i wan to use English as display language, and i also hope i can see chinese too as msg which i received cant display chinese + the music folder and i wan input chinese as well to rename my folders/files, ... so i wish who can ask me about this , i really thanks him/her .

You want phone language to be english, but you want it to be able to show chinese as well? You'll have to install a third party font pack application which supports both english and chinese. Like this one:

I've a problem.
My OS 10.5 is in english, my photoshop is in english but as an input device I'm used to the Swiss German Keyboard.
I've a problem with the keyboard mapping. and specifically with this function:

My keyboard doesn't have that key.
How do I remap the function to another key (best solution)
or how do i remap that key (backslah) to anther key?

Display arabic language problem

Hi ,
i use netbeans 6.9.1 to create a java application .
i have a textbox ,combobox and button and data base table. while i run my program from netbeans i can insert into text
box arabic word then click add to store word into data base table and combobox.
while i run my program from cmd or by double click jar i can write arabic word into text box , but when i click button . it adds ????????? into combbox
running from netbeans

display : محمد
running as standalone application
write :محمد

You have to install the Hindi font

Print adobe form in local language (Hindi)
Make sure the two things available:
1. Embed fonts option enabled.
This option is available in Designer->File->Form Properties->Save Options panel
Important: This will work only for PDF files (not for XDP)
2. Adobe Reader Extended Languages support font pack installed on the target machine the Hindi font is not installed.
You have to include the hindi font in ADS . Refer to SAP note 1565508.
Also Refer to Note 1022238 - Form FP_TEST_42 for simple test of several fonts.

Phew, that's a mouthful.
Hello! I've got my nifty 8310 with me on a three month trip to China, but it won't recognize any Chinese characters. This is becoming quite a bother, as there have been numerous things I've had to decipher through mainly guesswork.
Could someone point me to a link or website where I could possibly download the software needed to add a new input language (if that's what I need), or perhaps even display language?

You may go to th Setup wizard to change the language options as Chinese, doinh so, you then can read chinese of course and have no problem showing english on you device at the same time

No need to create any customer exit variable for this ..
You have standard variable CMONTH this displays current month summation. Just restrict your Key figure with this variable.
And in properities of Key figure goto Calculations> Local Calculations> select Summation.
If you want to assign some calday at run time sure you need to create customer exit variable using Step_2 value in enhancements(CMOD).

How to change the input language ?

Hello,
I am writing an Add-on that needs to change the input language when the user
clicks on the Item Code field ("5") in the "Item Master Data" form.
I can perform the change when I am out side of the SAP application (for example if I create a Windows Form), however I cannot control the input language of the SAP itself through code.
I even tried using Application.Sendkeys, however I was unable to send a combination of ALT+SHIFT, or at least it did not have any affect
Here is the code on how to change the input language on a Windows Form:

I am not sure I understand the problem. Anyway in B1 you change the language by
changing it from the Administration module. This raises a Application event that
is sent to all the add-ons. The event is aet_LanguageChanged and you should
then change the language handled by your add-on when you receive it.

Issue with Full Screen & Input languages (Mavericks 10.9.1)

I have two issues with the latest (Version 8.0.24308) Microsoft Remote Desktop from the Mac App store:
1. If I tick the connection entry "Start session in fullscreen" option, after connect the desktop slips upwards like on the screenshot (below on the link)
2. The default input method switches to Latvian after connect (never used Latvian anywhere...).
On my Mac:
- System language: Hungarian
- Input language: Hungarian
On the server:
- System language: English
- Input language: Hungarian (default) + English
+: the app doesn't supports Retina display resolution :(

Important information for users of 10.9: if you have disabled "Displays have separate Spaces" in Mavericks
(System Preferences > Mission Control) go to Preferences > Resolution in the Microsoft Remote Desktop client and configure the setting using the same option.
Please try the OS X native mode and see how it works.
2. The OS keyboard locale, is suggested to the remote PC. Therefore, please check the keyboard locale.

OS Language Vs. Input Language. How they can coexist?

Hello everybody.. I'm dealing with a Language conflict..
My Mac OS X 10.5.8 Leopard works in English, but my Input Language (almost everywhere: MS Word, Textedit, Browsers, ect.) is Italian.
Here I have a problem: when I write in italian, the OS automatically use the English Grammar Test and signs as wrong almost every words!
To avoid it, I must turn the OS Language to Italian.. but I'd like to keep the OS in English (even with Italian input language).
Is it possible in someway?

Not sure how many Apps this works for, but say in Text Edit...
In TextEdit, you have the option to run a spell check session in a different language. To do this, go to the Edit menu and choose "Show Spelling and Grammar" from the "Spelling and Grammar" submenu. With the checker open, choose the desired language you would like to use from the menu at the bottom of the window.

Changing input language freezes the system

Hello,
when switching from one input language to the other in a time period of one minute or less, the system freezes for 30 seconds and sometimes even more.
Has anyone ever had such an issue?
Any ideas what causing the system to freeze?

i want to know can (Report Painter) display differnet language in one report depends on different user login.
like user with chinese lang login can display chinese in the report

user with english lang login can display english in the report?

currently i am using "change text" to type in description(english) by manual(), and the problem comes out when i login with other lang, say chinese lang for example, the column and row didn't display any text on it(all blank) after different lang login.
so just wonder is there any way to have a auto translation when different lang login.

I had the same problem but found the solutaion by chance.
1. On the lowest row of keys push the second one on the left (arrow upward). It is "Shift" if I am not mistaken.
2. Immidiately after press nearest key to the right "Sym" (not simulteneously)
Window with languages should pop up.
Those who have had experience with E-71 know, that this function is available when you have opened a new sms or e-mail. But it does not work in an ordinary waiting mode.

Form fields won't display input information

We are having a very odd issue that's happened on two occassions. We have a basic PDF form where someone has input information into various fields, but the information doesn't display, unless you click within the field. At that point you can see what's been typed in. As soon as you tab to the next field, the information is no longer visable -- it's still there, but you can't see it. I don't know if this is relavent, but it's interesting that one part of the form has some checkboxes and that information displays with no problem.
One form was one we created in-house, and we've been using it for about 9 months with no problems at all. The other form is an external form that was sent to us.
Neither of these are a LiveCycle designer form.
We get the same results regardless of whether we open within Mac or Windows.
Both forms, in their final state, were emailed to us via an outside source (different, unrelated sources). That seems to be the only common attribute.
Any ideas?

One thing you can try is opening the form in Acrobat, exporting the form data to an FDF file, and re-import it.
You can also run a JavaScript the will correct things as much as possible. For example, see: http://blogs.adobe.com/pdfdevjunkie/script_to_fix_mac_osx_previewa.html
I've written a script that is more comprehensive in that it addresses other type of fields. Post again if you'd like it.
Please note, though, that any of these methods can only do so much. Preview screws things up in a way that's not easily reversible.

Language problem in JSP please help

My problem is Turkish language problem in JSP.
If my jsp page use database applications such as push or pull data to my SQL 2000 database or call some datas from database, some data which contains turkish caracter are seen wrong. suc as �� is to ??????

I have a similar problem.
My database is storing the characters correctly and they can be viewed in Java, but when I try to convert them to unicode using:
String inputUtf8 = new String(input.getBytes(),charset);
it works for almost all characters, but some come through as noncharacter "boxes."
The characters that come through as boxes in iso8859-1 are the ones that are in the "supplementary" character range of that set, such as:
- curved left and right quotes
- "TM" symbol
- bullets
- m dash and n dash

Any idea what I need to do to have these characters show up properly?

Thai Language problem with informix ODBC

I have a problem about crystal report connected informix database.
It displays Thai language incorrectly such as ºÃÔÉÑ· Ë¹Öè§ÈÙ¹ÂìË¹Öè§.
Informix ODBC version is IBM Informix 3.82 32 BIT and crystal report version 11.
