N97 Music and Maps Problem ... All dissappearing

Hi
I have a major problem with the music on my n97...Before i left for overseas (I am gone for 3 months) i bought the n97 and added roughly 15 of music onto it to keep me occupied whilst walking and travelling. That equated to roughly 3500 songs. For some reason all but 440 arnt showing on the music player.
Yes i have refreshed the music files inside the music app and still nothing shows up.Just this 440 songs that were already there. Now since i am some 12,000km from home I am unable to simply reload my music back onto my phone. This music is all stored on the 32GB internal mem card and have still taken up space in there although when i explore the memory card i cant find this music anywhere. Is there anything i can do to get this sorted out? Has anyone else had this problem and can help me (without having to reload the music off my comp since i wont be able to get there until December)
Also, last night through the software update inside the phone i upgraded maps to version 3.1 After i did this i went into the ovi maps app and guess what, all my maps have dissappeared,I had all of Europe (which i desperately need),Singapore,Australia and NZ. Now they are all gone, same as the first part of this thread, can anyone help me with this prob too?
I really appreciate any help i can get especially on the music side since i sold my ipod to pay the N97...now i have lost most of my favourite music off it and really want it back
Thanks

All of your music and apps should be on your computer.
Did it not come from your computer in the first place?
If you bought it from the ipod, then it should transfer from the ipod to your computer when you sync or you can click File>Transfer Purchases
Did you sync to a different computer than normal?
Perhaps you could explain what happened?

Hi, this should be your answer as for sharing music. For photos though, I would assume you can do the same thing. Hope it helps!

  • Order and map problems

i have a user defined type which in essence works great. however if i try to run a sub query i get the message
ORA-22950: cannot ORDER objects without MAP or ORDER method
which i assume happens because i have not ordered my user defined type in any way, thus
what is the command to order the type definition

    Marcus,
I am curious of your application. Why only one user-defined type? Here is how to remedy your problem,
    1. The error measnt:
ORA-22950 cannot ORDER objects without MAP or ORDER method
Cause: An object type must have a MAP or ORDER method defined for all comparisons other than equality and inequality comparisons.
Action: Define a MAP or ORDER method for the object type.
    2. Check out the documentation at http://download-west.oracle.com/otndoc/oracle9i/901_doc/appdev.901/a88878/adobjbas.htm#459409 to learn more about ORDER and MAP methods.

  • N97 min Ovi maps problem

Can not connect to the Internet in ovi maps, constant error message.
Common Internet works fine without any problems,

    N6303 classic
I have a N6303 classic. Using PC Suite and Map Loader I managed to upload the UK maps to my 6303 just after last Christmas. For some crazy reason 2 days ago I downloaded and installed Nokia Ovi Suite and allowed it to update my phone – quite unnecessarily, but it looked like a good idea at the time! The backup failed. It lost various settings, but I was able to reset them. Also it allowed me to download via my PC a selection of maps and load them on to my phone. I then found that the memory card was too full and I wanted to remove some of them...I found I was unable to do this in Ovi Maps, and got the same error message that I lacked an internet connection. (I have broadband, which works fine.) However, PC Suite allowed me to delete all the maps, freeing up some space.  Now, neither Ovi Suite nor PC Suite will allow me to connect to the internet via my PC to download, you’ve guessed it, the maps of the UK. The only route seems to be to connect to the internet via my mobile, which I have no need to do and will simply waste money. The maps would be nice to have but aren’t essential and I have absolutely no use for the 6303 as a SatNav, but it is frustrating not to be able to take advantage of what seemed a useful little add-on, having an A-Z of the whole of the UK available for emergency use.

  • How do i share media (music and videos) between all of my devices?

i currently have (and attempt to use as much as possible) the following devices:  macbook pro 15", ipad 4, iphone 6 plus 64 GB, and appletv 2.
i would love it if these devices would talk to each other correctly.  first came the macbook, and i took an internal 2 tb drive cannibalized from my previous pc and transformed it into an external.  that drive is desinated as my media drive, it includes all of my video and music.  the macbook and the appletv talk to each other flawlessly.  every music and video file on that drive is accesible to me using apple tv.
next up is the ipad, which includes some of my videos (movies), but no tv shows.  music also does not show up, only options to buy from the store.  but i already have a music library that includes many songs downloaded from the store that dont show up, only some stupid U2 album that i never downloaded.
finally, we get to the iphone, which i just got.  i get no shared music or videos here at all.
by the way, all settings are set to share with each device in settings and itunes.  each device talks to one another.  i know this because there is some level of sharing on each device (ie ipad gets videos, iphone shares spreadsheets and other productivity files.  appletv shares everything.  i now want to sync these devices so that they can share the same data while on the same home network.  i should be able to do this, right?
also, i know that i can airdrop/transfer but thats not really what im looking to do atm.
    thanks

im more than a little disappointed here.  can anyone recommend another forum please?

  • IOS 7.0.2 - ITunes Manually manage music and videos option - all of my music has disappeared?

Hi all - I clicked the above option because I was having issues moving tracks to my I-Phone.  Except now, ALL of the songs I have ripped manually from my old CDs previously have disappeared - ***?  I'm talking well over 800 songs!!!!!!
I can't see them anymore in my IPhone or the Library, so assume they have gone.
How the f*ck is this possible?  I didn't choose any delete option.
Has anyone had this happen to them?  Guess I have to spend hours doing them all again.
I-Tunes is an absolute joke - I've had issues with it since year dot.  So p*ssed off right now.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Happened to multiple people and everyone blames different things. What they don't realize is that itunes, just like Windows Media player do not contain music. They just see it on the computer and allow to play. Music can only dissapear if was deleted from itunes or if itunes do not have access to library. There are multiple programs on Windows that can stop itunes from accessing library, example McAfee real time scanner did it 4 months ago and
I don't know if that was ever fixed. So find that music and reimport that is all.

  • Big Trouble! Manually manage music and videos problem

Alright, so I've just checked the Manually manage music and videos box. But now when I uncheck it, it says that all my existing content on the iphone will be replaced with the content on my iTunes library. The thing is, I just clean out my entire itunes library so if i uncheck it, all my music will be gone. Help please.

    Why?! Where is your backup?
New empty library or did you clean out the existing one? If the latter then steps 1 & 4 aren't really necessary.
    You should be able to:
    Backup the device.
Transfer your purchases into your authorized library.
Recover any other media using third party tools as suggested in this post from forum regular Zevoneer
Restore the device from the backup. This process should switch the association of the device to the new library, preserving the data and settings in your apps.
May also be prudent to attempt a backup to iCloud directly from the device before you start... Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > iCloud Backup > On. It won't save any media but it would preserve the general account settings and documents in case anything goes wrong while you are trying to extract your other data.
When you get it all fixed, make a backup!

  • Music and app problem! Please please help ***

Just recently I have connected my iPod touch 4gen with my computer and wondered where all my PAID music and apps have gone. I am really upset about this and would like any solution possible. I cannot just download all of my music again because it says that I have to pay for what was rightfully mine. Please help!
    Cheers

  • I have lost  years worth of music  and pictures not all from the same pc how can i get it back

I have lost years worth of music and pictures from my ipod how can i retrieve them ?

    - If photos were in your iPod Camera Roll, just restoe from backup. If they were synced to the iPOd you have to get them from where you got them the first place
    - For itunes pruchsed music see:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
    - For other music you will hae to get it from where you got it the first time.

  • The TFO accelerator is overloaded (connection limit) and MAPI problems

    Hi All!
    Problem description:
When MAPI acceleration (exchange/outlook) is Active in our WAAS environment, the remote site users randomly lose connection to the Exchange server (on hub site), if I disable the MAPI acceleration everything works ok.  so right now we are running with MAPI accelearation Disabled
I can see that we often get max_conn_reject The TFO accelerator is overloaded (connection limit), we haven't done any adjustments to the default configuration.
The environment is one Hubsite with two remote sites.
    [Hub Site] 34mbit
    HW=OE674
    SW=4.1.5
    inline
    Enterprise Lic
    [Remote Site1] 4 mbit
    HW=OE474
    SW=4.1.5
    inline
    Enterprise Lic
    [Remote Site2] 4mbit
    HW=OE474
    SW=4.1.5
    inline
    Enterprise Lic
So the question is how to solve this?!

I had a feeling that you might have alot of computer remotely.
One of the main factors in sizing a WAAS soluiton is to keep in mind the number of TCP connections that a single WAE can optimize.
We limit the device on optimized TCP connections. After you hit the limit the device will go into the overload state that you mentioned.
    274 - 200 connections
    474 - 400 connections.
Typically from a sizing a single workstation would be sized from 7-10 TCP connections.
The 2nd factor in sizing is bandwidth - WAAS doesn't limit bandwidth but this is recommended for the CPU throughput.
    274 - 2 Megs
    474 - 4 Megs
The 3rd factor is redundancy,. HA, etc.
    Thanks,
    Eric

  • Iphone music and video problem

I'm experiencing a problem with the video and sound playing at an incredibly slow speed. problem just started. everything else works fine. Just the video streams and the ipod music.

    Hey there Srkupo,
It sounds like your vocal audio is not working with your headphones connected to your iPhone. I would start with the troubleshooting from the following article to help troubleshoot them named:
Resolve issues with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch accessories
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts2634
    Update your software
Install the latest version of iOS. You can see which version is on your iPhone by going to the About screen.
If the device doesn't update successfully, the issue might be with your device and not the accessory. Learn how to check your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Disconnect and inspect the accessory, then restart your device
Disconnect the accessory and turn it off, if possible.
Inspect the connection between the accessory and device and make sure that no debris or other damage is present.
Restart your iOS device by turning it off, then back on. When the Home screen appears, reconnect the accessory.
    Try a different device
Make sure the issue is with the accessory, if possible. Always use an identical or similar, compatible device with the accessory you're troubleshooting.
If there's static coming from the left audio channel when you use headphones, try connecting the headphones to a similar device.
If the device isn't syncing when connected to the dock, connect it directly to the computer using the Apple 30-pin to USB Cable or try another USB port.
If you're using Lightning to 30-pin Adapter in a connection chain, try using the same adapter on a similar or identical device.
Restore iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Restore your iOS device. You should rarely need to use this step with an accessory issue. If the issue only affects a third-party accessory, contact the manufacturer before restoring the device.
If this does not resolve the issue could you elaborate on where you are listening to this content from to help isolate the issue?
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    All the very best,
    Sterling
