Nag window keeps popping up even though we paid our subscription over 3 weeks ago
After trialling creative cloud for a few weeks & being very happy with the system, once we actually paid and the trial period ended we have not been able to use any of the programs.
The nag window keeps popping up, which asks us to sign in. Once we sign it it asks for a serial number which we don't receive with creative cloud membership.
Is there a fix for these issues?
Kartikay,
I have tried the steps you recommended and I still have the same issue.
I an using a mac running OS X 10.8.3, I had no problems during the trial period. We paid for our creative cloud membership on 20/03/13.
I have tried deleting all adobe applications and reinstalling, as well as downloading and running the Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool as suggested on one of the Forum posts.

Windows Activation Technologies keeps popping up even though it shows activated
I have a PC with Windows 7 Enterprise that keeps popping up a Windows Activation Technologies message even though the Properties windows indicates it is activated. I have tried re-activating over the Internet and manually over the phone; both times indicating
successful activation. Yet, every day around 7pm, the WAT message will appear.
I have downloaded and run the MGADiag tool and have pasted the report below. I would appreciate if someone would review and provide a possible solution. Thank you.

Email logon script keeps popping up even though it is saved in settings
I am using Outlook as my email client. I have recently been getting an Internet E-mail popup asking me for my user id and password even though I did not change anything in my settings or computer. The popup happens intermittently although I suspect it is when the system is trying to retrieve email. Using Windows 7. What could be causing this and how do I fix it? Microsoft seems to offer to support and they said I should contact my internet provider. Stopped here first.
Solved!
Go to Solution.I had the same issue on two PCs, running Outlook 2010 & 2013. Finally got through to support. I needed to change incoming server to : pop.verizon.net I had it set to incoming.verizon.net. Hope it helps.

The message just keeps popping up and I can't do anything with the phone. It's most frustrating
If it says incorrect password the password is incorrect, even if you think it is correct. But are you sure it is asking for the password for the same account that you are entering the password for?

Whenever I open an application or go to safari, a box pops up asking for my keychain login. I have taken it to the apple store two different times, and each time the techs have assured me they fixed it. I have only had the computer for two weeks and it is totally irritating. I bought it refurbished, and I am wondering if this has anything to do with it. Please help!
I've done some experimenting, and this is what I've found out:
1) The problem persists when I reformatted the USB HDD devices to ExFAT, so the problem apparently wasn't due to NTFS for Mac OS X by Paragon.
2) The problem persists even when BackBlaze is paused, so I don't think that it's due to BackBlaze.
3) The internet cuts out as soon as data begins transferring either to or from a USB HDD device and won't reconnected until I eject and unplug the device.
4) The problem affects data transfers through either USB port. -

New windows keep popping up in Safari
I have turned off Extensions and Blocked Pop Ups but windows keep popping up in the back with ads for the past week?
What else can I do to stop these?ArtySD
Pesky pop-unders! Since I am on a vintage Pismo, there will be many here that may have better advice for your system and Safari version.
I use Firefox with and add-on that doesn't exist for Safari - but there are reports of others for Safari that I cannot recommend, only point you to.
AdBlockPlus may not be supported in your Safari version, so I won't even link to it.
GlimmerBlocker seems popular and appears safe as it doesn't really alter Safari at all, but uses a proxy server
http://glimmerblocker.org/
You will find lots of results by Google-ing " safari pop-under " - stay away from Softonic, etc. download sites though. Good practice to download from the developer's website only.
You'll find something I'm sure. If not, give Firefox a try.

Another window keeps popping, how to get rid of that
another window keeps popping in spontaneously. Have i got a virus/malware.
Mac cleaner keeps popping in.
How do I avoid that? There is no need to download anything to solve this problem. You may have installed a variant of the "VSearch" ad-injection malware.
Triple-click the line below on this page to select it, then copy the text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:
/Library/LaunchDaemons
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
A folder named "LaunchDaemons" may open. Look inside it for a file with a name of the form
com.something.daemon.plist
Here something is a variable word, which can be different in each case. It could be "cloud," "dot," "highway," "submarine," "trusteddownloads," or pretty much anything else.
There may also be a file named
com.something.helper.plist
in the same folder.
Leave the LaunchDaemons folder open, and open the following folder in the same way:
/Library/LaunchAgents
In this folder, there may be a file named
com.something.agent.plist
where the word something is exactly the same as before.
If you feel confident that you've identified these three files, back up all data, then drag the three files you found to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password. Close the windows and restart the computer.
Don't delete the "LaunchAgents" or "LaunchDaemons" folder or anything else inside either one.
The malware is now permanently inactivated, as long as you never reinstall it. You can stop here if you like, or you can remove two remaining components for the sake of completeness.
Open this folder:
/Library/Application Support
If it has a subfolder named just
something
(where something is the same word as before), drag that subfolder to the Trash and close the window.
Don't delete the "Application Support" folder or anything else inside it.
Finally, in this folder:
/System/Library/Frameworks
there may an item named exactly
v.framework
It's actually another folder, though it has a different icon. Drag it to the Trash and close the window.
Don't delete the "Frameworks" folder or anything else inside it.
If you didn't find the files or you're not sure about the identification, post what you found.
If in doubt, or if you have no backups, change nothing at all.
The trouble may have started when you downloaded and ran an application called "MPlayerX." That's the name of a legitimate free movie player, but the name is also used fraudulently to distribute VSearch. If there is an item with that name in the Applications folder, delete it, and if you wish, replace it with the genuine article from mplayerx.org.
This trojan is often found on illegal websites that traffic in pirated content such as movies. If you, or anyone else who uses the computer, visit such sites and follow prompts to install software, you can expect more of the same, and worse, to follow. Never install any software that you downloaded from a bittorrent, or that was downloaded by someone else from an unknown source.
In the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, select the General tab. The radio button marked Anywhere should not be selected. If it is, click the lock icon to unlock the settings, then select one of the other buttons. After that, don't ignore a warning that you are about to run or install an application from an unknown developer.
Then, still in System Preferences, open the App Store or Software Update pane and check the box marked
Install system data files and security updates (OS X 10.10 or later)
or
Download updates automatically (OS X 10.9 or earlier)
if it's not already checked. -

New message window keeps popping up
The new message window keeps popping up without prompting, usually twice in a row. I notice
this particularly when I first open the Mail program. The funny thing is that you can't actually type in any text in the new message window. Any ideas???It seemed to work itself out after several days.

Hi all.
I need some help. I have recently installed a new Hard Drive in my Macbook and have re-installed Snow Leopard. Since doing so there have been a few things that haven't been quite the same.
1) Certain buttons decided they didnt want to work anymore. These being the Space Bar, the Tab key, all four arrow keys, Caps lock, Volume up, Eject, and a few others.
After putting up with this for a couple of weeks and looking at numerous forums, they all of a sudden came back to life (Hence why I'm actually able to type this message) THEN, they packed up again. Then started again, then packed again, and so on. They seem to have a mind of their own.
Please... does anyone know whats going on? Is it a hardware prob? Is it something to do with the way Ive installed the Hard Drive? Have I forgotten to do something?
2) Ever since my buttons initially came back to life, the "Do you want to restart you computer?" window keeps popping up every couple of minutes.
It's the window that says "Restart, Sleep, Cancel, Shut Down"
It's driving me insane and I can't help but think that the two probs are related.
If anyone out there has any ideas at all, they would be most welcome.
Many thanks in advance
MadDogSnapsHave you tried reinstalling the original drive? Same symptoms with it?

The "save as" window keeps popping up randomingly while browsing, WHY?
Literally every few minutes the pop-up asking to "save as" and it just keeps popping up to save the web page. There is nothing wrong with my ctrl and S button on my key board and I cannot figure out why the save as window keeps popping up. I've done a virus scan and there is no negative results. What's the next logic troubleshooting step?
Does it affect some sites more than others?
If you use the Foxit PDF viewer and have PDFs configured to save to disk, maybe it's related to this problem: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/927458 Foxit Reader spews a lot "not a PDF" on some pages].
One standard diagnostic step is to try Firefox's Safe Mode to see whether the misbehavior is caused by a custom setting or add-on.
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, restart Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.org/kb/Safe+Mode Safe Mode] using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
In the Safe Mode dialog, do not check any boxes, just click "Continue in Safe Mode."
If the annoying messages go away, this points to an add-on or custom setting as the problem. Now the challenge is to track it down!
