NAC - Using ActiveX web agent with low level user

Hi:
I have NAC installed in-band and running. We have a group of test taker with user rights to the PC. The ActiveX web agent will not load and the Java agent does not start.
Any suggestion o dealing with some low secuirty issue and the browser.

We can check all the requirement rules, but notes,
this check is works well with native win agents, so I assume the CAM Requirements and Rules side is ok.
Pls. confirm, there is no matter how I'd like to check win patches (via web or with client) at Checks/Rules/Roles/Requirements config.

NAC 4.8 web agent with WSUS checking

Hi,
In some cases we would like to use the NAC 4.8 Web agent to check the WindowsUpdate related things.
We have a managed WSUS server, the ckeck working well with native win32 clients, but when we try connect with web agent,
the report show the following:
Information:
Failed to find Windows updates
Description:
Missing windows updates: 0
At the Windowsupdate.log file there is NOTHING about it, nor connecting, or any related.
Tried with the activex and Java client, the result is same. Also tried to catch some ip packets with Wireshark going to wsus server, but there is active connection.
Is this a bug, or the web agent is not WIndowsUpdate check compatible?

How do I use Edge Web Fonts with Muse - is it an update to load, a stand alone, how does it interface with Muse? I've updated to CC but have no info on this.

Is there a reason why you want to use Edge Web Fonts with Adobe Muse?
Assuming you wish to improve typography of your web pages, you should know that Muse is fully integrated with Typekit. This allows you to access and apply over 500 web fonts from within Muse. Here's how you do it:
Select a text component within Muse, and click the Text drop-down.
Select Add Web Fonts option, to pop-open the Add Web Fonts dialog.
Browse and apply fonts per your design needs.

Anyone Tried Using Sharepoint Web Services with BPEL?

I've tried using SharePoint Web Services with BPEL, I'm able set it to use the sharepoint web service as a partner link in orchestration, but when I try to compile the bpel file, I get a "error: null" on the compiler log for the *.bpel file.
Anyone have any success with using Sharepoint Web Services with BPEL?

I have found a solution.
For all they wont use a etoken to surf.
Go to extras, options then extendet and go to cryptographic module and unload the etoken. To unload the etoken you must selekt etoken not the name of the token.

How SAP diffrentiates between high level user and low level users?? I mean if the licences are for 25 high level user and 50 lowevel users, than how SAP will categorize the high level and low level user licenses?? Is there anyway where BASIS person has to specify??

Can I use textfield in an application with low level api?

I am developing a mobile application using the low level api.
I have to use it, because I do a lot of coloring.
But I want to use high level textfields as well. Is there any way
to include them in my application without using forms?
Does any one know, why J2ME designer's have limited the access
to the TextField's paint()-method? That's why I cannot inherit
from TextField and overwrite the paint() as I would like to do.

Unfortunately no. You cannot mix both high and low level on the same screen. You'll probably have to draw it out yourself and capture user input, unless you're willing to use textboxes.
Or.. i suppose you can try using customItems for all your "coloring" instead?

Using office web apps with SharePoint 2013

I would like to use office web apps in our SharePoint 2013 environment. I would like to know if OWA has to have a dedicated server or can I install it on the SharePoint 2013 app server.

With SharePoint 2013, Office Web Apps cannot be installed on the SharePoint Server, it must be installed on its own server, not shared with any other IIS-based service (it essentially "takes over" IIS).

Error using intermedia web agent on image upload

I use web agent, the PL/SQL Proc are OK, but sometimes, when I upload images, I've got this message.

Compiling CVI project with low-level input/output function under VC++

when compiling I get:

Who tell me what .lib I need?

When you convert your existing CVI project, all external libs add automatically, you can see it in Project->Settings->Link.
But they don't include low-level in/out function.
If you use Dependency Walker you can see these functions in cvi-lvrt.dll, but not in cvi-lvrt.lib

Using file receiver adapter with a different user

Hello.
I have a simple question (at least I think it is)
Can I use a file receiver adapter (where the transport protocol is NFS - not FTP)
so that a different user will access the directory (not the usual SAPServiceSID)?
I don't see any place for using username and password, and using the FTP protocol is not possible
because of security reasons.
Any help Appreciated.

I'm sorry for not being clear enough before.
I have a microsoft network share on a different server then the PI.
When I use the path:
server\share
I manage to successfully put a file via the file receiver adapter, with NFS as the transport protocol.
However in order to do this, the owner of the share had to give credentials to the user: SAPServiceSID of my PI system
which is an active directory user.
The owner wants me to use a local user instead.
Can this be done with a local user?

Using iSight and iChat with a PC user?

I was wondering...I know you need a Mac to use an actual iSight, but if I wanted to video chat with someone who has a PC, is that possible? Can windows users download some sort of iChat AV program?
Or can you only do one-way and two-way video chats with another Apple user?
If anyone has any answers or help, i'd greatly appreciate it! I just made the switch to apple (and i love it), but I still am sort of a greenhorn..

Using the BusinessDelegate pattern at lower levels

I was hoping to elicit some feedback on general J2EE architecture...
We have an application that we separate into three general tiers: web/client tier, service tier (with 'services' that implement business logic) and a data tier (with 'controllers' which basically implement CRUD (create, read, update, delete) for a single domain object or table). We have this thing called a 'manager' that straddles the service and data tier which also implements CRUD, but at a more coarse grained level. Managers allow us to work with big objects that are actually a composition of small objects.
Our services and managers are almost always implemented as session beans (stateless) so the client tier uses a "Business Delegate" as per Sun's J2EE patterns to hide the implementation details of those services and managers. So a given call in the system would look like:
Struts action class -> business delegate -> manager or service -> controller -> entity bean
Managers and services, when they need to work with persistent data then use controllers to get at that data. Most controllers are currently session beans (stateless), but we are starting to add controllers that implement the DAO pattern.
I'd like to hide the implementation details of those controllers from the managers and services that use them, though. I hate seeing code in managers/services where we use ServiceLocator to look up a home interface, create the EJB controller and then do method calls.
My question is whether it's possible and appropriate to use a BusinessDelegate between two session beans such as our 'managers' and 'controllers'. Doing so would make a given call in the system would look like:
Struts action class -> business delegate -> manager or service -> business delegate -> controller -> entity bean (if used). Would you loose the transaction between manager and controllers (managers always use Required for each method and controllers use Supports - as well, controllers only ever expose a local interface).

Yes. The only drawback is that client code needs to catch EJB specific and remote exceptions.
However it's not a big problem, because there is a decorator which catches all EJB exceptions and throws BusinessDelegateException with a user-friendly error message inside. This means that EJB interfaces need to declare BusinessDelegateException in throws clauses, but it doesnt cause any problems.
So client code is something like:

been thinking about creating a new one and then seeing
if I can change xdoclet's templates to have the EJB
interface extend this interface.
I have used this idea, too. I think it's even called a pattern. You can make EJB bean to implement this interface and then you have compile time checking of EJB compliance.
I remember I had problems with that when some CORBA client stub generator got confused.
