Name reporting on credit report

Hi guys I have a predicament and I would like some advice on the issue. As many Mexicans I have a really long name, and like such some problems are expected when reporting it. Everything started last year when I tried to apply for a Capital One secured credit card. The banker completely chopped my name even tho she copied it from my DL and SSC, I found that out after getting a rejection letter with my name misspelled, so that was a bust. In order to help me establish, my wife added me as an AU on one of her cards, (Capital One mind you) and basically spelled my name for the representative on the phone. A month later I tried to apply for the secured card again and was declined, this time I received the rejection letter with my full name. I then decided to just wait and concentrate on school. In January of 2015 I tried to request a free annual credit report and the site could not provide it. I ended up calling TU and requesting one over the phone. The report stated that 2 different names have been given under the same SSN. Like many Mexicans my name consist of Name -> Middle name -> Father's last name and Mother's last name. TU had me under my full name from the second application and the chopped one where the banker basically just used the first letter of my father's last name as my middle initial. I then got student loans that report under my full legal name because of my SSN. I know this cause in May I requested EQ's report and that's how it's listed. Later that month I applied with Discover and the representative told me to basically just pick a name and go with it, as that's what's commonly done in the U.S. She basically said to go by Name -> Middle initial and father's last name or else other credit cards will have a hard time finding my history. My wife ended up having to co-sign for me. What should I do? The student loans are reported under my full Mexican long name, yet Discover is only using the American version with just middle initial and father's last name which is the same my AU card has. Any thought or suggestions? Thanks.

Great info, thanks man. My two last names aren't hyphened and yes, I've encountered places that don't have two separate spaces for such last names. I'm intrigued when you mention split credit files. I recently ordered my EQ report and in it I have about 5 different names. The original full lenght as it appears on my SSC and DL, reported by my student loan servicer, my shortened one(the one I go by) with middle initial and paternal last name as reported by Discover and Capital One (AU) and 3 others being a mix of both. Maternal>Middle>Paternal and First>First initial>Paternal. I do get from time to time Capital One offers under such wrong, chopped or mispelled names. I've gotten offers from AmEx and Chase and they are addressed to the names reported by Discover and Capital One. My wife has suggested I send letters to the credit bureaus asking them to erase all other names and just keep the full one and the "American" version. But both my DL and SSC have the whole name, will they still honor that request?Thankfully, split credit files aren't as much of a 'thing' as they were around 10 years ago (when I had all my issues).  Back then, even having a lot of accounts or an 'excessive' number of soft inquiries could cause a split file back then.  I also used to have issues with my accounts reporting to my father's credit file, and vice-versa, due to our having the same last name, and my father's failure to use 'Sr.'.  Thankfully, they seem to rely now more on the social security number, so it's been a while since I've had to deal with this.  My own credit reports also have multiple names, including my full name, which I believe was reported many years ago when I had also had student loans.  Here's what I currently have: First LastFirst Last JrFirst M. LastFirst M. Last JrFirst Middle Last Jr (also a couple of variations where my middle name is misspelled) So far, this has never caused me any issues.  As far as if the credit bureaus will remove the extra ones, I'm honestly not sure, but it never hurts to ask, especially on the ones that aren't even correct (mangled spellings).  A lot of people have 'aliases' on their bureau reports as well where the name is a variation, while not really being a truncated version (for example, William, goes by Bill; Margaret, goes by Peggy).  Even last names change; women regularly change their last names when they marry (and some marry more than once over the years) so this is not a big deal, either.  I have Hispanic relatives, so I'm familiar with the naming convention you're speaking of.  The 'general consensus' is that usually you can use whatever you want when it comes to credit, but you really, really need to be consistent.  I had a friend that on her driver's license had 'First Middle Maiden Married' - all of her names, so that no matter what it would be a variation of any paperwork she had.  Her paycheck from work had 'First Married', while she still had old stock certificates that had 'First Maiden', and it even got more complicated since the name she was know to the world by was not her first name, but her middle.  Just like you, having all of her names on her ID and official paperwork make things easier.  If a clerk or bank teller ever asked for ID she was fine, because her ID had all the names covered. What you don't want is to have some credit accounts listed as 'First Last1', and other accounts listed as 'First Middle Last2', for example, since it's possible for these to be seen as different people, thus the split credit file issue.  Ideally, as long as the SS# is always use this shouldn't be a problem anyway, but better safe than sorry.  As an added 'perk', having the name match up should also help with 'insta-approvals'. If it were me, I would refrain from using my full middle name, and simply use the middle initial (or in my case, none at all) since there's usually no place to put a whole middle name on a credit application.  As for your last name, consistency is the key.  While I have read of folks having issues when a hyphen isn't used, there are plenty of times where it's no problem at all.  If it were me, I would continue to use both last names as you currently are - after all, that's you! - and on the rare occasion where it's problematic simply drop down to one or the other, just always to the same one.  Hope this helps! Thanks a lot for your advise.

Just pick your Applications (EBS) version and scroll til you find the Projects Resource Management link. Another option would be to visit the Oracle ETRM web site (http://etrm.oracle.com/pls/etrm/etrm_search.search).

  • How to create case-insensitive account name report?

We have an account report that allows users to enter part of an account name and return matching results. The prompt is case sensitive but I would like it to be case insensitive. This report uses a report prompt and not a dashboard prompt (if it makes a difference), and I can switch to dashboard prompt if necessary.
Since the left pane search for Account Name is case-insensitive and you can select case-insensitive when creating account list views, I am hoping there is a way to apply this same functionality to a report.
I understand I can convert Account Name to upper or lower and tell people to search that way, but that will be a last resort.
Any suggestions on how to make the prompt value and report results for Account Name case-insensitive?
    Thanks.

Similarly to all this, and even what the OP is looking to accomplish, is the habit of developers attempting to coerce the database object names into the format of their language - usually .net or some such. So they create tables named something like EmpDepProjectStatus which may make their application code all look consistent, but becomes EMPDEPPROJECTSTATUS when created in the database. Why can they not adapt to the database and name the table EMP_DEP_PROJECT_STATUS so that we do not go blind trying to manage their db objects? Is it their teachers that tell them EveryThingMustBeWrittenLikeThisBecauseTheyCannotStandSeperatingTheWordsThatNameObjectsWithSpaces_WHICH_ARE_UNDERSCORES_IN_MOST_ALL_LEGACY_LANGUAGES?
I do not think that Oracle will ever become case sensitive. Just like COBOL, IMS, IDMS, JCL, BASIC, PL/I, etc. There is just too much code out there that ignores case that it could not be done.
Unless, of course, Oracle creates a init.ora option to set case sensitive. But I doubt (hope most sincerely) that they will never do that.

create the query as described. In the data-,
model you will get one query-object (rounded box) and beneath it there will be one group object (rectangle). Now just drag&drop the username-column out of the group to a location between the query-object and the first group-object. You will get a second group containing the username.
Now in the layout you create two repeating frames, one for the user, on for the rest.

  • Where does ARD get it's DNS information from? Wrong DNS name reported.

It's very strange...ARD is reporting a DNS name for one of my servers that has long been removed from my network. I can't figure out where it's pulling this info from? The servers real DNS name is not being reported at all. I know the IP this new server has is a recycled IP from an earlier server that may have had that DNS name associated with it but that was literally three years ago. How do I change this? Whenever I try to rename it manually it just flips right back.

    Hi  Rab1967 ,
    The first question :
The IP addresses are from host records .The name of the record is the domain name(In the zone ,the name is displayed as “ same as parent folder “ .) .
    The second question :
When we type characters in nslookup ,it will query for host records by default .To see the settings of nslookup ,type
    set all .
For detailed process of the query ,we can use debug mode of nslookup .
    To enter debug mode ,type
nslookup and then type set d2 .

  • The type or namespace name 'Reporting' does not exist in the namespace 'Microsoft' (are you missing an assembly reference?)

I have a Windows app that was built some 7 years ago on a WinXP machine using VS2005.  It uses Crystal Reports for the reporting.  We recently got new machines with Win7 x64 and I installed VS 2013 Pro. I moved the app to my machine and upgraded
it to that VS version.  It previously had a .NET Framework target of version 2.0.  I changed the target to version 4.5.
I want to use the MS Reporting instead of Crystal Reports.  However, I cannot get the ReportViewer control to show up in the Toolbox.
I downloaded and installed the ReportViewer Runtime 2012.  I installed the ReportViewer using the NuGen GUI and console.  I tried adding the control to the Toolbox using Tools > Choose Toolbox Items... but it never shows up after I browse to
the Microsoft.ReportViewer.WinForms.dll file and select it.  I manually typed 'Microsoft.Reporting.WinForms.ReportViewer' and the intellisense came up fine.  But when I build the project I get the error shown in this post's title.
I'm at a complete loss.  I've searched all over and tried everything I can find on the subject with no luck.
    Can anybody help?
    Thanks.

Thank you for taking the time.
The Report Viewer will not appear on the Toolbox, even with references to that assembly.  However the Crystal Reports viewer IS in the Toolbox.
I think it may be because Crystal Reports is installed and integrated?  I don't know.  I just can't get it to work.
    Thanks again.
    Hello,
    From
ReportViewer Controls (Visual Studio), we could get that ReportViewer Controls are included in VS2013, that means we don't need to install that control manually.
To confirm whether this issue is related to your Visual Studio or Crystal Reports, I would recommend you consider testing it with the following ways.
    1. Create a simple windows form application, and open a form designer window, and check whether reportviewer is inside the tool box.
If it is available, then we could focus on your project to narrow down this issue.
If it is still missing, we could test it with #2.
    2. Uninstall Crystal Reports and disable all add-ins of VS2013, and if possible, you could also uninstall and reinstall VS2013 to make sure the environment is clean enough. Next repeat the steps of #1.
It will be much helpful if you could share the detailed results with us.

  • NAM Report Analyze -- Wan Optimization -- Application Performance Analysis Report

    Hello,
Transaction Time (Client Exprerience) report does not show optimized traffic. For this graph what we expect is to show side by side the transaction time of optimized and non optimized traffic side by side to give information about the baseline and optimized application performance.
May it be that the optimization should be disabled for some time for the Wan Sites, and after some time manually reenabled in order to compare these values?  This should be difficult for large deployments since manually disabling and reenabling for performance analysis time taking task.
    Best Regards,

    Mohammed,
It is common, in many of the Cisco Express 8.5 environments we have looked at, for the Total Incoming Calls given on a Traffic Analysis report to be a higher number than an Application Report.
The Traffic Analysis Report counts every unique sessionID (unique call) that is inbound (contact type of 1).  The Application Reports do a similar thing but qualify (filter) only the records that have an application assigned.
There are simply times where inbound calls have been directed to an "agent" without having an applicaiton assigned.
The best thing the reporting user can do is to run a query on his or her database such as:
         select * from ContactCallDetail where contactType=1and startDateTime > '2012-11-16 10:00:00' and startDateTime < '2012-11-16 11:00:00';
Usually when an application is not assigned to the record in the ContactCallDetail table it is because the destination type is equal to 1, which is an 'Agent' instead of a 'route point'.
So if you modify your select statement to filter by destinationType, you can quickly find the records that don't have the application assigned.
    Example:  select * from ContactCallDetail where contactType = 1 and destinationType = 1 and startDateTime > '2012-11-16 10:00:00 and startDateTime < 2012-11-16 11:00:00';
    When you look at these records, you will see the agent that took the call from the destinationID field.  The number in that field should match up with the field called 'resourceID' in a table called 'resouce';
Example:  select * from resource where resouce=6011; where 6011 was the number you found in the destinationID field.
If there is still confusion about the source of the call - then talk to that agent and find out what is was.
Good Luck and let me know if you need further help.

  • Approved Purchase orders with Approvrer Name Report

    Hi,
Is there nay standar report in SAP whihc can give me list of approved purchase orders and people who approved those POs
    Thanks
    Manoj

    Hi Manoj,
There is no standard report availalbe for the functionality
    you require in standard.
The change history in the header in the PO and requisition shows
the release dates and the users
These changes are saved in table CDHDR.Field CDHDR-OBJECTID can be
used to search for the purchasing document number.
As a suggestion you could customise own report which would read the
change hisory (CDHDR and CDPOS) and finds out the date when the last
release code of the release strategy has been released.
Instead of an update of the field EKKO-FRGDT you could use
a new database table and insert the PO number, the date of the release
of the last release code (read in the change history) there.
This would be a 'stable' entry (not subject to changes) and could be
used for your report about the days between PO release.
    Kind regards,
    Lorraine

  • Table & field name related to credit

    Hi experts,
Are the tables/field names below are correct?
If yes, what reasons would be for the field of sales value shows zero in SE16 while the field shows correct amount in FD33?
If not, pls provide the correct table & field name for credit exposure & sales value. Thx.
Table KNKK - SKFOR = credit exposure
Table KNKK - SAUFT = Sales value.

    Hi
You are looking the right table
However field KNKK - SAUFT = Sales value, displays the Total of all order values which have not been transferred to FI, but which are taken into consideration when checking the credit limit.
    You can check following fields
Table KNKK - KLIMK = Credit LIMIT
Table KNKK - SKFOR = Credit Exposure (i.e Total Receivables)
Check for the values appearing against  Receivables field (skfor) on the customer credit management : status page (FD33).
