NalAgent.exe generates error

Since a few weeks we experience an error on some workstations in our network concerning the NalAgent.exe application.
The following errors pops up (translated from Dutch):
NalAgent.exe - application error:
The instruction on 0x7e399dda points to memory on 0x02048398. The necessary data is not transferred to the memory because of an I/O-errorstatus of 0xc0000be.
Click OK the end the program
Click Cancel to debug the program
We have tried searching the application and system logs on the computers, but we could not find any useable log to diagnose this problem.
Some information regarding our workstations:
- Windows XP SP3
- Novell Application Launcher 7.0.1.4
- Novell Client 4.91 SP5 for Windows (version 4.91.5.20080922)
The other thing we have noticed is that on these computers there is a Citrix clint installed. This is used for some specific applications.
Perhaps anyone knows how to troubleshoot this problem ?

The Latest patch may help. (or Uninstall/Reinstall)
If multiple devices are impacted, the issue may be caused by a Corrupt
Application Object. Try slowing removing apps from the PC or remove all
and add some in slowly.

I am trying to generate an Excel speadsheet to report test results with LabVIEW 6 and Excel 2000 on a Windows 2000 machine. The LV 6 Excel library distributed by NI has an "excel open.vi" which causes LabVIEW to crash. The error message is "Labview.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. Error log is being created." Is this because of WIN2K or Excel 2K? What do I need to do to use Excel?

  • LKCITDL.EXE generating errors

We are using Lookout V5.0.  Our system stopped communicating with its Fieldpoint FP-1001 network interface modules (RS-485) and we started getting an error "LKCITDL.EXE has generated errors and will be closed by Windows".  Any ideas what has happened?

That is the database process.  Make a new database and attempt to rebuild the old.

I see this sort of error notice in Bridge and Photoshop, preceded by the message " Photoshop (or Bridge) has encountered a problem and must close. Tell MS.
    Yes or No."
It most frequently happens in PS when running Dfine 2.0. I have no clue what triggers the Bridge closure. It happens randomly.
CS3, so nobody gives a tinkers dam, I suppose.
I see this kind of message in software testing on a regular basis. Of course, when the test is under way, the software is generating a detailed log file which we package up as part of a bug report. Then at the bug scrubs, lively discussions ensue as to who has to fix what!
I can only image what would happen if the Dfine people and the PS people had to sit through one of those!

Labview 7.0 is the only thing installed right now. Also selected "Visual

    Happy update.
After ignoring this problem for awhile and installing some NI DAQ boards,
this problem is not happening anymore.
Would urge NI to investigate further though. Messed me up for a couple of

  • Java.exe has generated errors

    Hi all,
I have installed JRE 1.2 and Jdk 1.2.2 on my new machine (Pentium 4 ) with Windows 2000.

An error log is being created."
Can any one experienced it and how to fix it.

Maybe your java.exe and javaw.exe are infected by virus..
You can try running a virus scanner program..

  • Itunes.exe has generated errors...videos wont transfer

I have Windows 2000 w/service pack 4 and all updates.
itunes and ipod work great with the EXCEPTION of when I try to transfer downloaded VIDEOS from itunes to my LIBRARY. The downloads are on my hardDrive but when I try to transfer them over to the ipod a PROGRAM ERROR alerts that itunes.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows...and shuts down. Yes I have already TWICE removed and reinstalled itunes with all virus scans and spyware OFF, downloaded the stand alone quicktime.Still no luck.
What the heck is causing this???

If you know where this error log it generates/creates is, copy and paste it here in a post so we know whats happening.
Just to cover basics, run antivirus to check for viruses on your PC, run any malware program you use to check for ad/spyware, and after that turn off or disable any antivirus/security programs you have before installing iTunes. there is a slew of post here on both Norton AND Mcafee and how they have interfered with installs of iTunes
Someone may correct me on this but seems like your installer files are corrupt. run Microsofts "Windows Installer CleanUp Utility" and anything listed as iTunes or Quicktime remove with the cleaner. You can get the clean up Utility at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;290301

  • Ipodservice.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows

I just bought a brand new Ipod and got the new iTunes 7 but whenever I plug in the iPod I get the "Ipodservice.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows" message and iTunes wont recognize the iPod. It seems to be recognized by windows. As soon as I restart the .exe it happens again (if the iPod is plugged in)

    Hi,
I keep getting the same error message saying iPodService.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. I have downloaded the latest version of iTunes and reinstalled and restarted my computer but still no go. Anyone got any ideas? Would really appreciate it as I've just got a new iPod nano and finding it very frustrating not being able to hook it up. Thanks in advance.

  • NIMax.exe has generated errors

My system was working fine till this morning. I had to reconnect GPIB cables. I did that and ever since then, i'm unable to use MAX. As soon as i open MAX and click on "Devices and Interface", i get this error - "nimax.exe has generated errors and will be closed down by windows. You need to restart the program". I uninstalled LV 6.0 and MAX 3.1 and reinstalled LV 6.0 and MAX 3.2. The problem still is the same .. PLEASE HELP IMMEDIATELY !!!

Perhaps in the reinstallation of MAX the configuration data files have been corrupted. One way we can check this is to close MAX, and then delete the Data folder found in C:\Program Files\National Instruments\MAX. This will basically give you a clean slate in MAX to start from. WARNING: Deleting the Data folder will remove all MAX configurations. New configuration files will be created when MAX is reopened. If this is something that's possible for you, please try it, and let us know if it allows you to reopen MAX and move on. If not, we'll keep trying.
