N97 Mini keeps losing Facebook

My N97 mini keeps losing Facebook - I've downloaded the Facebook mobile app, which works fine but then suddenly it disappears and I cannot get onto Facebook at all. I've tried downloading it from OVI store but it won't let me (as I've already downloaded it).....any suggestions???

If you look in Application manager>Installed Apps and scroll down the list, hi-lite facebook>Options>Remove. Then go to Ovi store and download again !!
However !! I would personally try a couple of other apps, which are free
Tou can set Facebook as one of the 9 panels on Opera Mini (as well as getting MUCH faster web browsing) and the latest Facebook feature on Snaptu is really nice !! Try them, just go to these addresses with your phones browser and download and install to E Mass memory

IPad mini keeps losing wifi connection

Since yesterday my iPad mini keeps losing the wifi connection, especially when playing video on YouTube. Stopping the You Tube app and starting Safari seems to restart it temporarily but only for a short while. I've tried reinstalling the YouTube app, but it then happened playing You Tube via Safari. I've reset my router and deleted all cookies, browsing history and rebooted the iPad. Even done a complete new install of the iPad after the iOS update failed (grrrr) and deleted everything but this issue was happening before the update and after the rebuild.
Any Ideas or help gratefully accepted.

Mac Mini keeps losing iTunes authorization

I have a Mac Mini that keeps losing its authorization to play new iTunes content. Each time I try to use it, I have to deauthorize it and then reauthorize it to play the content
My iTunes content is stored and shared from another PC. So when I fire up the Mac Mini, I select my shared library. Then when I try to play new content, that's when it tells me the computer is not authorized to play the content. After deauthorizing it and then reauthorizing it, the new content will play.
This problem only occurs with new content that has been downloaded since the last time I used the Mac Mini. Existing content plays just fine.
Does anyone know what the problem might be?

This normally happens when your neighbor and you are using the same WiFi channel. Try changing the default channel in System Preferences -> Network.

Why does my mini keep losing signal

I have a G4 mac mini and have it connected to my TV, however it keeps losing signal does anybody why?

can you try to fix the problem into a corner maybe, by checking if you can connect to another TV or Monitor, or by exchanging the cable?

Mac Mini keeps losing network connection

I have a Mac Mini 1.1 running 10.6.8, which I use as a headless media server at home. It connects to my BT Infinity 3 router via ethernet cable, and the Wifi is disabled. I connect to it remotely via dns through dyn.com. Other products sharing the network include 2 iPhones, an MBP and a windows laptop.
The problem;
Every few days, the Mac Mini will dissapear from the network and cannot be reached either through the shared devices menu or through Remote Desktop. Only a hard reset of the Mac brings it back. Can anyone help me identify what's causing this problem?

Help! My IPod Mini keeps losing all the songs I put on it!

A while ago I noticed that the battery life of my IPod mini(original) was getting shorter, however didnt really mind because I didnt use it that often. However I updated it with the new ipod software that my itunes suggested when I plugged it in to my computer. However since then its been going crazy. It wont play anything and just switches back to the apple sign. So I restored it using the ipod updater but it still has the same problem. Ill leave it to update, then it will list everything on it, but once I select something to play it turns it self off. Then once I manage to turn it back on again all the titles are gone. Have tried all the steps on the support page, really dont know what to do with it now!

Have you considered that it may need battery replacement, especially since you said battery life was getting noticeably shorter? Is it still under warranty?
If not, Google "ipod batteries" for alternatives to Apple.
If you want to use Apple, they do an out of warranty battery replacement programme.

It is possible that your printer or your iPad is on the fringe of your wifi router's range. You should be able to check the signal strength on the printer.

Nokia N97 Mini Wi-Fi Keeps Seaching

I am experienceing a very unpleasant problem with my N97 mini and so far I haven't seen any recommendations or recovery tips on this one. When I go into the WLAN settings and start searching for a connection (for example my home Wi-Fi), the phone just keeps searchin and never stops. In the back it only show "Other (Hidden Network)". I've also tried to you the hidden and typing in the name of my home network. Didn't work. I updated the software, tried a few other things, still nothing. It just keeps on searching...
Please help me and let me know if someone had the same problem.

If it is your own wifi then you should have the passphrase if you set it up or altervatively, some routers come with the security preset in the factory in which case the passphrase is usually printed on the label underneath the router.
There are a few possible reasons why your phone may not be seeing the router. The most common is the router is set to hide SSID. Check router settings to make sure SSID is not hidden.

The click when I turn it off, the notification when I get a text, the notification when I send an e-mail, but most importantly, the sound on videos that I watch on facebook. You transfer the data (including text messages) and settings from your old phone to your new one by backing up your old phone and restoring this backup to your new one (see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2109). This must have been what your girlfriend did.
If you never backed up your old phone and it doesn't work now, it's too late.

Tried in vain for 2 days now to complete simple task of going to Ovi store and downloading...to no avail
Can anyone email me the inst. file to [email protected] or post a link to somewhere online ( other than OVI store) where i can Dl this?

Samsung Jet is a feature phone, and you have a smartphone. A feature phone usually does not have all these kind of troubles because it is a closed system wherein there is very little things we could do to alter the way it runs. A smartphone on the other hand is more open, and a wrong installation, or other factors could cause problems.
For a more general fix, since we do not know what the possible causes of your phone's general slowing down, you could do a reset to factory settings. type in *#7780# on your dialler. This will not delete any data, but it is advisable to do a backup of everything except settings.
Please return if there be anymore problems. Also please say if you have a memory card installed in your phone, or do you remember doing anything before the problem, such as installing an app or a firmware update.

Usb keeps disconnecting n97 mini

its impossible to install to or backup from my n97 mini. Everything is fine until an installation or backup and then i get the rror that usb is disconnected half way throuhg. Happens on both ovi and pc suite. Any help on this?

I've had my share of "fun" with connecting devices to my pc's. Faulty usb cables, faulty usb ports, driver issues, other funny issues with the OS not detecting the device, 3rd party programs messing up everything etc. This "manouvers" mentioned above are no absolute solution. It might work sometimes. Often a reboot of the pc seems solve a lot.
I'm glad it helped some of you anyway! And for the love of, I'm no genius. Such alternating between how to connect, reboot etc is just something I try when I don't know better.
Also, Pc suite and Ovi suite seems to dislike each others. I try to stick with one of the programs.

My mac mini keeps dropping wifi connectivity

Hi Folks,
My new Mini keeps dropping wifi connectivity so I lose the connection to Apple TV and even just browsing on Safari seems painful hoping a page will load before losing connectivity. I reset my router, restart the mini and it intermittently keeps happening. Has anyone come up with a workable solution?

System Preferences>Network, top of window>Locations>Edit Locations, little plus icon, give it a name.
10.5.x/10.6.x/10.7.x/10.8.x instructions...
System Preferences>Network, click on the little gear at the bottom next to the + & - icons, (unlock lock first if locked), choose Set Service Order.
The interface that connects to the Internet should be dragged to the top of the list.
If using Wifi/Airport...
Instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed.
For 10.5/10.6/10.7/10.8, System Preferences>Network, unlock the lock if need be, highlight the Interface you use to connect to Internet, click on the advanced button, click on the DNS tab, click on the little plus icon, then add these numbers...
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
(There may be better or faster DNS numbers in your area, but these should be a good test).
Click OK.
