Nano resets to apple screen for no apparent reason

Has anyone else had this problem? It has happened to me twice in the last week. I will be shuffling through songs in a playlist and it will just shut off and go to the black apple screen. It will work fine after that, but I am just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks.

The thing that bugs me is that it does not happen all of the time. The reset I have seen mostly occurs in 'Playlist' so others seeing a similar issue in 'Music' shows this is mostly likely a software problem. Has anyone taken this up with someone at the Apple store?
I will rest it to factory settings tonight and discuss it with one of the makeup wearing dudes at my local Apple store tomorrow and report back.

See if the following help.
Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies And Data and also Clear History
If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
Turning off iCloud and multitasking gestures on the iPad might also help.

Can any help me figure out why this is happening? My Ipod nano pauses on its own very often while I run. Anyone have any ideas what is making this occur?

Screen flashes back to home screen for no apparent reason IOS 7.0.3

When reading email or web pages, both my iPad 1 and iPad 2 flash back to the home page without warning. There has also been a considerable slowdown with the performance since the IOS 7.0.3 update. Any others have any ideas or solutions?

Extremely dark screen for no apparent reason

Hi All,
I've just bought a MacBook, it's great except for the following issue. Suddenly, while I was browsing using Firefox under MS Windows Vista with Boot Camp (OK, I'm a heretic but let's discuss it another time), the screen went extremely dark. First I thought that the computer had shut down, but I realized that the screen was minimally visible. I tried putting it to sleep and then waking up, but the brightness remained abysmally low. I also tried manipulating with F1 and F2, no use. Then I made a cold reboot (I couldn't even see the shutdown button, only some shadows), and the problem has gotten resolved. The screen is now bright, but I don't know why the darkness occurred and whether there is a risk of its happening again.
Any suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance.

I've seen this a few times. I don't know what the cause is. For me, it probably happens once every 6-8 months, so I'm not too worried about it.

Mask slowly migrates across screen for no apparent reason

I am putting together scrolling credits but I don't want the text to start and end at the top/bottom edges of the screen. Instead I am trying to place a mask in the center of the screen so that the text enters and exits the scroll from within the screen. When I add an image mask it looks fine on the first frame, but 10 seconds later the mask has migrated 100+ pixels and the four corners of the rectangle have distorted. I have not added any behaviors to the mask nor are there any keyframes. From what I can see, there is nothing causing it to move, and yet it does.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try placing your text layer in a group and mask the group instead.
Are you using a camera in your project? Or 3D? There are other things in Motion that can cause the appearance of movement and distortion besides behaviors and keyframing.

A computer icon appears for no apparent reason at random times on my Toshiba Satellite P745

An icon appears, where there are two computers, one larger than the other one, on my computer screen for no apparent reason and at random times. Does this happen to anyone else while they are using their satellite? Do you know what it is supposed to indicate?
I have anti-virus software on my computer.

For no apparent reason I can no longer get my email icon to work. All I get is a completely blank screen.

Try turning the account off and on : Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars , then tap the account on the right, slide Mail to 'off', exit settings and go back into the Mail app, and then go back to Settings and slide Mail back to 'on'

Standard troubleshooting steps in order are as follows:
Power the iPad off and on.
An iPad reset, which is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release.
Restore your iPad with iTunes from your iPad's backup.
Restore your iPad with iTunes as a new iPad or not from your iPad's backup.
If no change after the last step, your iPad has a hardware problem.

Some basic steps to see if it's a software issue:

My nano's keep dyinig for no apparent reason.

This is the third Nano that has just stopped working for no apparent reason in the last 6 months. I'll plug it in to charge/sync and when I unplug and go to play it never turns back on. I also get a message that the USB port is no longer recognized by my computer. I've tried other computers and get the same message. I can see perhaps one ipod being currupt but all 3?
