Navigaion buttons not appearing for .swf publication

I have a .swf file where the navigation buttons are not
appearing.

I have the same problem - I created a Captivate 2
presentation, and when I preview, the playback controls are there,
but when I publish it, it has no controls. I keep checking Skins
and it says there it's turned on. And the controls did show at
first, but have stopped and I have no idea how they could have got
'suppressed.'
I got so desperate I tried creating a new project and
importing all the slides into it, but... still the same, whatever
setting is causing this came along with the slides. I have both
info and quiz slides, but playback controls don't appear on any of
them.
Anybody?

I have written down an ALV report with 'REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY'. I have added a PF-STATUS with some custom buttons. When executed, the cusom buttons are visible but standard ALV buttons are not appearing. Can you please suggest why this is happening and how to avert this?

Before adding your buttons, you have to copy the standard ALV status (STANDARD of program SAPLKKBL) in your status:
So in menu painter while creating your status you need to go:
Extras->Adjust Template: here set the status of ALV standard

"i" button not appearing for descriptions added through get info screen

All movies and tv shows purchased from iTunes show a little gray "i" button in the description field. Clicking it opens a popup with the same text shown in the description field using get info.
If I add my own movie or tv show and add a description into the same field, no "i" button is shown as the downloaded content, although the text is in the same field.
The strange thing is, when I use the tagging software MetaX, I can enter the same description info, and after writing tags and importing to iTunes, the description field will show the "i" button.
This behavior is obnoxious to say the least. There must be some sort of flags in the meta data that are not being set properly, as other tagging apps besides iTunes create the right behavior.

Thanks for that 'sberman' - because my iPhone is backed-up to my work computer (only at this stage) I have had to call our IT Department in Adleaide. (4 times this morning). The last guy managed to get the phone into 'DFU Mode' - no more recovery mode screen - (kind of 'asleep' perhaps) from my understanding of same. I am awaiting a call again from IT so they can get my computer to actually recognise my iPhone on the C Drive. This also happened to one of my colleagues in Newman (WA). She got so frustrated with the whole process that she bought another phone the next time she was in 'civilisation.' She hasn't had any problems since. (Cross fingers).

Buttons not appearing clearly upon output

I have created menu buttons (with highlight) that in turn link to the relevant movie file.
When outputted to DVD these buttons appear blurry and unclear.
Why are the buttons not appearing in a crisp, clean state when I have outputted them?

Which version of DVD SP are you using? Are you
making these over video menus? What size and color
of fonts/background? They can all play into what is
happening, usually 20pt + sans serif works best, but
the text in DVD SP can often leave things to be
desired from time to time - where are you previewing
the buttons?

The vesrion Im using is DV Studio Pro 3. The up state color of the buttons are black and over is red. The font size is 13pt Arial Black.
I have outputted the DVD itself, so I view it through TV.
Am I on the right track?

I am using Mac OSX 10.10.1 (memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, graphics Nvidia GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB)
and my version of Photoshop is CC.
I ran into the same problem: I am able to place and view Blur Gallery pins but the adjustment wheel or outer control arounf the pin that allows you to tweak the blur value disappeared after being initially available. Additionally, the placed pin or pins appear to flicker on screen (while in blur gallery mode) until committing the change with the OK button. I have tried restarting both the computer and Photoshop, as well as what some other users have suggested such as View>Show>Edit pins turned on. Nothing has helped so far. I am still able to adjust the blur amount from the Blur Tools slider. thank you.

Reset password button not appearing

Hi, I am running OSX Mavericks 10.9.4 on a Macbook Pro. I am logged on as administrator and want to reset the password for a user on my computer. However, the "reset password" button does not appear for this user. What can I do?

Cleeve33 it sounds like you have a volume license for Dreamweaver. The following information should help you with downloading the software.

Choose Licenses > Downloads.

Click Search.
To filter the list of products, select items from the Product Name, Version, Platform, Language, or App Server lists. Ensure that you are using the name of the product as it appears on the order. For example, Design Premium in CS4 became Adobe Design Premium in CS5.

AED not appearing for utilization

I am reposting the question having hopes of getting replies..
A similar question asked in this forum has also been included.
This particular case is for import trading scenario
Purchase Order is made in MM and during MIGO excise invoice is captured.Addnl CVD value 4% will be taken as AED.The same can be displayed in transaction J1IG.
Client has the requirement of displaying AED in J1IJ while capturing the excise invoice created during MIGO itself i.e, during goods inward as the same will be considered for RG23D reporting purposes.
But AED (Addl CVD 4%) is not being displayed in J1IJ for depo sales.
Also there is no field called as AED for capturing the same in J1IJ,but there are additional fields TAX1 and TAX2 in J1IJ.
BED,ECS,SEcess is transferred from J1IG to J1IJ but not AED

Hi All,
I am having input credit available for AED whereas the payable amount is not there for AED. So I want to utilise this AED amount against other payable amounts but this AED credit balance is not showing for utilization. When I have checked for other plant where AED payable is available then the AED input credit is also showing for utilization.
I have checked the CIN settings: In excise registration details for the plant, the Liable to AED option is ticked and under Account determination settings--- RG23 AED account has been assigned to UTLZ ETT.
Can anybody please suggest that what other settings needs to be done or is there any specific settings for cross utilization which I might have missed out on.

Hi,
If i am correct you are referring to ADC (Additional Customs duty) in case of imports. This duty value is similar to AED (In screens it will be in AED column only) but in customization you will be using subtransaction type "IP" to differentiate AED from ADC, you need to maintain G/L accounts for Excise transaction types and subtransaction type IP, so that the duty values are passed on to those G/L accounts.

Media files not appearing in SWF file

I have set up a few interactive elements in an InDesign page. Some drop down menus, buttons and such like. I Have also imported a small MP3 audio file and video clip – they aren't large files. Everything works as it should when viewed in the EPUB viewer. However when I export to SWF or an interactive PDF neither the audio or video clip appear – let alone play. The other slideshows and animations work fine. I have double checked the files and all the settings without success. I'm up to date with the latest versions of InDesign (2014.2 release) and Acrobat etc
Anyone have a solution or experiencing similar problems – any info gratefully received.

If the media files (both audio and video) do not have a poster image applied, there will not be a visual representation of these files in the exported PDF or SWF. That does mean that the media files aren't in the export, if you click where they are suppose to be, you should be able to activate them. Through the media panel in Indesign, select media, and choose a standard or custom poster.
Edit: although a poster image can be applied to an audio file, this works with PDF export, but during SWF export, the poster still does not display. The workaround for SWF export and audio, create a button with an action to play a sound.
