Narratation problem elements 9

One computer using Elements 9 has stoped recording in the Naratation bar The mic shows input The lap top which can record shows enabling device as VIA HD audio input and out put The computer that will not record shows in audio hardware settings enabling device as Realtek HD audio input and output also modem #0 line record (emulated)
How can I change the settings which may over come my problem

Try launching the Inspiration Browser from the Editor (or the Organizer) by using Help...Elements Inspiration Browser from the menu. You'll get a window where you can log in with your Adobe ID or create an ID if you don't have one.

Narration Problems Elements 11

I record my clips. When I place them on the narration line they will not play. I move them to the soundtrack line or audio 2 line and they will play. Please help. What setting do I need for my narration line to work. It is not muted in the audio control page. There is no check on mute. Anything to try will be appreciated

I recieve the message "installatie programma kan niet initialiseren. Download Adobe Support Adviser after i start the adviser nothing happened. So what will i do next ?????????

The English version is Install program couldt not initialize, and it is
photoshop elements , and i am using MAC OS X 10.8.5

Problems adding narrations using Elements 11 on Mac

I keep getting an error message saying I don't have any input channels and to go to the audio hardware and change it to default device to rectify this issue. Well, I've tried...for the past hour and I keep getting an error message saying, "Ensure I have launched premiere elements in administration mode"? Whaaat???? I had my Logitech sound dock connected to my computer via usb but unplugged it. Still, NOTHING! Premiere elements 11 has crashed on me a few times and now I wished I would have shelled out the $300 for FCP X. At least I wouldn't be going thorugh this trouble w/ deadlines to meet.

Although Windows and Mac are indeed different, I tried to reach a common ground since the Premiere Elements worksflows are similar be they based on Windows or Mac (although Mac does seem to get short changed on some features here and there).
However since you said yourself you are getting messages to the effect
"Ensure I have launched premiere elements in administration mode"?
my suggestion about your permissions and Administrative Accounts was quite relevant since Premiere Elements has always been highly dependent on those factors as well as the latest version of QuickTime installed.
I am not sure how much help will be forthcoming from Adobe since it classically deals with current version and 12 is released, but you could try to contact Adobe through Adobe Chat and see how far you get.

When the link opens, click on "I still need help." to bring up the Adobe Chat pop up. I pre-selected the topic as "Using my product and service."
I did come across the following online discussion which sounds very close to your situation, Premiere Elements 11 Mac et al. In that case, a person identified as coming from Adobe stepped in. It is an 11 month old post with no posted conclusion. Nonetheless you might want to explore the contact cited at the end of the post.

Narration problems with Elements 11

I'm trying to add narration to a project using Premiere 11. I have made the recommended ajustments under preferences, audio hardware, ASIO input and output. It begins the recording process to the time line and it is saved to the project assets. BUT there is no sound when replaying the file. There is no visible audio on the yellow-greem narration time line. Am I missing a step somewhere? I've tried a Sennheiser head set with mic, wireless mic and a hand help mic - all plugged directly into my pc but no luck - I have added narration with the same equipment to other programs - all the microphones are in working order - any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nikon D7000 problem - Elements 5.0

Hello all
I've been having some problems that just started recently - I am able to open and edit my photos from my Nikon D7000 just fine in Elements 5.0, but when I come to save them it gives me the famous mystical 'cannot save due to a program error' message. I tried going into the Appdata folder and renaming the settings and all that but I still have had no luck - Elements will let me edit photos from other sources, but not off my D7000. Anyone have any idea what to do? I'm coming up empty on this one.

Problem Elements 10 Organizer

My Elements 10 immediatly defaults to "Elements 10 has encountered a problem and has to shut down" whenever I try to work in that area. The Edit area appears to work correctly. I am operatiing Window XP how do I corredt this.

Can you try to unistall(deactivate the software first) and reinstall the software?

Problem elements 8 red river paper and Canon Pro 9000MKII

I am using a Canon Pro 9000 MKII, Red River arctic polar gloss and Elements 8. I believe I have followed all instructions correctly: I have installed the profile for the paper and disabled color management where it is indicated but all my prints are coming out decidedly too red with the result that browns look purple and greens look almost brown. Can anyone make any suggestions?

Okay, here is where things stand: First I have calibrated my monitor with a Spyder Elite calibrator. I have downloaded and installed the latest driver for the printer. I have tried both "no color management" and "always optimize colors for computer screens". Selected "printer manages colors". Still getting a reddish tint, but marginally better. Have tried to manually adjust color by reducing the magenta which theoretically allows more green and yellow and less red. Interestingly the printer status shows of the eight cartridges, the red, green, black, light magenta and dark cyan are showing virtually no useage even after thirty five to for prints, a good number of which were 8.5 x 11. I have printed a test page and done the check nozzle for clogging tests and everything appears to be working fine.
I have seen some discussions of this issue on other boards with no resolution. I am going to try printing with another software package- probably some shareware rather than spend a bunch of money on software when the problem could be the printer. I really appreciate your taking the time to help. Any other suggestions would definitely have my attention.

Narration problem in PE 7

I had to re install premier elements 7 and now I cannot get the narration to work. The microphone is working as are the speakers and the soundtrack is fine. However, now when I click on the narration the box comes up and the lines go up and down while I am recording, but then nothing comes in the narration track. Any idea what to do. It was working fine before the hard drive crashed and I had to re install.

I would anticipate that it is just a setting that was changed, and now you have the default.
This ARTICLE points to some places to check for Audio.
Can you post a screen-cap of your Audio Hardware Preferences/Setting, and also your ASIO settings?
I'd also post a screen-cap of the Windows Sound dialog box.
Where are your Captures set in Preferences?

Printing problem Elements 11

When printing in Orgnizer in Elements 11 the printout is as selected,but in Editor the image in Portrait format is always printed out smaller than selected e.g 15 x 10 cm image prints out as 10 x 9 cm. There is no 'Print Preview' facility available

All parameters were correctly set i.e. Image size 15 x 10 cm, paper size
A4, printer to portrait mode, Center Image deselected and image
positioned on the canvas . Latest printer driver installed recently.
I have no problem with printing in Organizer but do not have
the.editing facilities.

Newbie problem: elements pane is empty

Hi,
my Visual Composer (version 6 on EP 6, with patch 4) starts fine, I can also connect to the portal and I can see my R3 systems in the Data tab.
My <b>elements pane</b> is empty, though.
According to the tutorial, I should be able to go to "Model"/"add elements" and drag a module to my design view.
I can't, because of the above problem.
Any idea what the cause/solution could be?

Did you install MSXML and SVGView packages?
Installing MSXML4.0 package fixed my problem.

"FFB" Problem -Elements Not Showing

I'm creating a site using the "Full Browser Method."
I've gone through the forum & google before posting. I've
also done Lee's tutorial at GoToLearn. It's great for tiling
backgrounds.
1.) What's the standard size for "FFB" I'm currently using
1280x800. I'm using a image for my background what size should that
be?
2.) I've gotten my background to fill the browser but a lot
of my elements are getting clipped. For example I drew a bar a the
bottom of my stage and typed some text. When I go to publish the
.html it doesn't show it gets clipped.
3. My main objective is to load my "bg.swf" at level 0 using
the "FFB" method, then my "content.swf" at level 1 and my
"navigation.swf" at level 2. Do I need to have all my other "swf's
be published with the "FFB" method or justt my main flash movie
which is my "navigation.swf" How can I accomplish this. What will I
need to do and where shall I place my actions scripts?
I'm on a MAC intel using Flash 8 Pro. I have a basic
understanding of AS2

When you insert Flash into a page using DW 8.2 it now creates
a
'scripts' file in your local site folder. You have to upload
that
'scripts' folder to your server, otherwise the Flash will not
work.

Help! 2 Hour Narration Problem

I recorded a 2 HOUR Narration over a Keynote presentation. During the first 10 minutes, my cell phone rang and i paused the narration and then restarted it and picked up narrating after my call. It recorded fine and i can play it all back in keynote. But when i convert it to a quicktime file, only the firs 10 minutes come over.......where i paused the narration is where it stops..... Am i doing something wrong since i can get narration over, just not all of it? I have read alot of posts on alternative routes to use but I am not re-recording it since it's 2 hours long! Any help is appreciated!!!!

Greetings and welcome to the Forum:
This is one way of retrieving your narration. It will take a few hours (this will be done in "real time" after all) but it is probably better and safer than trying to re-record the voice track.
You say that you can play the entire narration from within Keynote. That's good. Otherwise, this will not work.
Using an external recording device (a tape recorder, CD recorder, VHS recorder, or whatever) connect the audio output (headphone jack) from your computer to the line-level input of the recorder.
Play the Keynote narration and record it on the external recorder.
Now, reverse the process: Connect the output of the external recorder to the Audio line-level input of your computer. Go to System Preferences > Sound > Input and select Line-In as your audio source. Also adjust the Microphone Input volume to minimum (extreme left).
Now, in Keynote, you should be able to re-record this input as your Narration (or Soundtrack) while playing it back from the external recorder.
