Native extensions and captive runtime

I'm trying to use native extensions and captive runtime. When I try to create a release, the IDE shows this message "Native extensions are being used in the project but are not supported by the CAPTIVE_RUNTIME_BUNDLE package type. Runtime issues can occur." and I can't continue.
I've been able to compile it using the command-line, but I'm worried about the "runtime issues" that can occur.

Sorry, just verified that export release build, with Native Extensions and Captive Runtime bundled for Desktop projects has been fixed and is available in the final release of Flash Builder 4.7.

Hi there,
This seems very frustrating. An iPad can shut down randomally for many reasons, just like a computer can crash. If it begins to happen regularly, then do contact Apple, but there are no signs that your iPad is malfunctioning from just one shut down like this.
But, you should be able to get all your in-app purchases back. In some apps, there is a 'restore purchases' button, which will download all the purchases you made for free.
In some cases, you can tap to make the purchase again, and it will be downloaded at no charge, however this does not happen with consumable items such as coins and credits.
I reccomend contacting iTunes Store Support at the link below, they will take a closer look at your purchases and give you further steps on redeeming them. They may also refund you if they have been lost.

You can also contact the developer of the app, and report the crash and missing purchases. If you tell me the app, I'll give you the relevent contact in the developers.

The problem is with an item in the 'Latest Purchases' section. When I click on 'Report a Problem' it takes me to the support page. I have gone to the link you provided many times... so far it always says to check again in a few minutes and never works.
I would really like to hear back from Apple directly and get some assistance with this issue.

You have a Puerto Rico address on your account ? From a quick search I've found one site from somebody in Puerto Rico that includes a screenshot for an app receipt showing tax of 7 cents added to a 99 cent purchase. Are you able to view the purchase history on the account that you've been using, and see what prices show on them (e.g. if the store's listed price or price plus tax) : Store > View Account menu option on a computer's iTunes, then 'see all' link next to the Purchase History section.

Have you tried contacting iTunes Support and asking them ? We are fellow users here on these forums, it could be due to a number of reasons, we won't know which one.

Retail Folios and In-App purchases

Hi,
How are retail folios (as managed in Folio Producer) and in-app purchases related?
That is, when I add a new in-app purchase for my new retail folio in my Multi-folio App; how does my app know which folio is related to which in-app purchased I added in iTunesConnect?
In iTunesConnect I assign a price tier to my in-app purchase. How does the Multifolio App that is that given folio and no another that has to be that price tier?

Relating to sync and paid app purchases?

Actually I am having a doubt regarding sync and paid apps purchases
First question
I am not having credit card so I can not make any paid app purchase from App Store but one of my friend is having credit card and he is making purchases so can I sync my phone with his pc and get his paid app to my phone
Second question
If yes, then will my app that are already existing will still be with me so that I can use both my free as well as his paid apps one at a same time
And my device in not jailbroken and I am not even interested in that

No, You would have to sign into your friends iTunes/App store account on your phone, and if you did that, all apps you previously downloaded on your account will no longer work (answer to question #2)

Setting up two iPod Touches on one account with gift cards for app and in-app purchases

I have multiple devices on one account - 2 iPod classics, one iPhone 3G and two recently acquired iPod Touches for my 8 year old boys. They want to make in-app purchases (for Dragonville). They each have their own gamecenter ID. I want to set up each of them with gift cards for their purchases. Is this possible?
If not, what is the recommended approach to manage all devices in one place while allowing individual devices to have a seperate payment mechanism?

Create a NEW account/ID for her using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before. Make sure you specify a birthdate that results in being at least 13 years old

Use the new ID on her iPod but only for:
Settings>Messages>Send and Receive
Settings>FaceTime
Settings>GameCenter
and Settings>iCloud if you want her to have separate Contacts Calendar and some other things.
Continue to use the same/common Apple ID for Settings>iTunes and App stores so you can share purchases.
To make sure you only sync the media yoo want, configure iTunes syncing so that only checked media is synced to the idevices.

Is there any way to share in-app purchases with Family Sharing feature?
I bought full app via in-game unlock button, but when I do the same on a shared device, it says I must buy it, and asks to enter security code for payment method.
All others apps share fine, but when it comes to in-app purchases, it says that a free game demo IS shared content and I can "download it for free" when I "buy" it in App Store. At the same time the full game itself (via in-game unlock) IS NOT shared. So what's the point?

My son and I share a computer to sync his ipod and my iphone. He downloaded a free app, which was uploaded to our computer itunes account, then downloaded onto my iphone. I ended up loving the app and want to make in-app purchases, but can't. I get a message saying I must first download the app for which I'm making in app purchases for. I assume this is because it was downloaded using him username on his ipod. How can I get around this without deleting the app from my phone (and losing my game) and then downloading it myself? Apple did approve our in-app purchase without publishing the folio ahead of time.
I have a new question: Can I change the "Cleared for sale" attribute in the iTunes Connect interface from no to yes before a folio's scheduled publication date? Or should I wait until after the folio has been published?
I would think you could set the "Cleared for sale" attribute to yes before the publication date and it would not cause any problems since the folio is not available to purchase until it's published.

I am trying to unhide and hide apps on itunes from my apple account. I do the process to unhide and hide them and itlooks like it worked but then when i go back to the purchased page of the app store, nothing happened. WHAT DO I DO!?!?!?!?

I was charged for in-app purchases for an app I never downloaded. The app is listed as a free app and therefore as best I can tell there is no course of action through Apple for getting the total ($43.56) refunded. Anyone know of anything that can be done other than contacting the developer (Tap4Fun)? I'm sure they will email me right back.

I downloaded the game 'Spice Bandits' from the app store around three weeks ago. Enjoyed the game thoroughly so even made an in-app purchase of £6.99 to boost myself along. However, on Friday after opening the app it promptly froze, screen went White and the app closed.
On re-opening the app, it had reverted back to the beginning and was trying to put me through the tutorial and was back at level one. I'd lost my £6.99 in-app purchase and all the progress in the game. the strange thing is on looking at the Game Centre, the progress was all still in there until I restarted the iPad.
I've contacted the developer but not yet heard anything back regarding the restoration of data or a refund!
I am using an iPad 2 on iOS 4.1 - it's not been updated as it's not used that often and I've never had any problems.
Does anyone have any suggestions on the route I should take with this? Is there a way to get support from apple? The iPad is less than a year old.

Hi Bruton,
When updating an app, the file saved using SavedData will remain intact if you update the app. However, if you uninstall the app, the SaveData will be removed.
