N97 wont save contacts =(

my n97 wont save contacts
ive asked for help and it seems like it just wont save.
any tips on how i could possibly get them to save?
if not any ways to have contacts without saving them? cant on phone =( HELP pleaseeeeeeeee

I have them backed up on iCloud already But when I want to create a knew message it shows that the contact is in my phone saved but when I text the person it shows the number instead of the name and when I try to go save it, it already shows that it's saved in my contacts.
For example when you text someone it shows their name but when I text someone it doesn't show their it shows their # and when I try to save it the number is already in my phone saved and when I try to save the number again it doesn't let me save it, it doesn't show no error or anything it just won't let me save it for some reason

I have ipod 4 with ios 6.1.3., 8 gigs. I had just downloaded ibotbackup to try and clear some space out on it, however, when I was getting rid of old messages, it randomly restored. This wouldnt normally be and issue considering i back it up everyday, but when i logged back into it all of my pictures, contacts, notes, and bookmarks were gone. i was pretty ******, but i could deal with it. then things got really messed up. Everytime that i would take an email adress or a phone number to save to my contacts it wouldnt work. I would save it to my adress book and put info on it and everthing, but when i went to the contact book nothing was there. when i would message the person it would still show up as the email/number and it would still have the add to contacts option. i tried reseting it, turning it on and off, and restoring it but nothing worked. Since i got the thing (1.5 years ago) ive always had at least 2.7-3.2 gigs of other taking up space no matter how hard i cleaned it out ( thats not including the pre loading software. I dont know how to end this but i just really want my ipod to go back to normal, thanks.

Seems like your backup got messed up. That can happen with ibotbackup sometimes.
If all yor contacts and some other stuff is in in iClould, just restore to factory settings/new iPod and use the same iCloud account.. They should come back.

Get error message when exiting premier Pro wont save file

I am getting an error message when I exit adobe premier pro it wont save the file and the program locks up. I even uninstalled an reloaded the program CS5.5 vrs. still get the same error can anyone help?

I cannot save contacts with no name in iCloud in Outlook. The error messages are generic. This is an issue, since most companies do not have a dedicated name to go to. iCloud was always bad with contacts with no name. The issue has gotten worse. Also, this is a defect, since before you could do this, and now you can do this in iPhone and web iCloud. This is one of many issues introduced by iCloud 3.

I now find these USA type errors are only on the Address Book that comes up on my iMac when I go to iCloud.com possibly because the iMac does not support iCloud
My iPad and iPhone4 seem to be syncing OK re Contacts on iCloud EXCEPT I have Duplicates and on my iPad I can see one Group relates to "iPad" while the second or Duplicates relates to " Unified"
Is there any way via my iPad that I can eliminate all Contacts from this "Unified" Group and thereby eeliminate the Duplicates?

Elements Organizer does not save contacts entered in Contact Book

When I try to save contacts in either Elements Organizer 10 or 11 in the Contact Book, it saves nothing. After I click the save button and reopen the contact book, anything I entered is gone.
I've tried entering names as I'm preparing to send e-mail, I've tried doing it through Edit>Contact Book..., and even by adding a New Group to the Contact Book before entering new name, none of which work. Can someone help?

It’s working for me on Windows if I click:
Edit >> Contact Book
Then click the new contact button, enter details and click OK and OK again.
What OS do you have? What is the default email client?

Can't save contacts in PSE-9

I was told the reason I couldn't save contacts was PSE-9 was PSE-9 didn't support Windows Live Mail 2011. It did support Windows Live Mail 2009. So I uninstalled WLM 2011, and installed WLM 2009. Anyhow I'm now using WLM 2009 and still can't save contacts in PSE-9. WHY??

How are you trying to save? Works for me.

Illustrator CS4 wont save files, please help?

You can edit a file, go to save, close it down, then when you re-open it the changes made have not been saved?? No error message or warning pops up, and it all looks ok like it has saved properly, until you open it up again. This also happens when you use 'save as' command if you use the original file name. If however you type in a different file name - it saves ok. But obviously that is not great as you cant now trust or rely on the save mechanism of the programme, to make sure any changes to artwork have been stored!! I have never seen an issue like this, it is worrying, I hope somebody can help?

We are running CS4 on windows7 - yes PC!!!

We save in EPS, and its not just one file, its a variety of different files and it seems to be random as to which files it does it on, some work fine - some don't. And it can be anything from a minor text change to a colour change, it doesnt seem to matter on the change made, it reacts the same.
The files are saved over a network connection to a large external hard drive.
Its really puzzling and now starting to cause problems as we do a fair bit of work in it, and can't trust one of the most important features, and that any changes that have been done have been saved and stored!
Hope maybe you can help with any thoughts at all.

Help!!! Flash CS3 and CS4 wont save .gifs

Ok, so im trying to save my project as a .gif and it just wont save it right, it marks as if it has already been saved, but when i open the .gif it just displays the first frame.......any help? Am i doing something wrong???? the actual file that im saving is a small animation, with 1 sec of animation, 10 frames, and its appx. 100 x 100 pixels I thought it was the size, but it was not. Any help plz?????
Note, it does saves it right in .swf but not on .gif

Those links, did helped me, but that didnt correct the problems that i was getting.
Here is the thing, at least this is how it worked for me.
I was editing the original picture on fireworks, and saw that instead of layers, it was creating bitmap images, saved it as fireworks pdn and imported to flash, and when i finish it didnt save the gif.
I instead opened the original on photoshop, and it created layers instead bitmap, saved it as a photoshop image, opened it on flash, worked on it, and well, guess what??? it did saved it as a gif!!!!!
So wierd, but, why won't it save it from the fireworks one into a gif, and the photoshop one worked good?

Why Itunes wont save the art works that i add to pdf files?

I'm not able to add covers to my pdf files in the library, when i try to, the cover that i moved to the artwork box wont save.

Windows Media Player 12 ought to be able to play most of the same file types that iTunes can. See Getting iTunes & Windows Media Player to play nicely for tips on letting both players share a common set of media files.

By default, when you double-click on a contact in Outlook, the new
Contact Card displays for that contact. The Contact Card does not contain all the fields from the full contact editing window that opens when you create a new contact.

Contact Card also displays by default when you search for a contact. You can still open the full contact editing window when editing a contact or when searching for a contact. To switch to your
Contact folder, click the People link at the bottom of the
Outlook window or press Ctrl+3.

If you haven't been using your phone as recommended, then you've lost all your contacts. Contacts should be synched to your computer (Address Book, Outlook) or a cloud service (MobileMe, Google) for safekeeping. The iPhone was never intended to be a storage device.
If you haven't been using your phone as recommended and synching your contacts as above, frankly, you've no one to blame for your loss of data but yourself.
On that topic, are you making regular backups of your computer's data as well? Hard drives WILL fail.

Image wont save as it looks in photoshop.

I'm a pretty amateur user of photoshop, but I've been having this problem with an image I'm working on; it wont save as it looks in photoshop.
Basically, this is what I'm looking at when the psd file is open in Photoshop:
This is how I would like the image to look when I save it. However, when I save it as a JPEG (or any other format for that matter) it looks like this:
The saved image is a JPEG file with a resolution of 500x500, the image I'm working with in photoshop has an image size of 7000x7000. Also, the image seems to produce different results when saved at different resolutions. It's very confusing.
Here is my layers also:
I am also using a Halftone filter set to subtract on this image, giving the image the lines across the image (shown here as layer 1).
Anyone have any idea why this is happening and/or what I'm doing wrong?

There's no reason an image should be downsampled upon saving (from 7000 to 500 pixels), unless you specifically tell it to using the Image Size dialog. The only exception I can think of is if you use Save For Web, which has a number of default settings you should keep an eye on. But a 7000 pixel image has no business on the web anyway (that's w a y too big).
Resampling will obviously affect an image like this (with the line screen) in a number of ways. You should only work on this at the final intended pixel size.

When you zoom you're not chnaging the image at all, just looking at more closely, like using binoculars. Using binoculars doesn't actually bring the object closer. So with zooming. I think you might want to explore cropping.

Settings changed wont save after reboot

Any changes that i do in my Mac, wont save after reboot.
If i change the settings on my mouse (unchecking Scroll direction) next time i reboot, it will be checked again.
Any changes that i do to my Finder sidebar (like adding My Main Drive not visible, add downloads and pictures, change the foler view as columns) they are all gone after i reboot. Its getting freakin anoying. I Google for a solution but to find none.
When trying to opening Calender, it says that i dont have permission. I have gone to the application and checked and made sure that all acounts have r/w permissions.
On the Dock, i uninstalled an app and next reboot i will get a question mark, even tho i removed it before it comes back after the reboot.

May sound silly, but are you sure you're not logging in as the 'Guest' user? What privileges does the user account you're using have? Check in
 > System Preferences... Users & Groups
that the account you're using is Admin. If you're using a Standard account, are parental controls enabled?
If you are admin, try resetting your permissions and removing the sys pref property file. Before you do that, backup your system and user data. Once you're backed up, open Terminal and copy/paste the following into the Terminal window:
rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systempreferences.plist
hit 'return'. If the prompt returns without an error (as it should), paste this
sudo chown -R `id -un` ~
hit 'return'. Enter your password as requested, but type carefully as it will be invisible while you do.
This will take a while, but after the command finishes (i.e., when the prompt returns), restart the mac.
After the restart, set the mac up the way you want, then test whether the problem is fixed by restarting again to see if your changes were kept.
