N97 Wifi+bluetooth Problems

i have a 1-2 year old (original) n97 recently the wifi has gotten soooo weak i have to about 500cm close to the router to connect (other phones work perfectly with router) and also the bluetooth wont work anymore when i try to enable bluetooth it says unable to perform action i only just reinstalled it and updated it. i dont have any warranty
nothing wrong with the router or internet just the phone.
is there anyone to reinstall the bluetooth and wifi
(factory reset lock code is missing i forgot it)

N97 Mini Bluetooth problems

Hi: I have used to have a N86 which worked flawlessly with my 2005 Mitsubishi Outlander Handsfree system. But when I changed my phone to the N97 mini, it pairs fine but doesn't work properly.
When I call manually from the phone, the handsfree takes over and I can carry on conversation with the handsfree.
When I initiate a call from my car's voice activated handsfree bluetooth, nothing happens with the phone. It freezes my handsfree (radio) for two minutes. Then after two minutes, my phone says disconnected from handsfree, then reconnects automatically. I still cannot initiate a call from the car. But i can still call out as aforementioned.
When I receive a call in the car, the handsfree engages my phone as it should. So no problem receiving calls.
Please advise if this is a bug with the N97 becuase I have no problems with the N86.

Well, - I'm having the same problem as described in the first post. The N97 mini connects flawlessly with some PCs, headsets, and handsfree car systems.
I disagree with the purpose of remote SIM mode as before mentioned. Remote SIM access is to support the rSAP (remote SIM access profile) installed in some premium handsfree systems (like in my Skoda Superb) and basically lets the handsfree system 'steal' your SIM, including PIN etc. over BT for use with its own built in phone.
But in my new Mazda MX-5 I am having trouble to place calls with the handsfree car system. It is not a rSAP capable system and I have tried with and without rSAP in the N97 mini enabled, to no avail.
The N97 mini pairs fine and I can receive incoming calls. Also, I can place calls from the device itself, but when I try to place a call over the car's handsfree system it basically freezes for a few minutes before the car system throws an error. During these minutes I can see on the car display that it looses connection to the phone, albeit the N97 mini still shows connected state. Once these 1 or 2 minutes have passed, the phone shows disconnected, and then reconnects immediately. By experimenting a bit, I found that when I change the BT visibility, from not visible to visible or vice versa, during those minutes, the phone catches up with the number and dials.
And yes, my N97 mini is on the latest FW (12.0.110).
It's a pity that this problem is obviously already so old, that I have little hope Nokia is going to fix it. My old 6600i slide, and my wifes 6131 are working like a charm, unfortunately I need the N97 mini to work for other reasons ...
Despite I don't know if the N8 would work, it's not an option since it's not supported by PC Suite anymore, thus doesn't synchronize with Lotus Notes, which is what I need at work.

Iphone ios 6.1.3 wifi bluetooth problem since update

Hi,
It seems that Apple has a problem with the Iphone 4s IOS update 6.1.3.
Since i updated my Wifi and Bluetooth on my phone have fallen over / failed.
wifi is unable to be switched from off to on (greyed out)
Bluetooth will not turnon either just icon circling around.
After looking at some of the meesages on he it would seem that the update has damage the phone???
I have backed up, removed all settings, restored the phone but no joy.
I will try putting the phone in the freezer, yes this has been suggested as a fix.
Failing that i will have to return the Phone the Vodafone /Apple for them to sort.
Not very happy at all.
Apple please sort this issue, and quick!!!

Same problem. I've tried the apple support site recommendations... reset network settings etc. No result. The problem is that there is no place to enter the needed pin code any more. The dialog box needed for that is completely absent. And on top of that if you actually want to communicate with a tech support person (for a problem caused by Apple programming to begin with) you will actually have to pay for said support first. I have to say that Apple is feeling more like Microsoft all the time. A company I avoid like the plague because of experiences like this that I have had to suffer over and over again. To bad. Apple was a really great company. A really great movement in the tech world at one time. No more though. Time to quit beating a dead horse with a stick and switch to Samsung I guess. That means getting rid of all my apple laptops and desktops too I guess. What a bummer!

Help T410 wifi & Bluetooth problem

experiencing the problem stated was ok a few days ago but now. Firstly the problem started when I put my laptop to sleep mode and turn it on about an hour later as usual the wifi will switch off by itself . Then, when i press FN + F5 i can see my wifi icon but my BT is missing . Secondly , i cant use my wifi sometimes adding on to the BT problem i face . In addition, When i press Fn +F5 the laptop will tell me 802.11b adapter is missing or not supported( i didnt remember exactly but sort of) then I restarted my laptop and it back to normal im able to use the wifi but not the BT . Is it the software that causes this problem and how i could resolve this problem ? FYI my model is 2539A12

no . Latest update , i tried upgrading the Bluetooth Enhanced Data Rate software but failed it says " no bluetooth device was detected. Please make sure that your Bluetooth device is plugged in properly in order to continue installation " .

Lenovo G470 Wifi and Bluetooth problem, with drivers maybe?? help..

Please.. could anyone give solutions for me to enable wifi and bluetooth for Lenovo G470, i5 2520, intelHD3000, 8gb ram, 500gb..running on windows 8 pro 64 bit, (maybe could give a link to working drivers), everything else is great but wifi and bluetooth, (not yet try one key recovery and veriface though)
ps, I've already download latests driver from lenovo support but still not working...and tried wifi bluetooth drivers for win7 64, but its not working also, previously run on windows 7 starter 32bit, wifi n bluetooth runs perfect.

But regarding the Bluetooth I’d like to ask you your machine came pre-loaded with windows 7?

Mini Bluetooth Problems - Dongle instead?

Given that the new Mini has old Mini Bluetooth problems (and no solution in sight from any Apple folks), anyone have luck or solutions for disabling the internal 'radio' and using an external BT Dongle (say, D-Link)? When I turn BT off, and plug the dongle in, nothing happens - even after a reboot.

WiFi & Bluetooth Not Working Since iOS 6.1.3

I updated my 16GB iPhone 4S to iOS 6.1.3 last week.
Now WiFi is turned off. The Off/On switch in Settings>Wi-Fi is grayed out and will not allow me to turn WiFi on.
Bluetooth functionality is gone. When I go to Settings>Bluetooth I just see the rolling circle that never stops.
I did immediately find Apple's ts1559 support document.
-Of course I'm not in Airplane Mode (Is it turned on?)
-Of course I tried restarting my device, multiple times. Both soft and hard reset.
-Yes, I have the most current version of the OS (6.1.3) I even tried reinstalling the firmware and iOS from Recovery mode, no joy.
-Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings did nothing.
-Backed up and restored the device... Absolutely no change. Even the blank phone without my restored info on it displays the symptoms.
I have NEVER jailbroken the device, only ever dropped it once (months ago) and have no water damage
Has anyone else had this exact same issue?
I don't want to hear about random wifi connection problems, stay on topic or create a new thread.
Apple: is this a known issue?

I have same problem, exactly same Iphone, same rolling circle etc. plus I also tried all upper solutions same as aquaholic said. Problem appears with iOS 6.1.3. about 30 min after instaling that lol upgrade. I went to appstore (in Poland) - they couldn`t help but one guy told me that iPhone turns off wifi and bluetooth when Iphone is too hot and turns it off becouse iOS 6 uses hot sensor (at least i think he told something like that) which iOS 5 doesn`t. Solution which comes to my mind was quite stupid - cool down Iphone in fridge. So I put it there for 15min (someone did that too on other forum so it help me with decision) and .. tadaaa ! it worked. Anyway worked as long as it was really cold, when it warmed problem returns. So there can be two possibilities as I`m sure i didn`t damaged my phone neither dropped:
1. Heat sensor (if really exist) isn`t working properly and newest iOS just revealed that error. Sensor might be damaged somehow during one year of use even if i don`t remember or:
2. Software upgrading has errors which in some models of this Iphone appears.
IPhone was bought about 13 months ago in Bialystok, Poland from T-Mobile operator, There is no problem with my IPhone 5 also no problem with Iphone 3Gs but it`s too "old" fo iOS 6
I hope Apple read our posts and at least try to help or suggest anything.
P.S. I`ll put that post on similar forum too.

IOS 8.1. Does it solve wifi/ Bluetooth/ cell signal?

I Thought I'd start a new thread specifically for this...couldn't see one, other than comments updating on 8.0.2, which is useful but not specific for those just searching for the first time. I'm too nervous to update as I'm still on 8.0 with a few wifi issues but they aren't as bad as for some. I do have cell signal issues but my Bluetooth in my Volvo is fine so I don't want to mess that up. What's the verdict please guys?

iOS 8.1 fixed my Bluetooth problems (car, headphones and BT speakers, neither of which worked after upgrading to iOS8). My wifi is fine (was fine with iOS 8 as well though). I see no problems whatsoever at this moment (iPhone 5).

I have Beats Wireless, and since upgrading to iOS 6, has presented problems with the bluetooth connection. I was wondering if anyone has this problem and if Apple will make a new update to fix this problem.

I have bluetooth problem with Creative Sound Blasteraxx SBX 20 when I upgraded iphone4, ipad2 and ipad3 to ios 6.
There seemed the bluetooth session is prone to some interruptions. The music stopped playing but the bluetooth session is inact. The sound blaster has blue led and iphone4 show " connected". I will to reset by turning off the bluetooth and reconnect again. Then only will the music from iphone4 is played at sound blasteraxx SBX20. I have to kept doing this again and again when the music stopped. This does not happen before the upgrade. I used Creative BT-D5 a bluetooth socket connector to iphone4 and paired it with Sound Blasteraxx SBX20. I played for hours without any session being lost. I have seen iphone wifi suddenly went from "connected" to " not connected" in iphone4 setting. Before upgrade the disconnection would never appear on its own. I suspect the ios bluetooth and wifi are prone to interruption and they cannot prrform automatically recovery. It needs manual reset to get bluetooth and wifi working.

Do you have modified software installed on your device?
If not, try to set it up as new device, explained here, without using the latest backup afterwards, in case it is containing corrupt data.
How to back up your data and set up as a new device
If this does not help, you'll have to get it serviced, there might be a hardware problem.

Bluetooth problem after update to lollipop

Hi,I've recently updated my 6503 to Lollipop.Everything went smoothly and is working fine, except 2 issues - one solved, second NOT. FIRST (solved) - phone after update waked up and logged to 2G network, with no data transmission (despite it was turned ON). What was strange - my operator's network appeared in 'available network list' as separate 3 NETWORKS ( 2g, 3g and LTE) Switching manually to LTE solved it - now phone is switching between technologies automatically, data transmission is working fine. SECOND AND NOT SOLVED: I'm using the hands-free system built in my car ( mitsubishi lancer, 2008 ) . After update, phone failed to establish connection with it, even hands-free system remained as 'associated device'. OK ... I erased hands-free system from phone, as well as phone from car's memory. Paired devices again - starting procedure from car's side. Nothing better. Erased and paired starting from phone side. Nothing better.What I've observed more: phone after try to establish connection , phone in eye blink looses it. On list of available services of hands-free system (in phone menu ofc) , only 'phone sound' appears, while -as I remember but i'm not sure- before update more (2 or 3) services were detected . PLEASE HEEELP !

Re: Bluetooth problem after update to lollipop As above post, I am also experiencing problems with bluetooth on my Z2:- Phone connection is OK if Bluetooth is turned on the phone for " car is ready". Then I can make and receive calls.
- Playing music on bluetooth does not work after Lollipop 5.0.2 update on my car head unit. Previously connected and able to stream music on 4.4.4 Kit Kat with no issues, looking on web this is not a new issue with Bluetooth connection issues to devices since Lollipop came out so what the **bleep** is going on? I purposely bought a Sony TV, Car Head Unit and Soundbar to ensure everything worked together now the head unit that I only had fiitted in February does not connect which cost me £249!!! No issues connecting to TV or Soundbar but on HU it tries to connect then disconnects and BT Audio Icon on HU display greys out although phone is connected and icon highlighted as connected. MSI MS-6855B Dual Wifi\Bluetooth Mini Pci

i have a evesham notebook that has a msi mainboard MS-1718X
it keeps dropping the connection all the time then will not find any networks
i have changed the mini pci wifi card and its working again no problem
but i have lost the bluetooth,the card i took out is the MSI MS-6855B
anyone know where i cant get a new wifi\bluetooth card

You'll need to contact Evesham. There is no MS-1718X that I know of. There is an MS-1718 but yours may be MSI making an OEM version for Evesham, and thus the "X." We can not offer support for OEM products, only for MSI retail products.
