set network delay to 0, but noticed no difference.
    - The SPA232 (or SPA302) seems to ignore most regional settings. Changes to tone frrequencies and cadences in the config make no difference to the tones heard through the SPA302. Do these need to somehow be resynced with the handset?
    Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

    It IS important. The 180 code is "generate ringback tone locally" command. The callers phone will create ringback tone according it's (regional) configuration. The 183 code is "I will sent you ringback tone as audio" - so local phone generate no tone, just play what it come via audio channel from called device or target exchange to it.
    So you need to check configuration of exchange that connect call from SPA232D to SPA525 (e.g. call with broken ringback tone).

  • Problems with conference calls(adding and merging calls) after upgrade to ios 8.1.2 on iphone 5s

    I am having weird problem intermittently with adding calls or merging them or swapping them. The issue happens 8 out of 10 times whenever I try to do a conference call. This issue came up after I upgraded to 8,1.2. Never experienced this in 8.1.1 or previous version.
    Some of the scenarios that I have experienced is:
    1. While on the call, when I try to add a new contact, it just doesn't dial the second number.
    2. Sometimes the second number gets dialed, cannot merge the calls.
    3. After talking to the second person, cannot go back to the first call.
    I am very sure that this is not a carrier issue as it worked flawlessly before upgrade.
    Anyone experienced this before? Any suggestions?

    Thanks for the above infromation. I did a complete restore of my iphone through iTunes connecting it to my computer via cable. iOS8.1.3 was re-installed. I then added back my settings and data which were backed up prior to restoring the phone. I still have the same issue with conferencing and adding a third caller. When I hit the [+] box, the existing caller is not put on hold. The phone appears to be making a call but it is not dialing to the 3rd party. Shortly thereafter, the Merge icon appears but there is no active call to merge with. I have tried this several times using my wife's iPhone and our home phone to set up a 3-way call. I know it is not working because the 3rd phone (our home phone) does not ring. Is this a hardware problem? My wife's iPhone 6 works with no problem and was purchased the same time I purchased my iPhone 6. Probably time for a visit to the Apple Store unless there is another solution.

    When we try to test the RFC connection from the WAS Abap to the portal ( WAS JAVA ) using  SM59  , the test is hanging but we can read in the bottom of the screen 'Connexion bcv51sf2... OK' !!!
    The test connection works sometimes .
    But when it’s not working  , with the debug mode , I can see that the program SAPLSSFG/LSSFGU19 is hanging in the function module  SSF_GET_PARAMETER with a call to the function SSFC_PARSE_CERTIFICATE

    As i said in the first post , the RFC test is hanging sometimes but now it seems that it's not  hanging everytime at the same line of the abap code , if i can trust the debugger !
    ...and after another RFC test , now all the RFC to the portal are working ...
    It seems that when it's hanging , it's at the end of the functions ( SYSTEM_CALLSTACK
    or CONVERSION_EXIT_ISOLA_OUTPUT or SSF_GET_PARAMETER ) .
    A memory or OS problem ?

  • Problems with a call transaction

    Hi, I'm having some problems with a call transaction and I cannot understand why. I put A in the mode, and I am seeing the dynpros and I am pressing enter it works perfectly but when I use mode N it tells me that there is not information for one of the dynpros and it doesn't work. Does anybody know the problem and how to solve it??

  • Contact names not showing with incoming calls!!!

    Hi all,
    I just got my E71-1 yesterday and upgraded from a very effiecient E61i....everything was going smooth until all of a sudden, contact names stopped appearing with incoming calls and SMS's.
    I went through the forums searching for a solutions and apparently alot of people experienced the same thing.....except in my case, I do not have any duplicate names or numbers!!!!
    Any ideas what could solve this???

    There is a fix for it but you won't like it. I have tried it a few times and it always works but it involves a lot of work. This is what you do.
    1. Make a backup of nothing else but your contacts only.
    2. Delete all your contacts from both phone and sim card.
    3. Start by entering the troublesome contacts from scratch making sure not to duplicate any numbers.
    4. Now get those people to ring you to make sure that your CLI is working fine.
    5. If it works then start entering the rest of the numbers, once again making sure there is no duplication whatsoever.
    6. If it doesn't work, just restore the backup you made of your contacts.
    I am fairly sure it will work, but just in case it doesn't you can always restore your backup and you are back to square one.

    We are working on SAP 4.6C version.
    I am looking for a function module to create delivery with JIT Calls.
    We are currently using the SAP standard function module "SHP_VL10_DELIVERY_CREATE" to create Delivery with JIT Calls. Each JIT Calls has apx 60-80 materials in it and each material refers to a unique Scheduling Agreement. This function module is taking very long time in production server to create delivery, it does not take much time in dev or quality server.
    We have JITV setting profile (For Sold To Party and Partner Description Profile) set as RELACE (to summarize the line items in JIT Call).
    Is there another function module that we can use to create delivery with JIT Calls?

    Skype for Symbian has been discontinued and stopped working. Since the Nokia C5 works with Symbian S60 you won't be able to use Skype any longer. Please read this:

    Your iPhone can take multiple calls. If you answer your phone from one person or call someone and another call comes into you, you will hear a beep and if you pull your phone away from your ear, you will see that you can hang up the call with the 1st person or answer the 2nd call and then swap between the two.
    I have no idea what you mean by you calling someone who is already talking to someone. I've never been able to see on my iPhone that someone I'm calling is already talking to someone else.

  • PC Sync to N95 with Outlook very slow

    Hey There
    I'm using the latest PC Sync on Windows XP Pro to sync with my N95 with the company Exchange/Outlook 2007.
    It seems as though PC Sync is synching the whole calendar and contacts every time (2000+ items). We're talking so long that, if I'm working over a VPN from home, the phone times out after 15-20 minutes. The whole process is taking some 30 mins to complete this way!
    Things are faster when docked at work or off-line, but waiting even 5 minutes with a few calendar changes in a day is crazy.
    Any ideas what to do? Surely it doesn't need to re-read Exchange every time?

    Unfortunately there is a need to re-read calendar data from Exchange every time due to the fact that it is the only way to find out if something is deleted from the calendar.
    But I think you can make the process faster if your Outlook settings are such that you use the cached exchange mode so you have full items locally in our Outlook always. Then you are not so dependant on the connection speed.
    At least this is my experience or then my connection speed off work is fast enough and since I have autosync over bluetooth everytime I connect phone to pc, the sync is so seemless that I hardly ever even think of it, I am just synced.
