NAC 4.7.2 upgrade to 4.7.5 - How to Lab.
I will (finally) be upgrading to NAC 4.7.5 from 4.7.2.
Before I do it in my production environment I want to lab it, just to practice and have some expectation of will happen.
My production environment is an OOB VG build and is highly available.
For lab purposes I have 4 - 3310 appliances. I can definitely build the HA-CAS pair and I believe I can build the HA-CAM pair.
The only concern that I have is that the 3310 appears to be capable of support NAC Lite from a licensing perspective. Will I still be able to build and test the upgrade process for the CAMs?
Did anyone ever find a solution to this issue? I'm having the same problem.... it takes minutes to open the ports on a switch in the CAM. It shouldn't take minutes to manage ports for each switch, it should take less than 10 seconds...

HubertPPC (PowerPC) is the processor architecture of all G3, G4 and G5 Power Mac computers.
PPC Macs cannot run any OS greater than Leopard, 10.5.8 because after that, Apple quit developing for PPC processors and limited support for the Intel processor line only.
As for upgrade to Leopard, Yes, if your machine meets the minimum requirements of 867 MHz or faster processor, 512 MB or greater of RAM and has a DVD reader it can have Leopard installed.
To install Leopard, one must first purchase a RETAIL (black with X on it) disc.
After install of 10.5, 10.5.1,10.5.4 or 10.5.6 retail version, free updates to 10.5.8 are available from Apple.

If your machine is slower than 867 MHz, Google "Unsupported Leopard Installation".
Tiger is lthe best choice for slower PPC Macs. -

Since your Mac probably came with 10.4, there is no longer a way to get 10.5 Leopard install media. IF it has the requirements, you may be able to upgrade to 10.6 Snow Leopard by buying the boxed install media at the Apple Store for $30.

I have an HP Printer/scanner, and since upgrading to Mountain Lion I can no longer scan on my HP. HP tells me that I can get an upgrade app from 'Apple Software Upgrade' . Does anyone know how to do this?
HP couldn't find its own apps with both hands and a flashlight.
As of Lion all scanning functions are incorporated natively in OS X. You can scan three ways:
Use Preview: File > Import from scanner
Use Image Capture
(Preview and Image Capture are both in your Applications folder.)
System Preferences > Print & Scan. Select your HP and use the Scan tab.
If you have HP's "Image Zone" software installed, you no longer need it and it no longer works anyway. -

There are many online tutorials on how to change out the HD on a mid 2007 iMac. One of the originals is from 2007 and is Upgrade your iMac 20" or iMac 24" aluminum (mid 2007) to 1TB Hard Drive and 4 GB RAM - DIY Guide. As far as migrating your system Apple helps out with that in Setup Assistant which automatically starts when you turn on a new Mac for the first time. After you have installed the new HD you will have to format the new HD to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and then you will have to install OS X. The first time you turn it on Setup Assistant will start. Follow the directions and you will be fine. In order to restore your information you will need to backup what is on the current internal HD first. I'd recommend using Time Machine (Assuming you are using Leopard or later) AND also creating a bootable clone using either SuperDuper or Carbon Copy Cloner.

The default about:home page in Firefox 4 doesn't give such features. You can set the home page to http://www.google.ca to get that possibility. The results page has a "Pages from Canada" link in the side menu at the left.

If you still have access to your old email address, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email account and verify it. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. You can now go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your correct iCloud ID and password.
If you don't have access to your old email address, you will have to contact Apple to have them reset the password so you can disable Find My iPhone and sign into your iCloud account. it actually works the same way but better you don't see it that way but with perhaps more experience you might catch on and say "oh now I see that' all I have to do.
Multiple artboards, which you did not have in CS 2 , changes the equation.
When you open a new document you can set up a gangup in the new document dialog then say for a business card then do one business card in the first one.
Then copy the art and text of that first one and in one command paste that art in all of the artboards with one command, you can then make another artboard that encompasses all the artboards and you now have a gang up say six up you can now print all a once as a gang up or print a range of the artboards or specific artboards.
As a matter of fact now that you can paste on all artboards with one command AI CS 5 actually has a step and repeat feature that works verticaly and horizontally at the same time. And an improved version is easily had.
Also since you probably know how many you need of this first artboard then you can simply make one rectangle for for the first artboard and give it a crop area effect and when you do your copy include the rectangle and then paste on all artboards and there you are
look at the video, see how cool. less complicated not more complicated. And as other users explore this function I bet they come up with even better ideas.

I am going to make one adjustment here instead of doing a command c to copy the first artboard it would be better to do a command x to cut the first one since the command paste on all artboard does exactly that. So if you do a command c and a command option shift v then you have two rectangles and art and crop marks pasted on top of each other. Probably won't do any harm but might be confusing in the layers panel. -

What version did you have?
Books do nor exist except in the iPhoto database so you can not "find" a book vista TM. You restore a previous library (be sure NOT to overwrite your current library) and switch to it
