Error while extending controller: class name is wrong or not included
Hi All,
I am getting this error while I port my extended controller class to the custom top and assign this controller to the page. I have made sure its the class file that is copied. The directory is correct, the permissions were given using chmod 775. There exists a soft link betwen the custom top and the oracle top as well. What else am I missing here?

This is probably because the class name is wrong or not included in project.:( Started out with that Gyan. If i do give the path with xx. appended to it, it lets me save and when i log back in and there are no changes to the page. I go to the personalise option to find the modification has been overwritten. I was told that this is so because Oracle doesnt recognise the xx.path and since there exists a soft link already the standard path with the new controller name should work.
i have really tried both of these options and am not sure what could be wrong. thanks for all your attempts to help. anything else i can try? -

Do you mean in your from field or the signature field?
where does it show up...? it wouldn't be on the iPhone as that doesn't show a from field. Check the account details in MM open it up go to settings and check you typed it in right simple as that if it's on someone elses hardware when they recieve an email from you then they need to fix your name in their contacts. -

Please check the name of the contact person in the Customer master data -->General data -->Contact person tab.
If it is correct then take help of ABAPer to find the cause through Output program.

Support forum screen names is wrong
My screen name is wrong. I specified my screen name to be "Jimmy-Jay" but Midler got tacked onto the end. That came from a question asking me to enter the letters I saw in an image to stop non-human interaction with the support forum.
I looked all over for "my account" or something like that to go into to fix.
How can I fix this?

Move file to the destinationFolder
Item exists in destinationFolder > Move file in the destination folder to the fake Trash > If it exists in fakeTrash too then give it a new name an ending of_a.psd then out it in the trash
Once thats done move start file to the destination folder.
Currently when the file exists in the destination folder and in the trash, I get the prompt then the error

At line 48 you:
set fileName to get name of startFile
which is fair enough - you then use this to see if the file already exists in the destinationFolder. However, if it does the logic about how to deal with that is flawed.
At line 56 you catch the error:

Hang on, wait a minute.... we already ascertained that at line 48 you defined fileName as a string object that indicates the name of the file. This is just a string. It's no longer associated with the original file... it's just a list of characters. Consequently you cannot set the 'name' of a string, hence your script is doomed to fail.
Instead, what I think you want to do is set the name of the startFile to the unique string. Files have filenames, and therefore you can set the name.
You have a similar problem on line 64 where you try to 'move file filename to fakeTrash'. fileName is just a string of characters. It isn't enough to identify a file - let's say the file name is 'some.psd'. You're asking AppleScript to move file some.psd to the trash. The question is which some.psd? The one on the desktop? in your home directory? maybe on the root of the volume? or maybe it should search your drive to find any/all files with that name? nope. None of the above. You can't just reference a file by name without identifying where that file is. So you probably want to 'move file fileName of destinationFolder...'
There may be other problems, but they're likely to be related - all issues with object classes (e.g. files vs. strings), or not being specific about which object you want.
As I said before, though, I might be way off - you don't say where the error is triggered to make it easy to narrow down the problem. Usually AppleScript will highlight the line that triggered an error. Knowing what that line is would help a lot. -
Files burnt to DVD have correct names but wrong content?
I burned 161 tiff files to a DVD using finder.
The files each have a different file, unique, name which match the file names on the hard drive
but
the content of all 161 files on the DVD are duplicates of the first image although the content of the files on the hard drive are all different.

Something seems to go wrong with the aliasing

can check before you burn, that while the filename
and thumbnail appear correct, if you look at the
preview (presumably in column view or with the

That answered that the problem is real. It has only happened to me once that I know of in September 2005. What version of 10.4 I was using at that time is unknown so I do not know if Apple has corrected it since in a later update of the OS.
When you scan film and send the files back to clients getting a phone call that all the files are the same is something I really didn't want to hear.
I now have to verify all of the images and with this client had to reburn 8 more DVD's. All add up to more cost to provide the same product.
I purchased Toast to do the burning, again added cost to do something that the OS should do as a basic function.

My name is wrong in send email -
After i arrayed i had to change all my surnames.
I did this in my systems as well but the mailappilcation is displaying a wrong name in my send email.
I tried to fix it in all ways i could think of. NOT WORKING !!!
I checked the address book my mails software preferences i cloud settings and so on.
it concerns a mail hosted on my server which is bind to mail by pop&smtp config.
deleted the config and started over from scratch no effect - It is ******* annoying!!!
My webmailer works fine - the name is correct and mails send from there look as they should.
Maybe someone had this problem already and knows how to fix this.

Misspelled Name During Initial Registration - Now my name is wrong!
My name shows up wrong EVERY time I am prompted for a password, even though I changed it in my account preferences. I can enter my name either way (wrong or right), and it still works.
My system works fine, but this just bugs the **** out of me. Is there a plist somewhere I can change?Check SysPrefs->Sharing.

I have a user who recently had their name changed in AD. It appears everything is good except on his calendar in Outlook. On the bottom right hand side of a calendar appointment, it displays "Last modified by USERNAME". This is where the user's name shows
up with the wrong spelling. I have looked all over AD and I ran across the "textEncodedORAddress" field using ADSI Edit. Is this the field where "Last modified by USERNAME" is pulled from? Is it ok to just update this field using ADSI edit? Thanks

As I know, there is no way to change the <username> which follow the "Last modified by" currently, because it is by design and write into hard code.
2 Workaround:
a, Disable the old mailbox after exporting all messages, then create a new mailbox and link to the
AD user. Finally, import all messages to the new mailbox.
b, Hide the "Last modified by", user can change permission level to stop the
calendar sharing.

And VZW tells us they do not have Caller ID activated for us..... Good luck getting that fixed. As I say VZW states they do not use Caller ID and blames the phone company of the call receiver.

In the Terminal window it shows the name of a Windows PC on our office network then the name of my Mac:

Why has it inserted the name of someone else on the network?
This is a new Mac that I set up from a Time Machine backup of my old computer, so I don't know if this is new, or if I did someting wrong on the old computer.

I cannot get into my account because you put the wrong username on my account. My username is chicoglen, and you have it as glen.cauthon! Therefore, my password does not work. This is why I left skype before....it seems that you cannot get things right!
I don't really understand which email of Skype you are referring to. But to change the Skype name you signed into Skype simply select "Sign out" from the "Skype" menu and you have the option to use your original name again.
(I've also removed your full Skype names from your post to protect your privacy)

Location of Podcast downloads correct but name is wrong
Recently when I download Podcasts into iTunes they show up with an exclamation point indicating that the location can not be found and offering me the opportunity to locate the file. I can go into the correct directory and the file is there but it is named "download". If I click on it and return, the file is renamed with the correct full name and everything continues as usual. This gets annoying if you have several downloads.
Has anyone experienced this or have a recommendation on fixing this problem.You have introduced a fatal error into your feed: at the moment the Store will be showing a cached version but iTunes cannot read it and so subscribing does not work.

The ampersand ('&') wrecks the feed because in XML it signifies the beginning of a code sequence which is never finished - this invalidates the rest of the feed including the closing tags, so that invalidates the opening tags and the entire feed becomes unreadable.
You need to search for every instance of this and replace it either with the word 'and' or with this code:
&
I would suggest using the 'and' as being more gramatically correct and less fuss unless you are particularly keen on the ampersand. -
Name goes wrong of sent file in Skype version 7.0....

After updating my skype version I am having problem during sending file. My current skype version is 7.0.0.1102 ans when I send a file to some one in my conttac they get file with whole path of where the file is save on my desktop rather then only name of file. eg. I am sending one png file named "home_screen.png" the person who get this file get "d/my/company/projects/home_screen.png"
this thing is happen after updating my skype and same prolem cuese to y collegue too.

Using NetBeans Matisse to build a form with an array of JButtons
