Nature space app sound does not turn off and why is the camera living underneath the app screen
Cannot get the sound on the nature space app to turn off. And wondering if the app normally uses the camera. As I'm new to this it could be simple? Or is it a bug? The camera is sitting under the screen which isn't t making sense to me!!
Never mind. Apparently a duplicate of other threads. Possible fix: update the defective OSX Lion to Mountain Lion.

My home network is set up with a single router that assigns DHCP addresses and does the NAT to the internet. This router does not have wireless. Its location is too out of the way (given where Comcast brought the line in) to be any good at wireless broadcast. So I installed two access points on the wired network.
I had vaguely known something about using the same SSID on the multiple base stations but I had also heard of difficulties a university reported having some years ago.
In any case I made the switch and it works great. I get full bars on the icon on the menu bar as I walk around the house. Exactly what I was looking for and no manual intervention once I set it up.

Try a device reset:
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally. -

My BEATS speakers are connected to my Mac but I have no audio and do not understand how to turn off the speaker. I press the power button and not shut off. And the white light behind me indicating that this synchronized, does not turn off ever.

Can you click on the apple on the left of the menu bar? Did you try Paul_31's advice to choose force quit to see if there are any applications that are not responding?
I tend to agree that it may be time to take it to an Apple service center for hands-on attention.
Apple normally doesn't replace a machine with a new one unless they have been unable to repair an issues(s) after several tries. -
My ipad does not turn off...i tried pressing the slep/wake button and home button for more than 10 secs but nothing hapened. Also, the screen is not rotating on portrait and landscape views...
While this could potentially be a hardwar issue:
Try a rest: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the iPad shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the iPad back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.
If the reset doesn't work, you may need to consider restoring the iPad to factory settings -

My Pokerist app sound does not work. It will only work if I have head phones on. All other sound works, songs, video etc. I deleted the app, then installed again still no sound. Smartypants0Check out this link - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4085. There have been instances where settings have accidentally changed. Double click on the Home button, swipe all the way to the right to reveal the leftmost icon and alternate settings if necessary.

Screen does not turn off near my ear
The screen backlight does not turn off when you place it near your ear. Anyone else have this problem?
What I found, especially with my Boxwave case (that iLounge didn't give high marks for), was that if you hold the earhole up directly to your ear, the screen does turn off.
I checked and rechecked it in the mirror, and if I deviate a few cm higher or lower, then no, it won't. But if it's right up to my ear, then it does.
By the way, I love the Boxwave case. The leather foldover protects the screen when sitting in my brief case. -

Apple iPAD 2. Needs password to unlock iPAD; however there is a permanent keyboard displayed on the screen that does not respond to touch. iPAD switches on with button but does not turn off using it at moment. Can you help please?
Try a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignore the red slider if that appears. See if that clears the glitch.
