Names on photos

How do I add my name or logo to photos in Elements 12?

To add your name, use the type tool. You can dress it up with a bevel and/or a drop shadow. The type will be on its own layer.
As for the logo, make a selection of the logo without background, and add it to a layer in the layers palette.
You can also make a signature brush, if you wish. Once you have made the brush, it can be applied with a click of the mouse. The brush can be saved for use subsequently.
If you have multiple photos to which you wish to add a watermark (batch process), in Editor (Expert tab) go to File menu>process multiple files. In the dropdown under Labels, select watermark.

Click on the file name/title under the thumbnail and it will highlight so you can type in whatever title you'd like.

  • Is it possible to print a list of names of photos from project

I would like to just print a list of just the names of photos in a certain project. Is this possible with aperture?

I can think of two ways to do it. It is not something Aperture was designed to do.
    1. Select the project in the library and set the browser view to list view. You'll be able to see the names of the images on the left. You can use the Grab application to do a screen grab of the pertinent parts of the list. However, if the list is long and needs to be scrolled to see it all, you won't be able to Grab the whole thing at one time.
    or
    2. Select all the images in the project and File->Print Images. In the print dialog select contact sheet. In the Metadata & Page Options section set the Metadata View to "Name Only". You'll be able to print all the names but they will be included along with thumbnail images. You can make the thumbnails as small as possible by increasing the number of rows an columns in the Layout section.

  • File names for photos on iPad?

How do find the file name for photos in iPhoto on the iPad?

To the best of my knowledge, you can't do it on the iPad. But after syncing, you can just click on a given photo in iPhoto and the name will appear in the "title" field in the Information box on the left-hand side of the iPhoto window.
(Make sure you have that little icon of an "i" in a circle checked in the bottom left corner next to the search bar, or you won't see the Information pane.)

  • HT4236 hello , when i want to add a folder of photo and I select then sync that folder in itune, there will be 2 folder in my iphon :1-in name of photo library 2-in name of photo library . how i can delete photo library folder from my iphone ?

hello , i want to add a folder of photo to my iphon from my comp. i select that folder in itune and sync with my iphone . but i have 2 folder in my iphone .
1-in name of the folder 2-in name of photo library.how i can delete photo library from my iphone but i still have my photo folder?

You can't delete the Photo Library. The iPhone stores photos the same way iPhoto does on a Mac. All photos are synced to your Photo Library. The various albums/folders merely contain pointers to the actual photos which are in your Photo Library, they are not duplicates.

  • Viewing File names of photos

    Hi,
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to view the file names of photos your are viewing in the photo library on an Apple Ipod Touch?? Even if it is not available in the standard photo library, is it possible to do with a 3rd party app? I want to be able to show people pictures on an Ipod touch (or similar) and, if they want a copy of a certain photo I have taken, note down the file number so that I can print it off when i get home.
Surely this must be able to be done, it's not like the filename is hidden away, it's the **** filename!! hehe
    Cheers
    Sparky

i have an app called 'ePhotoChest' which allows you to name the photos after you've imported them. slightly tedious but would work for you. someone else may know of a different app that does what you want.

  • Does iPad show names of photos?

I can't figure this one out; I have a lot of photos synced to my iPad but I can't figure out how to see the file names of the photos. They have the date in the file name and without this info the iPad isn't really useful to me for what I bought it for.
Is there anyway to see the file names of photos and even better, sort them by name?
    Thanks!

The standard ipad photo app does not show the names of photos.
There are 3rd party apps that do, plus they have other functions you may find valuable.

  • HT1025 Why Have I lost the ability to name each photo in the latest update?

For years I have been able to name each photo an sort in my albums by name.  Now I don't even get anywhere to put a name!

Depends on what you are calling a name - and on what undisclosed version of iPhoto (and the OS) you have
The general answer is to click on the title below the photos and type the new title there

  • N8 - ringing no name no photo

    Hi
I am the (unhappy, for several reasons) owner of an Nokia N8,  after uploading/synchronizing all outlook contacts with photos and phone numbers, when one of the contacts calls me the phone only shows the phone number without name and photo.  Is this the way it is supposed to be.?  I dont think so as some days ago it still worked perfectly... at least..for the photo and names of the incoming calls.
Why is this phone not showing names and photos of incoming callers anymore?  Does anybody have an idea?
    Kind regards
    Nomic.

This normally happens if there are two contacts with the same phone no.
The phone can't decide which to display so displays neither which isn't really a fault and has occurred on many previous phones.
It is usually syncing that causes the problem, you can end up with two versions of the same contact with only a minor difference.

  • What are rule for adding names to photos?

what are rule for adding names to photos in iphoto?

Since your profile indicates you have a Mac, I am guessing you are asking how to add a face name using iPhoto on your Mac.
You would open the photo in iPhoto, click "Info" on the bottom, and then the "Faces" tab on the right.
Once you have added the face name in iPhoto on your Mac, once you sync the photo to your iPhone, the name will appear there as well.

  • HT4623 How do you name a photo onipad using ios8

How do you name a photo in iPad Mini using IOS8 ?

    Another method is:
    Open iphoto
Drag photo from iphoto to desktop. (you will still maintain the original in iphoto)
Open photo on your desktop in Preview
    Click File, Save As.
In Save As , there is a Quality slider to adjust file size.
Save this file to desk top and then right click on the photo icon.
Click on "Get info" to check new file size. Repeat as needed
I find this an easier method than exporting from iphoto

  • I name each photo buy replacing the jpeg number with the name. when I burn to disk and open disk the name is not shown. how do I get the name given to show on the burn disk?.

after I burn the files to dvd and load to view the name does not appear. How do I get the name listed to appear on the burn disk instead of the file number?

Naming the Photo - or giving it a title - is not the same as naming  file.
How are you burning to dvd? With iPhoto? If so then the Title will be available in any app that understands basic metadata.
If you want the title available in the Finder - which does not understand photo metadata  - then you'll need to export the file
    File -> Export
In the resulting dialogue you'll see a heading for 'File Name'. Choose 'Use Title' from the drop down.

  • How to Get Albums in File-Name-Order Photo

When I updated my iPod Touch to V4.0 and iTunes (V9 on Windows XP) re-synced it, I found that my photo albums were now in Picture Date order rather than PC file name order. I tried several things that didn't work.
What worked was using the Photoshop Essentials Organizer to change the picture date on all the photos in an album to the same date and time (this can be done to all selected photos in one operation).
I did the sync in two steps. First I moved the album out of the iTunes photos directory and then synced my iPod which deleted the album. Then I moved it back and re-synced.
Does anyone know of an easier trick? I’ve already submitted a feedback item to Apple that they should make file-name-order an option in iTunes
    Andy…

The trick that I used is to append the URL with the name of the file. So if your url is "http://domain.com/attach", use "http://domain.com/attach/filename.doc". IE and Netscape parse the URL to determine what the filename is, so by placing this text at the end, you essentially let the browsers know what the filename is. :)
I have design a program to get the attach file from an
attachment. But when I click the link to save the
file, the default name of the file is 'attach'
whenever I get different files. Who know what is the
problem, please tell me the truth.
Here are some codes of the program.<< snip >>

  • How to show file names of photos in iMovie '11

I'm making the move from iMovie 6 to iMove '11.
I always carefully name my digital photos with a serial number and what the image is of. For example "001 Kawailoa Bay, Kauai.jog"
In 6 I could see the filename of an imported image/photo on the timeline which easily allowed me to add the needed caption (title) to the video, reading the needed info and typing it into the caption text.
In '11 I cannot see any properties of the image/photo that will show me the filename in the project. I have to right-click and "Reveal in Finder" to see the filename and then return to '11 to add the caption.
Am I overlooking a way to see the filename or properties of an image in the Project?
    thanks

I don't know of a way to do it other than the way you are doing it with Reveal In Finder.
