Im having a problem with installing nokia photos on pc. tried it from a cd and by download neither worked
i also have that microsoft framework needed as they say but still nothing Any suggestions ?

Error code 1722 is an indication that some Windows Installer custom action failed to run. Could you download http://nds1.nokia.com/files/support/nseries/phones/software/NokiaPhotosMultilingual.exe and run it with command line: NokiaPhotosMultilingual.exe /V"/L*v C:\Setup.log" ? Analysing the log file should give us a hint which custom action failed and why.

while installing the Ulead Photo Express 4.0 My custom edition, I am unable to install as I am getting a message to install in a seperate folder. I am installing Creative Webcam in dri've "C" and all other softwares are installed except Ulead Photo Express. Please inform me how to install this while passing the message and where to install (in a seperate folder).

For anyone who wants to use Windows Installer CleanUp Utility: Microsoft no longer supports this utility and you will no longer be able to download it from their site. I found a copy of it at:

Please note that after you install it, you will have to go find it in Start -> All Programs (Windows XP), launch it, select Adobe AIR, and click the Remove button.

Not sure if you downloaded the installer from HERE !!
Why not try the Nokia Suite which is a much later application launched by Nokia ..though that also may seem outdated now with no further developement ...

E75 - Unable to install Nokia Messenging

Hi there,
Pls note that this is a totally new phone with only the following customised:
- themes
- contact list synchronized with Ms Outlook with Data Cable
- configured a POP corporate email account programmed to connect every 5 mins (not via Nokia Messenging)
just tried to install Nokia Messenging software downloaded from email.nokia.com but encounter the following error while installing, here is the process:
- Sign up at Nokia Messenging Portal
- Register and signed in
- Key in phone number and retried a few times but never gotten any system sms to download software.
- do a manual download by connecting phone's web browser to email.nokia.com (as per instructed on the portal if the above fails)
- Nokia Messenging successfully downloaded using Phone
- Choose Language
- Choose Install
- ERROR
"Nokia Email
An incompatible version of this product is detected, and has to be uninstalled first"
and i cant continue from here.
Puzzles me as i've not installed any other programmes, its still fresh from the factory with the standard pack of pre-installeds', any advice? appreciate heaps

E70 Unable to Install Nokia Podcasting App

Unsure if this problem is the same as other threads but here goes:
The podcasting app from http://europe.nokia.com/support/product-support/podcasting doesn't want to install on my E70; it objects with "Expired certificate".
I've tried with the certificate verification both enabled & disabled in the Installer plus also allowing unsigned apps to install.
This is the only app that won't install on my device - I have a dozen others including Opera, Google Maps and all the std Nokia ones like SMS Accelerator & Zip Manager.
Is this really a certificate issue or does my E70 have it's knickers in a twist? If it's a question of getting an updated cert' then how do I do this?

I had the exact same problem and so just changed the date on my nokia e51 to 2008 and then ran the installer then from http://europe.nokia.com/support/product-support/podcasting/compatibility-and-download and it worked fine!

Unable to install any Nokia/Ovi Maps after hard re...

Hi, I made a hard reset to N8 running Symbian Anna 25.07 and I'm unable to install Nokia Maps. Software Updater doesn't show any Maps related updates, I cant find any installer in Nokia Store, installation of Ovi Maps 3.06 and Nokia Maps 3.08 found on the Internet fails as well.

Puzzled here as it was only when N8 released on PR1.0 a year ago that there was NOT a version of Ovi Maps pre-installed in device firmware but v3.04 subsequently added so would be removed by a "hard reset"; if I remember correctly v3.06 is included within Symbian Anna, which should be this version:http://nds1.nokia.com/files/support/global/phones/software/ovi_maps_installer_3.06_11wk23_b05_tb9.2_...
Have you tried re-installing existing firmware using standalone Nokia Software Updater? http://nds1.nokia.com/files/support/...erSetup_EN.exe

Nokia Photos 1.0

I have instaled Nokia Photos.
I have problems to synchronise Nokia Photos with N95.
Nseries further installed well and I can synchronize contacts and agenda etc.
I can also see my n95 in the nseries menu.
When I start Nokia Photos it's not possible to make use of synchronize (it's grayed)?
So my nokia photos stas empty and I have to download photo;s with explorer.
Is there a solution.

Nokia photos - how to stop it !!

Hi I just installed Nokia photos from Ovi Suite with the aim of transfering the few photos that have accumulated on my device. However the first time I opened and WHAM.........its imported over 9000 photos I have on my PC already taken by my digital camera (even though I didnt ask it to) This wasnt what I wanted but I cant see to delete them either without removing them from my hard drive as well. The only other option it gives is to 'stop monitoring this folder' which for the life of me I cannot work out how to do. Of course I have comtemplated unistalling the program but this appears to now run the risk that it takes my photo library with it ! Currently I am faced with burning my 9000 photos to DVD, unistalling Nokia photos, and then putting the photos back. Not what I had in mind. Any suggestions ?? Thanks

Nokia Life Blog Nokia Photos and Nseries PC Suite...

I'm a power user and own N95.
I try to install almost all available applications on PC related to my mobile.
So I installed PC Suite 7 and using the same successfully.
But now I installed Nokia Photos (latest name of Nokia Life Blog, as they say). The same installed correctly, but when I run it, it gives the error on the splash screen itself (something like "Nokia Photos has encountered a problem and needs to close").
I've tried uninstalling, then rebooting, and then reinstalling/repairing etc.
2. When I try to install NSeries PC Suite (after exiting-- not uninstalling-- normal PC Suite V7), I get some error in the end of installation: "NNPCSUI has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
Any clue?
Wish#1: MP3 Tag Editor capable of editing ratings.
Wish#2: Android type Video player, highly efficient player capable of playing all formats.
Wish#3: Without Google Maps (and products), no gadget is worth keeping.

Could you please confirm your PC details??? What all you have uninstalled already from your PC? You have informed that you have uninstalled Nokia NSeries PC Suite? So you can decide which applications you are going to use? If you want to send SMS and contact editor please do stick with Nokia PC Suite 7.0.7.0 or you can install Nokia NSeries PC suite on your PC or you can also install Nokia OVI Suite too. As far as i know, you can have both the PC suites on your PC without any issues. To resolve your issue, you can uninstall Nokia PC Suite, PC Connectivity solution, Nokia Connectivity cable driver, Run some reliable PC Suite cleaner, which will clean unwanted registried from your PC. Then you install any of the three PC Suite

Nokia OVI Suite 1.0 depending on your need.

i installed nokia photos and whenever i connect my phone to the computer while nokia photos is running, i get a bar on the bottom left that says updating nokia device view. this bar never fills up, and if i close it and try to synchronize, i get synchronization cancelled. someone please help. Nokia Photos Missing SMS

I have installed Nokia Photos as part of newest version of OVI in my PC.
Have synchronised, but deleted some sms entries in Nokia Photos.
When I hook up my mobile with PC, the same sms cannot be synchronised anymore.
Message was "sync completed", but the sms was not there.
Anyway I can "force" Nokia Photos to re-sync the deleted sms?

What i tried is
First i synched Nokia N95 8 gb data with Nokia photos and then backup-ed messages alone and then deleted those messages from the phone and did soft resetting on my phone

then i tried to sync the same device with Nokia photos, its not synching the same messages again. If you have any other similar device(which has got lifeblog/photos on the phone to sync), then you can restore your nokia n95 8gb messages to the other phone
[Please do make sure that the other phone was not synched with your nokia photos already ]
Once the messages are restored to the other phone, sync it with Nokia photos so that you can get the complete SMS on your pc. There may be some other easy work around also than this, if any, i will contact again

I read that I should download iPhoto 9.6.1 but have been unable to even find it. There was a suggestion about going to users and groups and creating a new user, then trying to go to applications, purchases, and clicking on "update" - that did not work. Help.

On OS X Yosemite 10.10.3, Photos for OS X has replaced iPhoto in terms of your main Photo application.
While iPhoto is still technically on your computer, it is not available as a separate download from the Mac App Store anymore, unless it is under your Purchased Tab in the Mac App Store
You can import your iPhoto Library to Photos and all events (iPhoto Events), albums, etc. etc. will be the same.

Nokia Photos Synchronization Cancelled with n97

Hi I tried the Synchronize function in Nokia Photos it starts to work then I get the error message "Synchronization Cancelled". Then I tried to synchronize using Ovi Office Suite but nothing seems to get transfered or changed.I am using the USB cable and Windows Vista anyone know how to reslove this

You were lucky then..I've tried the following and nothing works:
- Reinstall after full removal of Nokia Photos
- Hard reset phone with no backup restored
- Hard reset phone with an old backup restored
- Reinstall of latest firmware with no backup restored
- Reinstall of latest firmware with an old backup restored
I've also tried this on an XP PC and Vista PC, both work intermittently for a while then nothing, I've also tried multiple N97's and they are the same.
I've decided, primarily due to the lack of support from Nokia, that this is my last Nokia phone. In my opinion, shoddy phone software and badly written PC software has caused no end of customer dissatisfaction and I'm not putting up with it anymore.
Shame really, as the n97 had so much potential

I have recently updated my Nokia C7 with a new version of Market and now I can no longer update any programs. I can click on markets, which gives a black screen. Nothing happens, regardless of how long time I seem to wait. Pressing the middle buttom, can get me back to idle, checking the open applications (longpress middle key) reveals that "nokiastoreclient" is running.
I want to remove this faulty version or update again. How can I do this? (using the link above, just start the "nokiastoreclient", then nothing.
