How do I convert a VLC file to imovie. I have managed to download the mini dvd disc from the video camera onto a USB and have saved the file on my desktop but have no clue how to get it into iMovie so I can edit and send via email. Any ideas!!!

I get this if using chrome or safari .
I can go direct to YouTube it just works.

I have this same issue! The button for to launch video chat isn't even there and when I go into skype to video in there I am able to get about 30 second of video then it freezes and won't come back.

Try emptying your browser cache more often. If you are using Safari, from the menu bar top of your screen click Safari > Empty Cache
Try a video on FB. If can't stream Flash content, back to the menu bar click Safari > Reset Safari. Select the top 5 boxes, click Reset.
If that doesn't help, try deleing Flash cookies > Flush.app – Flash Cookie Removal Tool For OS X | MacHacks.TV

I have downloaded training videos/movies onto my Macbook Pro and require to upload the same videos/movies onto my iPad2. Is it possible and how do I do it?

If the videos/movies are in an iPad compatible format, add the videos/movies to your iTunes library and transfer the videos/movies to your iPad as with any other in your iTunes library.

N97 Mini keeps losing Facebook

My N97 mini keeps losing Facebook - I've downloaded the Facebook mobile app, which works fine but then suddenly it disappears and I cannot get onto Facebook at all. I've tried downloading it from OVI store but it won't let me (as I've already downloaded it).....any suggestions???

If you look in Application manager>Installed Apps and scroll down the list, hi-lite facebook>Options>Remove. Then go to Ovi store and download again !!
However !! I would personally try a couple of other apps, which are free
Tou can set Facebook as one of the 9 panels on Opera Mini (as well as getting MUCH faster web browsing) and the latest Facebook feature on Snaptu is really nice !! Try them, just go to these addresses with your phones browser and download and install to E Mass memory

I recently learned how to download videos off of facebook and save it onto my hardrive, and now I am trying to import them to be cut on IMovie, but only the audio will load. Any help? I am desperate, been trying to figure it out for hours. Thanks!

It's hard sometimes to guess what's happened. But there is a workaround that might get that audio clip working. Most often converting it to an 16bit AIFF file (uncompressed) will be enough to allow iMovie to play it back. Even in a large project like they one you are making. Do you know what file format it is in now?

If you want to sync your iPhone with a new computer, take a look at this Apple doc -> Using iPhone, iPad, or iPod with multiple computers
iTunes will let you sync some stuff from multiple computers, but it'll only let you sync music, videos or apps from one iTunes library.

If you subscribed to iTunes match the songs are kept in icloud. If you didn't but you did save the actual iTunes library folder which should include the music, video, etc. you should be able to just drag this file back to your machine in the same place and when you open iTunes it will give you a chance to identify the iTunes library folder.
You can test this to find out if you saved the media files or not and don't need to attach your nano to do it.
You are correct that once you connect the nano it will clear the existing files from it and sync it with the new iTunes library.
If you don't have the media files i'm not sure if/how to get them back on a windows ipod. I have everything backed up regularly because of the horror stories I have seen & heard.
