Name on OCA certificate

Hi,
i am sunil, recenlty i have taken OCA tests and about to get certificate, i just want to know how the name appears on my certificate like whether the firstname or lastname or middlename or entirely, i have registered with
www.pearsonvue.com/orcle and there i have given my name as follows
first name : sunil
middle name : sreedatt
last name/initial : b
if any one knows this please furnish me the details

What is the best source to learn and advice to get Oracle 12c (OCA) certificate???

Actually, I'm a new in a Oracle career but I know all concepts of Databases and SQL.
I'm planning to take a Oracle 12c (1Z0-061) (SQL Fundamentals) exam to achieve 12c OCA certificate but I'm bit confused in what source is best to learn it by self and what are tips to pass those all exam to lead me OCA certificate. The Oracle Press exam guide for 1Z0-061 is written, though of course there is all sorts of production stuff still to go. The 1Z0-062 guide (a lot longer!) is done except for the last two chapters. So both should be out in the near future. I know this because my buddy Roopesh is writing 1Z0-061, and I'm writing 1Z0-062. Bob Bryla's 1Z0-063 guide is bit later, the exam isn't in beta yet.
As Philippe says, the OCA is not simple this time. Of course I can't reveal the exam content, but I think I can say that Oracle Uni is raising the standard with 12c .

Common Name on SSL certificate

I was wondering if anyone can tell me whether the Common Name on the SSL certificate (which I plan to request from Verisign) MUST be the same as the name of the Sun One 6.0 SP6 web server instance.
For example, if my server name in the Servers tab is "svr9999.mycompany.com" but I have a DNS alias giving the machine the name "www.mycompany.com", can I use the "www.mycompany.com" name for the certificate, or does is have to be the actual "svr9999.mycompany.com" name in the Server tab?
If that is possible, is there any "special" stuff I need to do to accomplish it?

Yes, I found today that it worked fine to make the Common Name on the certificate be the DNS name I want the world to use (even though it differed from the internal name of the server instance).

OCA Certificates query

I have completed 1Z0-051 and 1Z0-144 from Pearson VUE.
Do i need to register in oracle website somewhere to get my certificate?
Will i get certificate for individual exams(2) + OCA (1) so total 3 certificates OR only OCA certificate?

- Go back to certview.oracle.com ... sign in ... and select the certification status tab.
- The exam history subtab show what exams have been recorded aginst you.
- The certification history shows the certfications you have been awarded
- And the success kit status shows when your certification success kit (aka printed certificate) was requested from the printers ( it can be up to 8 weeks after that you receive it) along with what to do it things dont seem right.
If you dont see what you are expecting to see then it is time to investigate. ( An example would be a person would found only a 1z0-144 pass ... but their 1z0-051 pass was missing .. this would often be because their 1z0-051 was taken under a different Oracle testing Id .. in which case the solution would be a merge).

OCA certificate not received

i have passed my Oracle 10g Administration 1 exam on 25-aug-2009 and since that time i have been waiting for OCA certificate what should i do in this regard and second thing is that i m MCP and whenever i register myself for Microsft exam my MCP id is there but what about oracle ID.will i be getting my oracle id?

After 8 weeks OCA Certificate Not Received Yet !!! :(

Today, its been 8 weeks (2 months) after creating(27th Feb, 2012) my OCA certificate in certiview.oracle.com but still i didn't received it.
I have raised 2 SR's
1. 23425245
2. 23560661
I received reply for 1st SR that i will receive the certificate in 4-6 weeks, but till i didn't received it, don't know what to do, as well no communication details for Oracle for checking with them.
If anyone has details for orntacting oracle, please let me know..
Please help me getting my certificate.

Unfortunately, there are regions where we sometimes have to ship a certificate multiple times in order for it to be delivered. In some areas, kits are delivered within 2 weeks, in others, it could take 6 weeks, in others, it will take several shipments for the kit to arrive. It depends on the local mail systems.
I see that your first SR was answered and I guess the kit was reshipped and you still have not received it. Your 2nd SR was only submitted today - that is why you have not yet received a response. Sometimes the team is able to respond in the same day and sometimes they are not. They will respond within 3 business days. I expect that you will likely receive a response tomorrow.

I received my OCA certificate but not the card

Hey few days before i had given my OCA exam.Today i received my OCA certificate but not my OCA card.Afriend of mine told me that he had received an sql card and certificate from oracle after giving sql exam

There is a Oracle Certification Program where this question would probably be more appropriate.
My recollection is that there is no card for most if not all the OCA certifications. I think they do send a wallet card for the OCP certifications and potentially for the OCE certifications. There are a large number of different tracks, though, so it's quite possible that different tracks do things differently (my certifications are in the DBA and PL/SQL Developer tracks which, I'm guessing, is what you're talking about).

How to name the OCP certificate?

I passed all the four tests for OCP Developer. I am wondering what I should put on my resume since I haven't got the certificate yet. Can I say like "OCP on Internet Application Developer track"? Can somebody tell me the official way to name it? Thanks.

2008R2 Connection Broker internal vs external name and UCC Certificates

I have a RD Farm, all in 2008R2. Consisting of Gateway, Connection Broker, multiple Session Hosts. They belong to an AD Domain, xyz.local. The machines have AD names, CB.xyx.local, GW.xyz.local, SH1.xyz.local, SH2.xyz.local.
The internal DNS system has a Zone for the External Domain, MyDomain.com. There are host records for the farm, rdpfarm.mydomain.com pointing to the Internal IP of the farm.
The farm is accessible on the Internet at rdpfarm.mydomain.com via Public DNS.
We have a VeriSign Public UCC Certificate, that has the public MyDomain.com SAN's for the hostnames for all the machines, CB.MyDomain.com, GW.MyDomain.com, SH1.MyDomain.com, SH2.MyDomain.com, and the farm name is the Common Name rdpfarm.MyDomain.com.
(Note, as of soon, internal Domain names are no longer allowed on UCC Certificates)
I have tried everything I can find to get the Gateway and/or the Connection Broker to answer using the rdpfarm.MyDomain.com name and match the Certificate, without success.
As I recall in Exchange Server we face a similar problem, but there is a method in Exchange to cover this. If there is one for an RD farm, I cannot find it.
Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Did you receive any particular error during\event id this issue?
For certificate, here is requirement for RDS server which need to have for successful configuration.
Basic requirements for Remote Desktop certificates:
1. The certificate is installed into computer’s “Personal” certificate store.
2. The certificate has a corresponding private key.
3. The "Enhanced Key Usage" extension has a value of either "Server Authentication" or "Remote Desktop Authentication" (1.3.6.1.4.1.311.54.1.2). Certificates with no "Enhanced Key Usage" extension can be used as well.
In Windows 2008/2008 R2, you connect to the farm name, which as per DNS round robin, gets first directed to the redirector, next to the connection broker and finally to the server that will host your session.

Host name on SSL certificate did not match the alias name in the URL addres

To the XI gurus,
One of our vendors had problem to send us xml invoices because the url address had our server alias name and the SSL certificate we asked them to install had the server name.
To resolve this issue, can we install two certificates (one has the alias name and one has the server name) at our XI server or we can only have one SSL certificate installed at any time?

OCA certificate Clarification

I have completed the following exams for OCA certification.
1. 1z0-047
2.1z0-147
which i believe marks the completion of OCA certification. Also i have submitted the course submission form on oracle site. Could anyone please tell me, if i would be receiving only one certfication (OCA) clubbing both the exams together? The current exam history shows these 2 exams separately. Is there anything that i should do from my end to intimate oracle to send just one certificate as OCA??
