N97 Mini - Phone Data Lost when Lock Code is chang...

Hi,
I have changed the 'Lock Code' of my N97 mini under Settings>Phone>Phone Management> Security Settings> Phone and SIM Card> Lock Code. And to my surprise, after I changed the Lock Code, I found that all my contacts, messages and notes are lost. But Photos/Videos/Recorded files are available. I have tried all the ways but could not see the contacts/messages/notes/calendar entries. Unfortunately I donot have a back up of the data. Is there a way to restore the contacts/messages/notes on the phone?

That won't work... reason being is you need the following requirements for the iPhone 4.

[N97 mini] phone freaks out when I want to pick up...

Is there some sort of workaround, tweak or app available that can prevent my phone from freaking out when I want to receive a phone call? It is simply impossible to see who is calling because the display will not display anything for a few seconds when it's rotated. It is also not possible to use the slider keys to pick up or decline the call. Is there some way to prevent the display from rotating without disabling auto rotating all together?

1. iTunes Menu > Store > Authorize This Computer
2. iTunes Menu > Store > Sign in
3. iTunes prefs > Devices > Prevent .... from syncing automatically
4. With iTunes open, connect phone
5. iTunes Menu > File > Devices > Transfer Purchases
6. iTunes Menu > File > Devices > Backup
Now safe to sync. You will lose any music/media on the phone that was NOT purchased from the iTunes Store (i.e. ripped CD's, MP3's from other sources)

My Nokia n97 mini was stolen, and when i found it ...

I have a problem, my Nokia n97 mini was stolen, and when i found it my "lock code" was chandged. . .i used "hard reset" bud my phone dosent work at code 12345 or 0000. . .how can I ever found out witch is the code after "hard reset" ? O.o

As per your post, hard reset does not work because the code was changed. If that is the case, we can suggest you to do the Key Combination Reset for your phone. You can do this by:
1. Opening the slide of your phone
On the keyboard, press simultaneously Shift (left) + Space + Backspace and press the Power button
If the hard reset is successful, the device is reset to factory settings and boots up prompting for the country, date and time settings. However, if this will not work successfully on your phone, the best option that we can do is to bring the phone to the nearest Nokia Care Center within your place for the to be reset to its original setting by our authorized technicians.

To change table data runtime when dropdown item is changed

I need to display table as per drondown index item selection. Means i have to change table data runtime when dropdown item is changed.Please help me in that .Please provide code for same.

On the view create a new action. Fill only the Name and Text and leave the other items default.
In this event you can populate the table fields.
Bound this newly created action (event) to the onSelect property of the 'DropDownByIndex'.

N97 mini phone memory

Hello,
I have a N97 mini which i like but it started coming up with memory error messages and saying i needed to close applications, also the max amount of text i could have on my phone was 85. i have unistalled most of the pre-installed Apps which has free'd up some memory space on my phone. the memory messages have stopped now but i was wondering if there are any other files i can delete to free up even more space on the phone.
I currently have 223MB free on my phone. is this a good amount ? or can more be found ?

One problem that I had after phone crashes on the N97 mini was that some of my settings changed causing data to get stored on device memory instead of mass memory. The two biggest culprits were messaging and podcasting.
Check your settings for both of these programs to make sure that they are not saving to device memory.
You can also go to settings/phone/application settings and check all of your applications to see what memory they are using.
If, like me, you are syncing with an exchange server and have hundreds of contacts, hundreds of calendar entries and thousands of e-mails, it won't take long for your device memory to get maxed out. That will cause problems running basic tasks.

NTFS data lost when read on Mac OS X Mountain Lion

I am having external disk with NTFS and using Mac OS X Mountain Lion to work with the data inside the disk.
However I encountered problems when working with those data in Mac, somehow the data inside several directories on NTFS disk are lost.
The data lost was not because it was deleted, the data just lost directly when it was opened on the mac.
From the Mac's Finder, it is said that the size of the directories were zero bytes.
When I connected the disk to windows machine after that then it keep showing 0 byte. The data was lost permanently just after I opened it from Mac - the data was there previously before I openned it in Mac, but right now it's gone.
It's happened two times on different NTFS disks, it seems that Mac OS X deleted those files on NTFS disks.
Has anyone here encounterred the same problems like I did?
How to prevent it from deleting NTFS data again?
Is there any way how to recover those lost NTFS data?

Data lost when download data after ALV display in background

Hi, everyone, first i display the data in ALV Grid, then I upload the data into sap application sever, it is ok in foreground. But when i run the program at background and the data is more then one page in spool list, the file on application server will lost and only has data in last page of spool list. Is this SAP standard behavior? please advice, thanks.

There is a simple logic.
First i get all data and keep the data in interal table T_LIST.
Then call function REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY to display data in T_LIST.
Third, Using statement OPEN DATASTET and TRANSFER to upload data in T_LIST into application server.
In fact, it will be ok if run the program foreground. it will also be ok if upload data into appllication server before display data with ALV grid. But i just want to know the root cause why data lost in my current design. thanks.

Data lost when sql is very time-consuming

the exported data as pdf file was incomplete:
only the first page exported when it's supposed to be three pages.

You need to optimize your SQL statement. Use a Stored Porcedure or something Server side rather than Client side.

I am using Jdeveloper 11.1.1.3.0 . I have an application , that has 2 show detail items , have data in both the items . I am maintaining my application idle for 12 min . After that i am trying to do some action in one of the tabs like navigating from one tab to the other tab. i find the data getting lost . I mean 10 min as i have maintained my "idle instance time out " for the am used as 600s - 10 min.
But when i try doing the same in a sample application created using HR schema , i do not find any data loss.

The thing is the following now, using default timings:
FSB 216 = systems seems to run stable. -> Everest shows 6036 MB/s / Latency 48.3 ns
FSB 218 = Had problems playing FEAR.
Now I decided to go for the GC, I've used coolbits to overclock my GC the max it could, using the auto detect.
From the max values I reduced like 20% of the total oc in both memory and GPU. As soon as I tried to test it the screen started to blink.
Now I think I know what happened before, I think the stdby was lowering the clocks and this somehow causes the problem. So it's not the OC itself but the slowing down of the NVIDIA clocks.
I would like to know what would be the limit of my GC, bu right now I'm not in the mood to keep restoring my HD image. Besides, in the last times the crash was demaging other partitions as well, and for these I have no image. I really don't get why the the other partitions are demaged.

If i downgrade my itunes can i save data lost when updating to iphone OS 4?

Hi i was one of the masses who lost their data updating from 313 to OS 4 during june 2010. I had itunes version 9.1 where my content was backed up perfectly on that and i had to update it to 9.2 to upgrade my phone to OS 4.
I got a message saying I have to update to the latest version of itunes to support the latest iphone software for my phone. when I did that and updated, I got the infamous error code my phone crashed everything was erased, when I came to restore from my backup file which is still dated to june 20th 2010, the data was blank.
so if i downgrade my itunes to 9.1 and my iphone back to OS 3.1.3 would I be able to recover my content?

Recovery of Calendar data lost when Merging with iCloud

I Was wondering if anyone could help.
Basically, I have somehow managed to wipe ALL the entries from my partners iPhone 5c calendar when turning calendars on for iCloud. When prompted I pressed the merge calendars button and then everything disappeared. I turned iCloud calendars off again and the calendar which was called something like "on my iphone" has disappeared.
I downloaded some 3rd party software which scanned the phone and found the calendar entries, but to restore them would cost my £55 for the full version of the software. Is there a way to access this data and restore it without spending this sort of money?
Just to complicate matters, a backup of her phone hasn't been done since the start of june, roughly 7 weeks ago. I'm concerned that if I restore from that backup she'll lose contacts she's added since there along with saves and other updates she's made to apps on her phone, which will put me in even more trouble than I'm in already. I'm guessing the phone hasn't been synced with iTunes since this backup was made, although I have transferred recent purchases.
So, is there a way to recover the calendar data that has disappeared without losing anything else?

No I hadn't created a Calendar Archive before this mishap (I will now), and I thought it would be covered by the Time Machine Backup. I was activating my iCloud drive for the first time and I think that it was doing this that somehow lost the calendar data. Previously the Calendar data was on the Mac hard drive.
I have now managed to get the old calendar back, but I don't quite know how.
The links to calendar backup in your reply led me to tinker more with the Time Machine, and the data on the My Passport drive directly. I could not see the any calendar directly in Finder or Time Machine, but a Finder search on My Passport's latest backup showed various calendar stuff, including .ics files, in [users/myname/library] which were hidden.
I either restored one of these, or imported one via Calendar. I tried both, but neither seemed to work at the time. However, I reopened Calendar a some time later and found that the “lost” calendar had returned.
I couldn't find a way of revealing hidden files in the preferences, and I think that the library containing the Calendar files must be hidden because I could only see them via “search”.
Anyway, all's well that ends well, but I wish that I really knew how I fixed it. Thanks for your help.

Form field validation: All required data lost when clicking browser-back-button!

Hi folks,
I have a big problem using the validation text field components of Spry when the user must click the browser back button (or clicking a history.back()-Link) because he has entered a wrong CAPTCHA-code!
Right now, all the data - only in the required fields - not in the optional fields!!! - is lost and the user has to enter all data once again;-(
Does anybody know why only the data in the required fields is lost? Is there a nice workaround?

'frmlogin' should be the id of page, not the name. so on your <form> tag, add the id="frmlogin"

Its really bad practice to overwrite the alert. and inside the rememberFormInputs remove these lines:
alert('old value remembered: '+old_value);
alert('setCookie: '+name + ' = '+value);
and it should work

N97 mini WLAN/Data access issue

Most of the time I will have WLAN access. So I do not want to pay extra for the data pack from AT&T. Just wonder if there is a way to turn off data access on my phone so the phone will used for phone call only, and not for data servies. TIA!

you can do this in 2 ways:
-if you don't want it anymore forever, you can openmenu = settings = connectivity = destinations = and delete intenet and wap access points except the WLAN access point ((leave MMS because you'll need it when recieving MMS))
** you can make the WLAN access point the first when you enter detinations = internet = choose the WLAN access point = options = organise change priority
-or, you can go to menu = web = options = settings = general = access point = ask when needed

We've hit an issue in Analysis Services that we have a very hard time explaining. We've noticed that the issue occurs more often than not, when there are data changes to one of the hierarchies in the cube. Let's presume that all of the fact data in the cube
is presented by the physical location. Each location is a part of the District. If locations change districts, we're likely to see the following. The two queries below, should it would seem return the same number of units. They do not. Second form would always
produce a higher number. The dimensions we slice the data by may vary, but the results don't.
