Question

hi I'm using this code to see all the files in a folder:-
//get a list of files in a specific folder
var directory:File = File.documentsDirectory.resolvePath("my_unique_folder/");
directory.getDirectoryListingAsync();
directory.addEventListener(FileListEvent.DIRECTORY_LISTING, directoryListingHandler);
function directoryListingHandler(event:FileListEvent):void
var list:Array = event.files;
for (var i:uint = 0; i < list.length; i++)
trace(list[i].nativePath)
My output is the whole path,
/Users/mm/Documents/reader/settings11.txt
/Users/mm/Documents/reader/settings13.txt
and I just need the file name. I have tried trace(list[i]) but this give [object file] as output
any ides as to how to just get the files in a folder in an array

simple really its
trace(list[i].name);
