Name not found Exception
Dear Guru's
I've tried to customize the homepage framework, but when clicking at the benefit and payment quicklink I get an error that says that the page is not found or not available.
I'm using the original Content provided by SAP and no copy, the portal role is assigned so that should not be the issue. Furthermore the content is translated form English into Dutch.
Looking at the log and traces I get lots of error: javax.lang.NamenotFoundException

Name not found exception: look up data souce
the following code is from a standalone client. it is used to look up a data source configured by Admin Console.

But I can see jdbc/vnexDS by browsing the jndi tree.
If the above code is used to look up the remote home, it works.
I dont know why. I am new to SunONE, please tell me what's wrong with the above code.Amirtharaj -- There is no known issue with chaining together calls to beans. A few pieces of information might help with troubleshooting the problem.
- Are all the EJBs in one application?
- Are all the EJBs in one jar?
- Are any of the classes for the EJBs in a separate jar?
- Are you explicity setting jndi properties or are you using the defaults in the container? If you are, how are they set?
- Can you post a stack trace and source around where the lookup fails?

Not able to start the remote server - class not found exception
All,
I am quite new to RMI programming, although i am an experienced java programmer. I am facing a problem in starting the remote server program which i wrote for RMI. I am getting class not found exception for "stub" class eventhough the class is in the classpath.

Following are my classes:

import java.rmi.Remote;

MyRemoteInterface obj = new MyServerImplementation();
// Bind this object instance to the name "HelloServer".
Naming.rebind("rmi://localhost:1985/GetNames", obj);
System.out.println("GetNames bound in registry");

System.out.println("GetNames error: " + e.getMessage());
e.printStackTrace();

System.out.println("Names are "+remObj.getNames());
catch(Exception e) {
System.out.println("Problem encountered accessing remote object "+e);
}That's a remote exception coming from the registry. You need to learn to recognize remote exceptions and their source, it's a mjaor source of confusion in RMI.
In this case it's the registry that can't find the stub class.
The stub class needs to be in the CLASSPATH of (i) the Registry and (ii) the client as well. Ditto the remote interface; ditto any application classes it refers to, and so on until closure.
The easiest way to achieve (i) is to start it in the server's JVM, with LocateRegistry.createRegistry(). -
B2B Java Callout Class not found exception
Hello B2B Gurus,
I am facing class not found exception, when trying to call a java code from B2B and below the configuration done from B2B side.
Could you please help me to identify that the configuration done suffice the requirement
1.Created a call out from
Adminstration-- Callout-- Create Callout -- XXJavaCallout(Name of the Java Callout)
Administration-- Callout Details -- Implementation Class -- XXClassFileName
Administration-- Callout Details -- Library Name -- XXJarFileName.jar
Administration-- Configuration -- Callout Directory -- xx/yy/zz (UNIX server that is accesible from B2B)
2.Partners--XX--Delivery Channel -- Select the channel where we need the call out -- Channel Attributes -- Transport Callout -- XXJavaCallout
3.Agreement--Callout -- XXJavaCallout
Place the jar file in xx/yy/zz UNIX location.
Please let me know if any steps I have missed for using the callout functionality.
Thanks,
Sunil
Edited by: Dathu Sunil on Mar 29, 2012 8:17 AMSunil,
Administration-- Callout Details -- Implementation Class -- XXClassFileNameMake sure that you are giving complete name of the class (without extension .class.). For an example if your class name is Sample and it is in package a.b.c then give class name as a.b.c.Sample
Administration-- Configuration -- Callout Directory -- xx/yy/zz (UNIX server that is accesible from B2B)This must be valid directory existing on machine where B2B is installed.
2.Partners--XX--Delivery Channel -- Select the channel where we need the call out -- Channel Attributes -- Transport Callout -- XXJavaCallout
3.Agreement--Callout -- XXJavaCalloutTransport Callout and Agreement Callouts are used for different purpose. Are you sure that you really need both in your case?

Java applet class not found exception for check scan
I am getting a class not found exception when trying to scan a check into a banking website. The application uses Java and the exception error has the name "com.epaysol.checkscanAppletV2" in the message. I have the latest Firefox and the latest Java installed. I tried going to an earlier version of Firefox and of Java where this app worked in the past and it does not work now in the earlier versions either. So I am now back to the latest version of everything.
Try to clear the Java cache:

Class Not Found Exception After Connecting From a JDeveloper
Hi,
I am following the tutorial on SOA and started to experience problems in deployments (all but the console, including em) after the connection to the remote weblogic (10.3.5) from JDeveloper. I would know if the connection modifies the WLS environment. Unfortunately I did not note the message before wiping the setup, but found many entries on Google referring to some ADF library. I followed the suggestion to apply the adf runtime to the WLS install but this not helped.
By the way, I would just understand if the remote connection from a JDeveloper adds some configuration which is then eventually not found in the target WLS.
Thanks
Fabio D'Alfonso
http://www.fabiodalfonso.comCan you check the log files of soa_server1, which are located in the <domain-home>/servers/<server-name>/logs.
There are probably some occurences of class not found exceptions.
When you are using the node manager to start your environment you have to make sure that StartScriptEnabled is set
to true in the nodemanager.properties file (located in the directory: <wl-home>/common/nodemanager
In the section "Starting the SOA environment" here - http://middlewaremagic.com/weblogic/?p=6040

Class not Found Exception while running an EJB
I have created and published a EJB in Oracle 8i (in a particular
schema) by running the deployejb tool supplied. The ejb was
published successfully. On running the client program I get an
error saying that the mybeans's HomeHelper class cannot be
found. This error occurs when there is a lookup to the home
interface of the bean. The exception thrown says Reasons are
unknown. On checking the objects of type 'JAVA CLASS' I found
that the homeHelper class object had been created automatically

nullI have created and published a EJB in Oracle 8i (in a particular
schema) by running the deployejb tool supplied. The ejb was
published successfully. On running the client program I get an
error saying that the mybeans's HomeHelper class cannot be
found. This error occurs when there is a lookup to the home
interface of the bean. The exception thrown says Reasons are
unknown. On checking the objects of type 'JAVA CLASS' I found
that the homeHelper class object had been created automatically
be the deploy process. What is the reason for the class not
found exception and what can I do to correct it. ?

WIS: 10901 Data source name not found and no default driver specified(ODBC)
Hi, gurus.
We've created a universe based on Excel spredsheet or MS Access which is using ODBC connection. Then, I try to create query (which is using these universe) in QAAWS or in InfoView, and when I add a filter object to the query, the error occurs:
"GetDatasourceObject LOV exception (error WIS: 10901)".
If I don't choose any filter options and want to create query, I'm getting the error: ' [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified (error WIS: 10901)'.
We tried to do this in different operations systems - Windows 7 (32 bit) and XP (32 bit).
Anymore, we can use this universes at web intelligence rich client with or without filters.
Need to solve this problem. Please help us.Dear all,
I got the same problem, I have installed BOE 4.0 at Win XP 64 bits, and also installed Sybase IQ 15.2 (32bit) ODBC, and has create the odbc entry "shkdemo" at the System Tab. However, I still got the same error when using the the "Interactive Analysis" thru "BI Launch pad".
For BOE 4.0, I found that I could only use the BOE Client tools (Universal Design Tool) to create the connection, this client tool I installed it at another 32 bit XP laptop, and I also installed the Sybase IQ 15.2 (32bit) ODBC with the same odbc entry "shkdemo", and using the "Interactive Analysis Desktop, I could be able to create report with data from IQ 15.2.
Kindly advise, why I still got the error of "10901 Data source name not found and no default driver specified(ODBC)" when I use the "Interactive Analysis" thru "BI Launch pad".
Cheers,
Hilda -
Data source name not found and no default driver specified in Database Error Code -2147467259
When I say it works, I mean that it gets no errors and writes the data to the SQL Table. The Connection name and table name are correct as written.
Hey people,
I'm having issues when trying to use the DB Tools open connection.vi in order to write data to a SQL data table. In my VI I have two different states that handle different data based on a specific test specified to run, but both are inserted into the same SQL table. I get the unspecified error "NI_Database_API.lvlibB Tools Open Connec (String).vi->Main.vi<ERR>ADO Error: 0x80004005
Exception occured in Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified in NI_Database_API.lvlibB Tools Open Connec (String).vi->Main.vi"
when running one test but not the other...since the error is unspecified I'm having a hard time finding any information that might help me. -
Why i get servlet exception/login servlet not found exception with .ear ?
I am able to deploy my war and after that generating the ear from that. both works fine in local system.
But when i run (Jboss as service[Java Service Wrapper]) it takes war without any problem.But with ear file i am getting servlet not found exception.I can't understand where this problem is coming from.
Even if i take my JSPWIki ear which is running well in production server, this also gives same error.
One more thing, the files, what i am running well in local system i.e. war and ear working fine. (can't test in production server so testing in same kind of testing server) there also getting login servlet not found exception. Even in same location other files which are deployed are working fine.out of 4 at least one is working fine.
I don't undersatnd where this whole problem is .
Please guiide me where sholud i concentrate to solve this problem.
thnaks
VijendraI took the source code including the dll files already added to the project from here:
spazzarama/Direct3DHook
The solution include two projects the one name Capture is class library type and the dll that make the exception is in this project.
I tried now to use the program Dependency Walker on this dll file and it found error/s:
This is the log:
Error: At least one required implicit or forwarded dependency was not found.
Error: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in an implicitly dependent module.
Error: Modules with different CPU types were found.
Warning: At least one delay-load dependency module was not found.
Screenshot:
It happen only when using/detecting Direct3D 11 . So far only in Direct3D 11, When i use it with a game that run Direct3D 9 it's working fine.
The question is how can i solve this dll problem ? Any site/place to download this dll from ? -
Hi,
I actually posted this question 2 weeks ago but under the wrong topic. So, first of all wanted to apologise for double-posting... but since no one replied, I thought I'd try again under the right topic.
I've been trying to solve this all day today (that was Feb 26th). I used to be able to send emails but for some reason it does not work anymore. At first I thought it was a problem with php (I use entropy pack php 5.2.6) but after searching the topic, I think it is a problem with my network. BTW OS is 10.5.5 and Postfix version 2.4.3
First of all, after computer restart, I don't think postfix starts automatically
Running 'sudo postfix start' gives me:
postfix/postfix-script: starting the Postfix mail system
Looking at '/var/log/mail.log' I find:
Feb 27 12:51:04 AMs-MBP postfix/qmgr331: AA70A7A7C77: from=<[email protected]>, size=842, nrcpt=1 (queue active)
Feb 27 12:52:19 AMs-MBP postfix/smtp456: AA70A7A7C77: to=<[email protected]>, relay=none, delay=3437, delays=3362/0.02/75/0, dsn=4.4.3, status=deferred (Host or domain name not found. Name service error for name=email.com type=MX: Host not found, try again)
Running 'sudo postfix check' does not give me any errors
Checking my '/etc/resolv.conf' it has nameserver 192.168.1.1
Running 'ifconfig | grep netmask | grep -v 127.0.0.1 | awk {'print $2'}L' gives:
192.168.1.5
Checking http://switch.richard5.net/2006/08/19/fatal-open-lock-file-pidmasterpid/ and running 'launchctl list' gives me a long list but no item matches org.postfix.master
Running 'ps aux|grep postfix' gives
AM 546 0.3 0.0 599820 468 s000 S+ 1:41pm 0:00.00 grep postfix
_postfix 331 0.0 0.0 599816 824 ?? S 11:56am 0:00.04 qmgr -l -t fifo -u

_postfix 519 0.0 0.0 599768 752 ?? S 1:36pm 0:00.01 pickup -l -t fifo -u
Running 'postconf inet_interfaces' at first gave me
inet_interfaces = localhost
which I changed to All in '/etc/postfix/main.cf'
I looked at http://www.postfix-book.com/debugging.html
Running 'telnet localhost 25' gives me
Trying ::1...
telnet: connect to address ::1: Connection refused
Trying fe80::1...
telnet: connect to address fe80::1: Connection refused

Connection closed by foreign host.
But running 'telnet 10.1.2.233 25' gives me
Trying 10.1.2.233...
telnet: connect to address 10.1.2.233: Operation timed out
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host
Running 'ping 134.169.9.107' takes a long time. After a while I stop it and get:
PING 134.169.9.107 (134.169.9.107): 56 data bytes
^C
o
+ 134.169.9.107 ping statistics ---
28 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100% packet loss
I have not idea what the problem is and/or how to fix it. I know the messages get to the postfix daemon but for some reason they do not continue on their way.
Please, does anyone have an idea of how to fix this?
TIA,
ElleDynamic IP addresses with DynDNS Updater (or equivalent) makes it pretty darned reliable, particularly if you buy DynDNS' Mailhop Forward service, which prevents the likes of roadrunner.com and aol.com from blocking mail coming from your server just because it lives in dynamicIP-land. Way cheaper than paying your ISP extra for a static IPA, too, and totally acceptable for low-volume, residential-based servers for personal not-for-profit use.
Regarding reliable delivery to a dynIPA server, you are only at risk of non-receipt for perhaps a few minutes immediately following when your ISP rotates your WAN IPA, until DynDNS Updater (or equivalent) updates the DynDNS (or equivalent) servers with your new WAN IPA. But that's really not a problem because I think all, well, okay, most, smtp servers will queue for a redelivery attempt if the initial delivery attempt just happens to occur at that time.
I wouldn't suggest this practice for high-volume enterprise-class servers or for people trying to run a bootleg mail server business for profit (besides, the ISP would shut it down as an abuse of terms of service, anyways), but for low-volume, residential-based servers for personal use and enjoyment, which I suspect is the case for the O.P., I can't say that I find anything unreliable about my dynamic IP-based mail server. -
ERROR [IM002] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified in windows server 2008 r2.I made a application in asp.net c#.I am using ODBC connection.When I deployed my application in windows server2008 r2.There

Guide me What I do?Did you add a System DSN or a User DSN? If you added a User DSN from your own login, the asp.net application will not be able to use it unless its application Pool in IIS is configured to run under the same credentials that you used for creating
the DSN. It's better if you add a System DSN.
Also, be careful to ensure that you are using a 64 bit DSN, unless you configure the application to run in 32 bits. If the 64 bit application attempts to use the 32 bit driver you get the same error message "Data source name not found and no default
driver specified". See this KB article:

Any ideas?Nothing really seemed to work when trying to solve this problem, just suddenly it stopped appearing. It might have been our installation of SPS 15, since it was around that time that the error went away.

Hey everyone, So I am trying to get a report onto the server, and in BIDS I kept getting a login screen repeating over and over when I tried to deploy my report, so I tried to upload the file at http://<servername>/Reports This worked, but then trying
to run this report from http://<servername>/Reports did not work either because "An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted) Cannot create a connection to data source 'FTYDataSource'. (rsErrorOpeningConnection) For more information
about this error navigate to the report server on the local server machine, or enable remote errors" Anyways I tried to add a New Data Source (which I would use in the report) at http://<servername>/Reports, type ODBC, with the connection string Dsn=blah_blahblah.
I try to test the connection here and get the error ERROR [IM002] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified This is really getting old fast, everything I try, a new error comes up. Granted I am new at this,
but this still should not be this troublesome. Does anyone have any ideas on what could FINALLY allow me to just put a report out onto the server?!? THANK YOU in advance for ANY help.Hi,
Please try setting the credentials of the datasource.
1. Double click and open the datasource in your project.
2. Click on the credentials tab, and click on option button 'Use this username and password'
3. Enter the username and password to connect to the datasource
4. Deploy or upload the datasource to the report server and try accessing the reports.
Hope this helps.

Time Machine backup to Drobo seems slow. What is normal write speed?
I just got a Drobo with Firewire 800. I'm using it exclusively for Time Machine backups. The write speed to the Drobo appears to be about 3 to 4 mb/s. Is that normal? Anyone getting the same or similar speed? I used to backup to a LaCie drive (which,
