N97 alarm not sound at configured time

I need help, urgently. I just got my n97 for 2 week now my alarm not working on a stable condition.
I configure my alarm at 6:30 am for workday (mon-fri) but it never alert me at 6:30 am but at a later time like 6:34 am. So I change it to 6:25 am and it alerted the alarm at 6:30 am, why ??? I configure my timezone at Singapore timezone and time change automatic to on mode. Snooze at 3 minute. Had I left out something. By the way, I set my profile to silent mode. But it should not affect as I used to do that with my old Sony Ericson.

I had this problem last week! I must say this is the worst phone I have ever had in my life. Everything takes twice as long to do than other phone because of the stupid menus and time it takes to open applications.
My alarm did not go off at all. I called my boss who was not pleased at all and gave me an massive **bleep** kicking over the phone. In complete desperation (as the phone would not switch back on, I was only presented with a white screen with the blue nokia logo) I had to hard reset the phone (3 finger solute).
I was told this was an issue with the firmware so I HAD to get the new firmware on the phone. 3 UK were still on version 11.x.x and I knew version 20.x.x was available so I debranded my phone. I am not on version 20.x.x.x and I still have the problem. Luckily my other half is getting up the same time as me this week and her alarm went off the other day and my alarm did not sound at all. I powered on the phone which took around 5 attempts (when i pressed the power key it vibrated and the screen went white, then did nothing and switched off) and no alarm sounded.
THIS IS MY LAST ATTEMPT!
Someone mentioned that if you switch the phone to automatically update the date/time it will sort the problem. I have done this but if the phone does not sound the alarm again this week the phone can go back to Nokia and I will take them to court if they do not clear/pay for my contract with 3 as I am moving to another network. This phone is full of bugs, nobody seems to be bothered to fix them, Nokia are bringing out the N900 and seem to be spending all of their time on that. I am going to buy a sony with a windows mobile O/S or something with the android O/S by HTC.

Multi-mapping not found at configuration time

I have defined an interface mapping that takes one msg interface as source and two msg interfaces as targets - the underlying message mapping is a multi-mapping.
However , when I go to configuration time - and create a enhanced interface determination - and drop down - to pick up multi-mapping - it says no objects found !!!
I double check the sender interface and its link with the SWCV , the interface mapping - everything is ok . Coud anybody help me - as to why my multi-mapping is not being picked up at configuration time ( I also check the runtime cache - everything is ok )

4s alarm not sounding when sound off

Isn't that the purpose of an alarm - so it gets you up in the morning? Can it sound if the sound is turned off? I have been a Mac user for 17+ years and I am missing my blackberry for more than this reason. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Centro Alarm Not Sounding

This morning my alarm on my Palm Centro decided not to work like it usually does. The screen lights up but it won't vibrate or make any sound. It doesn't even show the window at the bottom that allows you to snooze/clear, etc. Any ideas??? Thanks.

Treo 680 Alarm not sounding

Help! I was given a treo 680 which I love. The other day the alarm stopped giving its warning for appointments in the calendar. Not good! I have tried everything I can think of but know I must have missed something. Is this a problem or have I simply accidentally turned it off somehow?

Alarm not sounding

A weird intermittent problem. I use my ipod as an alarm clock, playing music through speakers. Normally it works fine. But occasionally it doesn't play the music, although the dialogue box asking to snooze or dismiss does come up, so clearly the ipod thinks it has set off the alarm. I can't work out what's going wrong. The alarm is still set to a playlist, not to a beep. I'm not still in the alarm part of the menu. Any ideas?

Random notes not sounding

I use a Motif ES6 for external sounds for sequencing on the GM tracks and the ESX24 for internal sounds for sequencing on the Instrument tracks, I possibly have a combination of 8-10 tracks recorded when I experience this problem. Tracks will start missing random notes during playback. When I open the matrix editor, the notes are still there, and each time I stop and play it back, its a different note that seems to cut out. Very frustrating!!! I'm wondering if its a lack of disk space issue. I'm also using Vienna instruments and occassionally it will stop playing and a message will appear saying there is a Core Audio Engine Overload, but resumes as normal when I hit ok. Any suggestions as to why there could be notes not sounding at different times? Its very random and usually only happens on one track at a time.

Could you describe your Mainstage concert a bit? Which Plug-ins are you using? Do you have the same problems if using Garageband or Logic?
From the desscription above I'd look after occasional CPU overloads, which can happen while the instruments does its voice allocations, etc. This can be tamed with an increased buffer size. Check, if the I/O safety buffer is enabled. Try playing with that setting. You'll find these things in teh preferences.

I'm not sure I understand the question, is the message tone going more then once?
Turn off repeat message alert here:
settings > notifications > messages > repeat alert > never
Some people have found this does not stop the repeat miessage tone,
if you are one of those then I suggest you contact Apple:

Simple.. bridge the TC.. in the apple utility in the NAT and DHCP area.
Plug it into the FIOS router.. you can turn off wireless in the TC if you want.. or use it.. it can work faster if you are nearby and can select 5ghz.. but up to you.

Use Find Any File, if the old messages might have been in a specific mailbox, to look for a file by the name of the mailbox to see if there are any larger versions of that mailbox.

If your Mail is indeed gone, you may be able to recover it with one of the data recovery tools here:

But act quickly. Every action while the computer is turned on weakens its chances of recovery. There is a slim chance also your email provider may have tape backup from before you checked your messages and after it arrived at their server for certain messages. You may want to ask them if that might have happened.

Alarm clock under Utilities not sounding

After the update to 4.2, is anyone else's alarm not ringing? It goes off, but there is no sound. Apple would like $29 to help me with this problem. After updates, they should be a little more helpful.

to be honest these are the solutions that may or may not work..
first thing I would try is rebooting the phone by holding the sleep/wake button and home button for 15 seconds until you see the white apple logo
if that doesn't work I would restore from backup and if that doesn't work I would restore as new if all else fails take it to your closest apple store they may replace the phone for a working one..

IPHONE 5 alarm not working

So I've been having problems with my iPhones alarm. For instance, this morning, I woke up 10 minutes after my alarm was supposed to go off, it didn't. It also didn't pop up in the screen like it usually does. Help!!

This may sound stupid but there are two settings you need to check to get sound. Recently mine turned off for no reason. First, go to settings>sounds and there is a bar that says "ringers and alerts". Make sure the volume here is all the way up.
Secondly, on the alarm menu, edit the alarm that is not sounding. Beneath the alarm time, you will see a section describing "repeat", "label", "sound" and "snooze". Click "sound" and make sure you choose a sound. If "sound" says "none" then it will not play.
Like I said, these turn of randomly on me all the time when updating and doing other things on my phone so just check them.

KT4V Shutdown with Alarm (not beep)

I put in a new MB (KT4V) and after about a half an hour, the machine suddenly shuts down and an alarm (not a beep) sounds endlessly (until case is unplugged). What is with this? Is this the Continous Beeps (Video or Memory failure)?

You may need to update command w32tm /config /syncfromflags:domhier /update, to change the IntranetServer w32time type to nt5ds (this sets the service to pull from the AD).
